gooooOd mOrning, dear O-Fam! I hope that all of you are well and happy and rested. I am officially off of abx for 10 days and *knocks wood* so far, so good. Of course, LLMD told me that it would take 4-6 weeks before symptoms would come back if I relapse. However, I am going to take every little bit of "good" out of this as I can.

Whisky had a good visit at the vet. Teeth are fine, just stains. The vet wants us to brush them every day. Have any of you ever done that? They gave us a toothbrush and some chicken-flavored toothpaste  but darn if I want to hold a wiggling dog to brush their teeth. Lump just needs to be monitored and the chip is where it is and not much they can do about it.

Caitlyn and I spent well over an hour trying to work on her financial aid and hoooo boy, was that depressing. Our finances are complicated because Gary and I don't work, so we don't have W-2's. We claim the kids as dependents, but they also file their own taxes separately. trying to find the forms that the school is requesting is bonkers especially when they require forms, such as the W-2's, that don't exist. :frusty:
It rained all day again but not as bad as some other places. South Jersey got 8" of rain in some places with flooding all over. I also found out that MIL is going to need a knee replacement. That bites.

Anyway-- I am off to food shop this morning and Gary is coming with me. Maybe this afternoon, I will be able to spend a bit of time in the attic and the scrap later on too.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! xoxo

Rae- you had a productive couple of days! That is great! I saw some of the bee photos on FB- you have very steady hands haha!! I am really happy that you were able to get some scrapping done too.

Good luck on with the camera shopping.
I tell Gary that him being handy is why I keep him around too. He can usually fix everything which is why I was bummed about the lawn mower. Caitlyn needed a light switch in the room fixed. He went up, walked back down 5 minutes later. She asked him if it was fixable-- he had already finished LOL

Jean- I wish I had nice weather! I miss seeing the sun.
Gotta take the puppies out, BRB!
Serendipity! Always nice when things line up like staying home and then getting the phone call from your cousin. Happy to hear that DH's back was better and was off to H&S.

Felis- Summer is the when you are supposed to squander time :) Hope that you won't be too busy with work and can keep the music in your head if you are.
It is crazy how just about everything in my life is breaking down. Maybe that will be done for a while?
Good luck on getting back into scrapping your weeklies.

Hugs!!!

Noisy here as workers are clearing vegetation with loud machines from edges of the lot behind us. It was a long neglected place now with new owners. They let us know this would happen and doesn't really affect us, but wish they'd finish and restore quiet. Later I'm finally going to go and order prescription reading glasses as the cheap ones just aren't good enough any more. I have glasses for distance now that I need for driving but I don't drive a lot so don't wear them much. Hence the desire for separate glasses for reading that I need all the time.

Chris, glad W checked out well. Can NOT imagine brushing her teeth. Good luck with that! How nice you've got 10 good days without the abx and wishing you many, many more. If your MIL has a lot of pain with that knee, then replacement may bring her great joy as I understand normally the relief from pain can be wonderful. Rehab bites but is necessary. Hope you and G made it through the food shopping with no problems. Are you learning the new arrangement of the store?

Felis, hope the extra work got done and the music made you feel happy. I think Chris is right that summer can be time to just enjoy and not feel pressure.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, ladies. Just got back from VV and picked up a pair of short boots, sweaters and shirts. I will take Taz out for a walk at lunchtime and then will be going to the dentist after that for a cleaning. Then later after work we'll head up to watch a movie with B. The day will fly by. We're enjoying watch the new season of the sci-fi show "Killjoys". I think its the best season yet. I really need to catch up on my shows soon to clear the PVR b/c once the new tv season starts up in Sept I'm not going to have much room for recording shows. D is on call this wkend and other than shooting an engagement session Sat morning and visiting B at the hospital, I'm going to binge watch some shows.

Chris - yes, isn't it handy to have a man around who can fix stuff? I am so thankful for D's capabilities, I sure couldn't do it. We don't brush Taz's teeth but should. He has to go in for a deep cleaning with sedation soon. He had the non-sedation cleaning about 6 mths ago but our vet said he needs more in-depth cleaning. His mouth is so little, I don't know how the heck I'm supposed to get in there to brush....so I haven't so far.

Felis - hope the music brings you peace and enjoyment. I have started listening to classical during the day when working and it really relaxes me. In the car I love alternative rock/soft rock/top 40 pop.

Jean, Nancy, Trudy - hi to all of you.

Have to get to work now and get on with my day.

Good morning girls,
I have to be quick today because (Wednesday) is my mom Name day, so we will be overwhelmed. She choose a small family diner only with aunt, instead of garden party, because is the middle of the week, too hot, and also she isn't much party type. Neither of us isn't. But I still hope to have one nice festive day. :pizza:

Chris, we don't do such a things like nails clipping or teeth brush of the pets. At the capitol have saloons for that, but they are visited mostly by one type of ladies which have pets as a toys. I guess the sad truth is that we don't see reason to extend the life of just one dog till so many wait to takes it place. Basically we keep our dogs as close to the wild as its possible. Dentastix treats are the max, but I'm not sure how effective they are actually.
Enjoy your time out of the abx! Hope shopping wasn't too stressed!

Jean, noise is annoying, but at least I hope it's not for a long! Did you found glasses which to like?!

Trudy, hooray for the refreshing hairstyle! You miss us, but don't worry, enjoy to your family! Kiss the kids!

Nancy, !

Rae, I also watched too much TV these days, and catched up most of the missed seasons. So good that B enjoying them too! Great that your schedule is finally easier for a while!
Oh, I'm fan of Indie: Rock, Pop, Alternative, which is with men vocals. I like to left some handsome to express MINE feelings during his music. ;) .

Hugs, girls, hope you all to have one wonderful day! :music:
