CHEERY O
My goodness. it is really Tuesday, right? My brain is totally messed up. It is. I double-checked my calendar and I know that Gary put the garbage at the curb. So yes, Tuesday. What does that mean overall? Nothing more than I got the right day in the Subject line here LOL

I have so many little things I need to do today, it is important for my brain to be working better. I have a few things on my list written down but I need to keep things in my mind for more than a split second. ugh!

I was lucky, I didn't end up wasting lots of time on what to cook last night. As I was cleaning out the freezer, I saw a box of chocolate croissants (FYI: From Trader Joe's and are soooo yummy!) so I at least had a dinner idea solved. That freed up time for me to move my small azalea to a different area. It was getting taken over by hydrangea and was thin and spindly. I have that beautiful azalea on the side of the house so I put the smaller one in the same section. I am hoping it gets enough sun and nutrients as the big one. The soil is really rocky and there are a lot of roots in there from other plants so I needed to dig everything carefully. Scott told me I should wait until it is a bit cooler/end of the season so I am keeping all of my fingers crossed that it will take in the new area. It wasn't going to make it where it was. I am second-guessing myself on it but what is done is done. It is supposed to rain on and off today so that will be good for the roots.

Today is going to be trying to get lots of stuff off my to-do list. My biggest job is going to be working on my food shopping list. Why is that so darn hard????? Always. I have been yelling about this for as long as you all have known me hahaha!!!!!
Leah and Tom are going to be here for dinner tonight so that will be fun. :)

Hugs!!!

@tanteva The Abbey looks gorgeous and full of neat history. Although this bit seems odd:
The monks convent was converted in 1795 as a so called "Kurhus", i. e. a hospital for venereal diseases.
 So only one saint? My Italian family has more than that! LMAO My grandmother gave me all of her medals before she passed. She would pray to her saints all of the time and I have no idea how many are on the ring she kept them clipped to. Way, way more than one.
It is so cool that you are looking fwd to working, I know that when I started back cleaning again I was thrilled- just to get out of the house and feel like I was doing *something.* Have fun today!

@nancyr hey there! Sounds like you are going great! I added Wanted to our Netflix list. We started watching Shadow and Bone last nght. Well, I watched, Gary fell asleep. We will start Wanted probably tonight.
Congrats to your son's fiancee!!! That is wonderful news and a big milestone. She is so young, scary how that happens.

@Cherylndesigns The second season of the podcast This Land is starting soon., I know you enjoyed the first one.
My mom was so much more accepting of Tom than she ever was of me with my ears pierced and tattoos. She calls it mutilation. I finally got my ears pierced by my pediatrician when I was 13 and she made my mom leave the room. hahaha!!! And mom's saying always was "God is gonna get you." or "God got you." She probably would have said that to me if I had done it behind her back. heehee
Hope that you scrap an O version of that photo soon

*waves hi to @vickyday !!*

xoxo to all of you!

good morning - the humidity has gone back up again and Luther is in the basement. Today should be such fun as I am going to lunch with my girlfriends I went with to Alaska. It will be good to catch up with them A cool surprise yesterday was on Facebook - one of the women I worked with posted a photo of the co-ed softball team I played on. It was so fun to see. Of course I finished Wanted. I have Disney+ which has Nat Geo on it and they have a 4 episode series on the Secrets of Whales. I watched the first 2 one on Orcas and one on humpbacks. They really are amazing. They talked about humpbacks bubble net feeding and how rare it is to see, that only about 100 humpbacks do this. Well we got to see it on our whale watching trip in Alaska. I knew it was special but just not how special it was. Got more scrapping done so that made me happy!

@faerywings Chris that is interesting about your mom and piercings. My mom had pierced ears and was glad I got mine done. One of my favorite things was to buy new earrings. Now tattoos is a different story. good luck with the grocery list - I must do that too! Hope the transplanted plant takes. I am sure you will talk to it and give it lots of care.

Waving to all!

"The monks convent was converted in 1795 as a so called "Kurhus", i. e. a hospital for venereal diseases."

That's what happens when you toss catholisism out & start living. ;)

Good afternoon all. Hope everybody is having a happy Tuesday.

Chris @faerywings Mom also used to say "if God had intended for you to have (fill in the blank) He would have put them on you". I can't even think what she would have done if we'd ever had tats back then!! We used to call her "Greta Garbo" because she was such an actress. When we'd disappoint her, she'd put her hand on her forehead and fall back on her bed. LOL (Actually, Dad started calling her that.)

Chocolate croissants????? OMGoodness - that would have dropped me in my tracks. Chocolate doesn't agree with me, but croissants do. LMBO

Nancy @nancyr that's so cool about your softball team.

I'd better go get something done. Hugs to all.
