Good morning O-Fam! Hope all of you are enjoying this last day of April.
I wish the sun was out a bit because my brain is a bit foggy. Maybe it is just that the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. :cof2:
I was out of the house for the longest time in a while yesterday. And it was the first time I have worn jeans since before the surgery and OMG- that was a *mistake.* Being lazy for so long and eating so much junk caught up with me quickly. That has to stop.
My appt went fine although I am not entirely done. I mentioned that my ankle is still stiff and sore in spots so he had me stand and walk a bit. I have flat feet and I guess that is impacting the way my foot lands. I am getting some arch supports made which should help. When I was a kid, I had to wear orthopedic shoes and they called them "cookies." I thought it was neat to get cookies, but after I realized what they were, I wasn't all that amused. (Especially since I had to wear special shoes and all of the other little girls got to wear cute ones)
I went to my parents' for coffee and then my brother stopped in so we went to lunch together. He got the new Galaxy 10 (?) the one with 5 cameras. They were in Washington DC last week and the pictures that thing takes-- wow. If I won the lottery, that would be on my list of things to buy!
Gary was going to come with me food shopping but he threw his back out last night.
Have a fab day everyone!
