Hey hey!! How are all of you today? I am not too bad, not bad at all. Yesterday went well. I think all of the sleeping I did over the weekend helped a lot. I didn't get anything much done here, but I worked so I guess that counts.:)

Today, I start the last 7 days of my radiation. I am getting "boosts" done, where they concentrate a higher dose of radiation to the scar area where the tumor was. Not sure if that is going to make my skin any worse or of the area around it will start to get better. Hoping for the best!

My other "excitement" for the day is to clean out my fridge. It is Garbage Day and with the bears coming out and about, it is always best to leave the food inside as long as possible. I am sure there are things buried in my fridge that I won't even recognize:help:

We have some heavy rains coming through the next few days, but nothing like the storms and tornados that hit the South. I hope that all of our members are ok.

Hope that all of you have a wonderful day!
MUAAAHHHHH!

Laurie- looks like we have the storms for garbage day today ;) Hope you got your scrapping done too!

Eva- I totally get what you are saying about seeing your child happy. Its like the credit card commercial-- "Priceless." I hope that you get all of your vacation planning done and get some really good deals.

Nancy- Micro-breweries are so fun! Haven't been to one in a long time, but the atmosphere is always so cool. Sounds like you had a great night out, and awesome to get to see the hawk so close.

jean- that sounds like a fantastic weekend! And another one coming up, good for you!!!

Trudy- How is your back today? Hope that your yoga stretched it out and it is feeling better.

Love and hugs!

Good morning it is cloudy in my part of NJ and as Chris has said we are expecting lots of rain over the next few days starting today. Well I have turned into a real DIY girl. My car was low on coolant, I got the hood opened of course I could not get the cap off. I was so mad but it turns out my car does not have a real radiator and so the coolant container is under pressure. So I had to wait for my son to come home and even he had a hard time opening it so I did not feel so bad. But after the pressure was released I could do it LOL. So now the level is again good. Went for a good walk with my girlfriend. It was really nice out. Watched hockey. More of the same today.

Chris so glad that your radiation is almost over! I have been wondering if your bears will be back. Those photos from last year were so cool but not in my backyard LOL.

Laurie that is a lot of rain! Hope you stay dry.

Phylis congrats to the Penguins though they made it pretty tense in the 3rd period.

Trudy how is your back doing?

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... cloudy and possible rain here today too! A good day to rest my back, as it is terribly sore still, but I will live I guess :becky: Enjoying my Outlander Dragonfly in Amber Audiobook. The woman narrating has such a great gift for her English, Scottish, French Accents!!

Chris - Hooray the last 7 days of treatment!!! You must be so anxious for it to be done!! Hoping you never have to experience it ever again!!! Hope your bears don't give you too much trouble or take your garbage cans for a walk LOL

Laurie - Hope you get that last page done for the challenges!! You are doing much better than myself for getting pages done that is for sure!! Sure hope the sun comes out for you today!!

Nancy - Well at least you tried to get coolant into your car!! Nice that your son is there to give you a hand. Hubby used to show me how to do all that stuff, even how to change the tire if I got a flat. But I have no desire to do any of that kind of work anymore!! :becky: Enjoy your hockey today! We are anxiously waiting for the next round of Bruins hockey, well DH is I am not so sure about me. Those Darn Montreal players really get my goat!! LOL but of course I will be watching! If you see blue smoke coming out of the West, you will know that it's me

Phylis - Hello my friend, hope all is well with you today!

Off to get some Advil and another cup of coffee, then I am not sure what to do with myself today. :bored: Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all!
Chris - great to hear that you're on your last week of radiation!
Trudy - sorry to hear your back is bad. Hope it improves soon.

I took my mom in for her gall bladder surgery yesterday and she is doing amazingly well. She said the discomfort from the operation is about a tenth of that of one of the gall bladder attacks. Keyhole surgery is amazing! She's staying with us for a few days now as she can't lift anything for a while.
Today I have to take the new foster cat in to the vet for a checkup and then off to my little bookkeeping job at the LSS this afternoon. Hope you all have a great day!

Just popping in to say hi!! Work is busy this week and then activities and getting ready for First Communion.... School concert tonight that I have to video tape. I hate it. I have to sit up in the bleachers surrounded by hundreds of parents and screaming children while the rest of the staff sits on the floor down below in the front row. I just wish that someone else would videotape. But I suppose that is the tech person's job. blerg....

Ok. Better go work now. I got a lot done when everyone in the building went over to the high school to practice, but now they're back. :'-( LOL

I hope to be able to pop in tomorrow!! Love you girls.

gosh it was sunny and warm, and I was inside all day. At the end of the day I had another dry needling session on my upper trapezious. He puts it in, does not move it, and today when he did my muscle contracted enough to bend the needle. He felt it was better than last week before he started the process. I think I may be getting better. Anyways- off to scrap my last layout!

Yeah, I know. I got tears in my eyes there and then. At first I was busy taking photos, I didn't realize J was in there until DH said, "I hope he don't panic in there" - "He's in there???!!" Total shock LOL

He was one happy boy that evening. He says it's the best weekend of his life.

I'm a bit worried he'll be disappointed this year. Speaking from experience, I know you rarely get the same fantastic feeling the 2nd time around.
