The sun is shining here, but it's still cold outside. Luckely I'm in so I can enjoy the warmth and see a nice sunshine coming in the room :mrgreen:
Did some paperwork this morning and I have to do some laundry today and alter a few old jeans for Wes so he has something to wear when he has his casts

nothing special here today : lunch break starting over here, so I'm going to fetch my colleagues and have lunch, and then back to work ! I'm a bit tired from the DST time change + week-end work, but I can't have a nap at the office ... my boss might not enjoy the joke LOL

Good morning everyone!
Oh man, I am just so needing a few extra hours in the day, but on the condition nthat they are only to be used for SCRAP related activities!!!!!! I am just so fried from the running. And I am off to another long day at the lyme dr for Cait. Doesn't it feel like I *just* went there??? It was 6 weeks ago for her and Scott, and I guess 2-3 weeks ago for Gary and I. This is why I can't get a "real" job... Lyme *is* my real job. But I see one HUGE problem. The money is going in wrong direction!!!! ound:
when I get home today, I have to write a Hardship Letter to a Lyme foundation that helps to pay for lab work. There is one lab that is top of the line but insurance plans won't cover it. Cait's last labs cost $405. If they have money and accept my application, I might be able to get up to 75% back. Its a one shot deal, and they usually accept only first time diagnotic labs, but this is a "re-diagnostic" since she relapsed.... so maybe I have a chance. I think if I write out my family's Lyme history, that will help too. Plus they do preferential acceptance for minors... so *fingers crossed* for some help.

Prayers and good thoughts requested for the cleaning client that I never got to clean for. This is the elderly woman that kept getting sick and rescheduling. She is in the hospital and is not doing well. Her daughter called and spoke to Gary yesterday. I feel so bad-- she is a really sweet lady and I would have loved to help her.

So that is about it here. I am off in a few minutes. I feel horrible that I have neglected my Cheery O stuff here the last week or so. I am trying to give love to all of my March Challenge LO's but I am still behind. And now I have a new Challenge up and I don't want to fall behind in that one too. AND I miss scrapping!!

Off to get ready for work- now that spring is here, everyone is showing up for their appts and I am slammed with paperwork. Hoping to hop back here after work, but time and energy will tell!

just a short fly-by today. gotta go to the cemetery to "visit" my mom and dad. my dad died 27 years ao today. for 27 years i have always taken a rose for him. since my mom passed away in 2011, i take one for her, too! i was hoping for at least some sunshine today, but it's not looking promising. gaaah! :rain: :smow:

so. not a cheery prospect for the day, but it's important not to forget them, i believe. my sister thinks i'm crazy. but since she's a Martian, i pay her no attention....

def NOT april fools...but they did change the date to tomorrow not today...so I get one more day with him...they are still not settled on the time either it will be 6am or 10:30am.....if its 6am he will have to call a cab...because waking the girls up at 430 is NOT an option LOL....and then trying to get them home and ready for school....yeah not gonna happen LOL...but if its 1030 I can take him to the airport...so we'll see.....trying to get him everything he needs and packed in 2 days=NOT FUN....ugh....

Chris--hope the foundation comes through for you. You are one tough cookie--having to go through this. I don't see how you do it.

I'm off to the hospital this morning to meet with the "care team" for my mother. We had an episode over the weekend when one of the staff members cut the compression draw strings on my mother's hip brace. What the heck!! Thankful that the orthopedic rep came by on Easter Sunday to "refit" the brace and put it back together. Yes--the staff even took it apart and it was all in pieces. I'm not a happy camper with that incident and the level of therapy she is receiving.

good morning - the sun is shining but the wind chills have the temp in the high 20s should get to low 40s today - way too cold for April! My Devils really have forgotten how to play hockey! Playing the way they are now there will be no playoffs for my team. And I must say if they play this way they do not deserve to be in the playoffs. Phylis so sorry to see Sid the Kid out again. As much as I do not like his play against my team he has more bad luck when it comes to injuries.

Chris good luck with the foundation application. If they just read your letter I am sure they will recognize your family as a perfect fit for helping out!

Phylis I think your leaving roses is a very loving way to remember your parents.

Good Morning everyone.. can't stay here too long this morning as another very long day a head of me. Put in a 13hr day at work yesterday, but we got pretty much everything counted, now today I will hopefully get the statements done that should have been done yesterday and then we check the variances on the count from yesterday. Uggghhhh did I tell you how much I hate doing inventory!! New owners were there, but do not seem like a very friendly bunch, did not even introduce themselves to anyone. Then stood around speaking french to each other and laughing and giggling to each other. Sorry to our french speaking friends here, but I think that is just RUDE!! Especially when they can speak perfectly good English!! Not a good way to start off our relationship with new owners, well perhaps most of us won't have to worry about it as we still will not know what will happen to us until Wednesday or Thursday. Would love to do personals and leave some love in the gallery, but its not going to happen today :sorry: gotta go and get out the door see you tomorrow hopefully :wave:

Happy Tuesday to everyone!!!!

I'm off and running full of caffeine today! Yesterday, I started a mini art quilt and I'm now in the embroidery stage. It's turning out a lot better than I even imagined! I love it when a project turns out great!! I hope to whip up a sewing machine cover for a friend this morning and then it's off to my "job" of monitoring at my kids' outside classes church. I just work for three hours Tues and Thurs, so I get to be the "good" monitor. I only have to shush study hall once in a while. I let the other monitor be the mean one!! lol!! It's perfect for me, the over-protective homeschooling mom who wants to know what her kids are doing every moment of the day!! Just kidding...sorta!! My older kids told me I was the liberal homeschooling mom (Chris, doesn't that crack you up????) because I let my kids watch/listen to what they want (within reason) and they can do their hair how they want. LOL!!!! And yet, when we grounded my middle child (emma) for not telling her dad that there wasn't going to be an adult at the movies until after she went, she said we were overprotective and overbearing!! LOL!!! It just really opens my eyes to how things were when I was her age!!! eeeeek!! Anyway, I'm hoping to keep up the "cool" monitor status!! LOL!!!

Kiliki: I have been thinking on bringing the avatar into the digi land forum, (have it on my FB) but then I would get confused not knowing whose thread am reading so I will personalise it, I think....

I had a HUGE argument with my daughter yesterday at 4am and still havent slept, so can't concentrate well to ansewr to each here, will try tomorrow, my brian doesnt work well usually, but sleepless is worse...
