If I disappear forever, it doesn't mean that I left you all willingly but that my house was lifted up and swept away from all of this rain. Rain today, a break tomorrow and then heavy rains and flooding on Thursday and Friday.
I guess I won't have to worry about a drought since we will have plenty of water in the basement hehe! Gary bought an additional surface pump which came yesterday since the one we have now was my FIL's and doesn't do the best job so now we will have two running and that might help stay on top of it.

My parents didn't have any bad news at all. *wipes sweat from brow* They wanted to see what Scott wants for his b-day and "graduation" which are both in May. He turns 21! :faint2: He doesn't want anything for "graduation" because he doesn't see it as that.
They also updated us on the new car. They are heading out tomorrow to look at the 2 that they narrowed down- a CRV or a Subaru Forrester. Everyone that I know who has a Subaru loves them, but she has driven CRV's for almost 20 years.

Today I have to go food shopping then must take it easy. This week is turning out even busier than I expected. Sadly, our neighbor passed away on Sunday. She had been in hospice for a week and passed in her sleep. The wake is tomorrow afternoon. Cait finally made her Drs appt and that is Thursday afternoon and of course, I am going with her. She cracks me up, still needs her Mamma

I hope that all of you have an incredible day!

Nancy- hope that your basement stays dry in this upcoming mess of rain.
That is great about your DS learning his way around the kitchen. hahaha!! I would love to have been able to read Luther's mind when you didn't go his normal route to get the picture of the geese.

Trudy- My FIL has the same issues intheFall with leaves. He will have his yard spotless and then everyone else's leaves end up in his yard.
Hope that your legs are stretched out and back to normal today. I felt it in my calves a bit yesterday but that made me happy. Nice to use my muscles again.

Rae- sending good thoughts to Darrell. Is he feeling any better after being on abx a bit?
we don't watch Colony, what is it about?
hahah!! I could never step on the leash and make Jaida stay. Ravyn, I could for sure- Jaida would knock me on my a**!!!!
Sorry to hear about the computer issues. It gets outta hand!
are you on Goodreads? I would love to follow you there if I don't already :D

The Princess wants to go outside, and I have to get in the shower to get to the supermarket before all of the annoying people do.

Good morning, ladies. Its raining here so I'm happy to stay indoors. I got Taz out last night before dinner, to the school yard behind us and he ran and ran, at warp speed. He really is losing his interest in most dogs. There was a young dog that wanted to run and play but after the initial smell/hello he wandered off and did his own thing. Other than playing with Ava, he pretty much ignores other dogs after the first few minutes of meeting, which is ok, but lets me know that he probably prefers our hikes and walks where he meets and says hello to other dogs but then we just carry on our way. Spending a lot of time at the dog park doesn't seem to do much for him anymore. So I think from now on I'll not spend more than about 1/2 hr at the dog park and we'll go hiking more. If it ever stops raining LOL. Looking ahead for the next 14 days it shows rain almost every day. I guess the plants will like it :)

Chris - are you getting exciting about getting the vehicle soon? Colony is a sci-fi show about alien takeover. Second season is just wrapping up, I think one more episode. I love it. It's not really so much about the aliens as it is about how society deals with an enemy takeover.

Sharon - Ugh...the smoke alarm. How frustrating. At least you are holed up with your computer.

I'm going to go check out the new challenges for the month and see what's going on. I'm caught up with work...can you believe it??? And I found out the part time client is taking a week off after Easter so I get a reduced work schedule that week. That'll be good b/c I need to get tax stuff done by the end of the month. I've been procrastinating too long.

I've got some leftover roast beef so need to figure out what to do with it for dinner tonight. I guess I'd better go check out pinterest. Have a great day, everyone.

Morning ladies... So nice to see the cherry blossoms out around the neighbourhood, but with the coming rains they might all get washed away  Not much going on today, I have to go to the post office and drop a fortune to mail a parcel off to Heather and Mason today. For the cost of the postage it should arrive there the next day instead of a week from now :mmph: Other than that I am doing a couple of pages for my sister and hitting the pool for some laps today.

Chris - So happy that there was no bad news with your parents yesterday! How wonderful that you will inherit your parents car! I am sorry to hear about your neighbour, what a wonderful way to pass though in your sleep, so peaceful! Hopefully your rain will not last too long and that you will not get major flooding! Good that your Gary got a new pump!!

Sharon - That must be so annoying for the smoke detector to keep going off like that! Good thing you could escape to a quiet room with your computer!

Rae - So nice to see you in here so early this morning! What a nice break from work, you must have been up early to have all your work done already! If you find a good roast beef recipe, please share!! Oh and did you ever get your bone stock made? I would love to know how it turned out! Taz is a happy dog to be hiking, I can't say as I blame him, so much nicer to be out on the trails than in the crowded doggy parks! We haven't done our taxes yet either, still waiting on one silly form from the bank, hopefully it arrives today! I have never done our taxes and Hubby wants me to tackle them this year, just so I know how to do it. No rain here yet, hopefully it bypasses us, the clouds look pretty high so far, but I am sure it will change lol.

Nancy - Good morning, are you out on your walk with Luther?? Hope you have a wonderful day!

Alright I need my coffee and also need to fill my water bottle again!! Hope to chat with Heather and Mason soon! Have a fabulous Tuesday everyone!!
