We are really speeding through the summer. I really cannot believe is is almost the end of August.:( Usually by now, I have had it. Had it with the kids being home. having no real routine, sick of sand LOL
This year, I guess b/c the weather was so bad in July, I am feeling like summer is just starting.

My good news for today is that I am hoping to get my braces off! That will be so incredibly nice :) I want to give my teeth like a 10 minute scrubbing when I get home ;)

Hugs Sally- hope that you are feeling better today.Would you believe that brat of my DD didn't want to go to the lake yesterday?? Argh! It was gorgeous, and she sat there and pouted and wanted to go home. I told her I was not leaving before 2 full hours passed soshe could either swim and hav fun or sit and pout. Another one of her friend's showed up and then she didn't want to go home.

Ona- 95*F and you are almost at winter? wow!! That is hot. We have been hitting the 90's the last 2 weeks or so and at least 90% humidity. But that is typical summer here. I wish it would stay that warm all year round (for those of you who don't know- I HATE winter/cold- and anything under 50*F is freezing to me. )

Never ever go shopping online w/o searching for a coupon. I needed to get meds for Scott online. It's herbal stuff the dr prescribed, and this year I am going to be smart and have him keep a bottle at the nurse's office.
Anyway, I googled the store's name and found a 5% off coupon. Not a lot, but every little bit helps!
Window Live Search also offers rebates if you search through them.

Gooooood morning lovely-Os!!

Today is going to be a wonderful Tuesday :). Yesterday was pretty good except for a headache. My funk is lifting :). I am getting excited about my upcoming trip. DD and I are going first to CKC Nashville :) she doesn't know about that little stop LOL, it's just 2 hrs from here, we'll just make a quick run through then drive far as I feel like and stay the night somewhere if I don't feel like driving the rest of the way to FL. Then we are staying at a hotel in the Disney World complex for 3 nights. We are going to Magic Kingdom 1 day and Animal Kingdom 1 day then we'll probably go to a beach 1 day, who knows LOL. The first night we get there will be a Sunday night and we are going to the House of Blues to see Secondhand Serenade, I don't love them but she does and it is for her b-day soooo I think I can tolerate it LOL they're ok and I do love live music :).

Speaking of music, you guys gotta check out Third Eye Blind's new tunes!!! Their new album is out Ursa Major woohoo!!!! It rocks!!!! I'm embarrassed to say I've been in a funk and haven't even went out and bought it yet...when it first came out you could d/l it on itunes for just $3.99 and I didn't even do that...sheesh. They will release a second part Ursa Minor in a few months. It seriously is amazing and not just because I am in love with them LOL. If you ever have a chance to see them live go for it they put on an awesome show :).

OMGosh Davy is really getting into things this morning!!! He just jumped into my tall trash can and knocked it over. Before that I had let him out while I was getting ready for work and when I came back in the room my computer had a bunch of windows open. The other night he got under my covers on my bed and hopped around for about 10 minutes, I kept lifting the edges up looking at him and he was just sniffing around...it was soooo cute :). OMG there he goes to the trash can again! hehehehehe

oooooooh girls, gotta give y'all a little hint about something Linda and I are cooking up.....it's regarding Merkee's CT and challenges.....be on the lookout!!!!

And with that I gotta go and browse the shop I hear new designs calling my name...."ooooh Dawn you need to buy me...Dawn come buy me" ROFL.....

ok...I was only going to be on the computer a couple of minutes...but I have been on here for 45...since my phone will NOT quit ringing! QUICK...DH is waiting...we are headed back out for the second time today...and it's only 11 am....and gotta pick up Cameran at 2 from the bus...YIKES....

Just decided to go in 3 ways with DD and Mom for a Storage Unit....YAY...DH and I can really clean out some JUNK!!! Things HE can not live without!! LOL....I am not a pack rat....he is!!!

I NEED GROCERIES!!! any volunteeers??? Ok...I am off...just wanted to say HI to you gorgeous people!!

hello!!

I am in a good mood today!! I think it is the coffee I drank and the fact that even thought it was tight this morning went really well and I got some stuff done. When Ethan starts school again I will have 1/2 hour everyday to do stuff and I really want to be motivated and not sit and play on my computer. I figure since school is starting I can have some New Year's resolutions. Hmmm...I might feel a LO coming on. We'll see. Those are not my usual type of LOs so we'll see. I do want to do some scrapping to day. I only have one CT kit I need to play with right now so Imight actually try and scrap just because. I am a very slow scrapper so I don't get to do that very often, but I am going to try. I have this kit from SO about monkeys that is so cute and I think I have had it nearly a year and haven't ever used. I would think it would be super easy to use since both of my kids are monkeys.

So, I had a very strange Sunday night. the whole day was chill and in the evening I decided it was time to finally start folding laundry. I hate folding and putting away so it ends up in a big pile forever. So I folded for quite awhile watching TV. Then I got the kids to bed and noticed that dh wasn't heading upstairs and he was cooking pastrami after smoking it all day. So I went downstairs and saw he was asleep on the couch. So I covered him up, turned everything off and headed back upstairs. Then I heard Addie crying in her room. I went to get her and she had wet the bed. So I stripped her bed, wrapped her up in a blanket, got her new stuff to wear and brought her to my room to snuggle for a bit. She doesn't generally snuggle well if she is awake. She generally thinks it is play time. But she snuggled and we fell asleep. Then DH came to bed eventually and we all slept although Addie was trying to scoot me off the bed all night. The whole night was just off but it was really nice. I love my Sundays ending in a calm relaxing way, ya know??

So, Friday is Ethan's birthday. I am excited. I am taking the day off to hang out with him. He wants to eat biscuits and gravy while we watch the Hannah Montana movie. I'll have to go rent it on Thursday. My sis is getting him Miley Cyrus tickets for his birthday. I couldn't get over how expensive they were and I told my sister she wasn't allowed to buy them for his birthday. So she talked to my parents and they are going in together for it. I can handle that. We wanted to make sure that he would really want to go. I knew he would but checked anyway. So, I told him she was going to have a concert in Tacoma (about 1/2 hour away) and asked if he wanted to go. Of course he said yes. then I asked him if he would be willing to pay for his own ticket to go. He thought about it for a minute and said that he would definately spend his own money on it but me and daddy would have to buy our own ticket. LOL!! Then a few days later we were talking about his MP3 player and how he couldn't find it. So I asked if he was going to use his money to buy another one and he sat thinknig for a few minuytes and said he thought he might have enough money after he saw Miley Cyrus. He LOVES her. It is too cute. We're takinh him to a Mariners game for his birthday. It should be a lot of fun. He should have a great birthday.

Well, I have been blubbering long enough. I'd better wrap it up. I am almost to my posting goal. I think I am going to get it today. Whoohoo!!
 
Chris - Oooh!! How exciting to get your braces off. I remember the feeling of wanting to scrub your teeth after getting them on. I remember getting mine off and it feeling like I didn't have any teeth. It is such a strange feeling. Silly Caitlin. I'm glad she finally decided to have a good time at the lake.

LindaW - Sick of hearing about the grandbabies?? Never!! It actually makes me excited about one day becoming a grandma. I hate that my kids are getting older (I know at 2.5 and 7 we've barely started, but still) but knowing that they will one day be actual people with their own little crazy children that they will love as much as I love them is really kind of exciting...in a very distant future type of way. So, my point is please talk about those grandbabies all you want. I love it. I hope you and dh get everything done that you want to get done and you still have time to do what you want.

Dawn - your trip sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sure your daughter will love it. And that surprise concert. How cool. I love music too. I am getting excited to go see Dave Matthews over Labor Day. We have tickets for 2 nights. His concerts are different every night for all 3 days. He has so much music. It is unreal. PLus G-Love and Yonder Mountain are opening for them and they are both pretty awesome. It should be great. PLus we have a great group going. I am excited. Sorry, I was writing to you and made it all about me. Ooops. Anyway, I am glad you are working your way out of that funk. Thanks for todays installment of the Adventures of Davy!! Love it!!

Hey girlies!!!

I'm just now getting a bit of brain power to post here!! My house is completely empty...the kids are down at the park, mr gorgeous is getting his teeth cleaned...and the maids just left! I'm in bed, still sporting a vicious cold. I am taking tylenol since it gets my teeth to stop hurting!! :) but otherwise, I'm feeding the cold sugar! LOL!!! My dear sweet Emma made me chocolate chip cookies last night and then they brought me a cheery coke from Buc-ees on the way to the park this afternoon!!! (no scolding...I rarely get to just lay around for two or three days doing nothing but reading and playing online!!) heehee

I have been doing some CheeryO planning and some organizing...I ordered all of our history books through December!! and i need to order the three younger kids' math and Cora's Chemistry and then we'll be set for a week from this coming Monday!! yikes!! I can't believe this summer is over, too!! But it's been a great summer for us!!! The kids have accomplished sooo much. But honestly, i can't wait to get back into routine!! I tried to keep them on a routine during the summer, but it just wasn't to be!!! we are all bohemians here in the Keller house!!

Soooooo, I also signed up for a class on bigpicturescrapbooking.com called "Cutting the Crazy out of Christmas". I can't wait to be organized without having to come up with ideas myself!! I don't mind coming up with ideas, but right now, I need simplicity!! (could be my sicki-ness saying that!!) This class doesn't start until after our school starts, so i'll be in a routine when it all hits!! :)

So I'm getting close to my posting goal...only took me three months!! Glad you guys still love me!! :)

chris, sooooo glad you got some time in at the beach on a GOOD weather day!!! We only made it to the beach once this summer!! crazy for us!! we usually go three or four times...oh well!!!

I wanted to see the movie, but i would not be considered "cool" if i watched it, according to the teens (and almost teens) in my house!! *sigh* we'll see...i've overcome non-coolness before!! DAWN....dang...I wanna go with you and Amanda!!! sounds like FUN!! downfall to being a grandma...can't go on cool trips with your daughters because there is no babysitter when you are the grandma!!!! AWE...Davy sounds so cute "under the covers"!!
