Why do you all put up with me?? I am a nut! Caitlyn texted me a pic of a guy she knows I think is really cute yesterday morning and told me to have a good day. I had to text her back to thank her for putting up with me. If *my* mom ever talked about hot guys with me, I'd be mortified!

I am off to my MIL's to work today even though she is lounging in St Maarten. And my BFF is on a Disney Cruise-- and neither one would take me! I am small enough to fit in a suitcase!!!

Do any of you have nice vacation plans soon that would take me along?

I kind of have vacation plans this summer. I might have even mentioned it here before. Scott's GF invited me (and Cait) to go with them to Wildwood again this year (Big NJ Shore town). And I am planning on going. I am trying to save up some money so I don't miss the week of of work. The house that they stay at is a friends so no cost there, then I'll just need $$ for food/boardwalk/beach passes.
*Then* I need to make sure that Scott and Leah don't break up between now and then. Eep!LOL

I have to say that since the kids are going towards more veggie meals- the grocery bill is staying about the same. I thought it would get much more expensive- but it isn't. I guess meat really racks it up......

Laurie- I am so happy to hear that the weekend went better. I feel so bad for you and for your son. It has to be so hard on him too- to have to move back home. I know that I think a lot about how *this* is not what I wanted my life to be like- not where I was supposed to be at 44 yo. It has to be even harder on a kid who is still idealistic about the world in general.
(not that this excuses any bad behavior/attitude at all )

Morning O fam- two days in a row- last day of work for me until next monday- woo hoo!! It will be a long one, but o so worth it. I also got my workout in and it will be sunny and 70 today- guess I will eat my lunch outside today!! Oh and I made a decision and ordered a new iphone 5 yesterday!

Good morning! My week started out very productively - go my laundry done, did the grocery shopping, made a great mac and cheese dinner cleaned the kitchen so my DH could come home and make food for a work party tomorrow, got more knitting done and got in a good walk with my girlfriend. Felt good. Now today I can just scrap and go to my next to last home hockey game. However was giantly bummed to wake up and find that my DH left the kitchen in shambles. Really annoyed.

Chris glad you got your tshirts and sounds like a lovely vacation going to the Jersey Shore.

Trudy I will gladly join you and your MG and cheer on the Boston Bruins. Your painting on top of that stool is just adorable! you rock girl! Have a great walk!

Just a quick hi from me, really busy at home, Ben is sick, changes at school (they're going to split the class of Luc and Nik, there are 40 kids now in one class and May 13th they will split the class and Luc and Nik will be seperated) and at the end of the week I'm going to help out to get the extra classroom clean and ready.

Morning, my O fam!!!

Sipping my wonderfully gorgeous cup of coffee while I wait for the kids to get downstairs so I can take them to their outside classes! It always sounds like we are homeschooling outside! LOL!! Today would be a great day for that!!!

Today I let Mr Gorgeous take the Mustang. He was going into downtown, so he'll get some good freeway fun in today! When I can't leave littlest (Lil) at home with him, I need more room, so it's the Excursion for me today...too many kids! (Carpooling with my bestie!) And painfully, I have to go fill the beast up with gas. Our prices are okay (since when was $3.50 okay? when CA is around $5!!!) but our tank is 42gallons!! That means $150 to fill the sucker! EEEEEk!!! So thankful for Mr Gorgeous and his work and his extra job!!!

Chris, I love the relationship you have with Cait!!!! Cora tweeted me a pic of Ryan Gosling a while back...it was epic!! our girlies are so awesome to us, huh? hugs!!

Laurie, you continue to inspire me!!!! Enjoy your time off!!! how fun is that???

Nancy, ohhhhhh Mr Gorgeous bought the song Mustang Sally and then proceeded to tell me it was about a guy who bought his love a mustang and she took off and wouldn't stop to be with him...I told Mr G that was appropriate!!!! LOL!!! Enjoy your hockey today!!!

Good morning! I have been meaning to get into the forums more and life seems to have other plans for me.
My hubby had thrown his back out at Easter and just when he was starting to get better, my oldest son came down with some virus that lasted 9 days (we are still working hard to get him back caught up).
My youngest, just had his 3rd birthday party and I really "rocked" the Cars theme
My 7 yo is need my help today to make a dinosaur diorama (and finish her dinosaur paper).
Now, I am planning my husband's boss' retirement party table decoration - 19 tables and 150 guests!
Also, today, I am trying to price tag and prepare my 4 kids outgrown toys and clothes to put in a consignment sale coming up in a little over a week (we are talking hundreds of outfits!).
Plus, my mom is needing to move out of her house after almost 30 years and memories, so I making multiple trips down to her house to help her work through it.
It's no wonder that I haven't had much time to scrapbook!
Must . . .make . . .time . . .to . . .SCRAP!

Morning "O" friends... Got all of my :washing: done and got in a really good walk yesterday, hopefully I can get another one in today! Off to the Drug Store to refill a prescription and get some more ink for my printer, that is the excitement for the day! :bored: But I am happy to be home and not working!!

Chris - I really should look into trying to sell some of my painting on Etsy, but I don't have the first clue how to get started with something like that. But it wouldn't hurt to try I guess?? :noidea: Hope you get all the money you need saved up for your trip to the Jersey Shore, it sounds like fun!! No real vacation plans for us this summer, we are fortunate to have lots of lakefront property on both sides of the family to enjoy whenever we want. Planning my trip to Ontario to help out with the baby soon, but I don't know if you could call that a vacation, as I am sure I will be sleep deprived, but will have lots of warm, sweet smelling cuddles and loving to make up for that!!

Laurie - Enjoy your outside lunch today, nice warm sunny weather for you, hooray!! I am also jealous for your IPhone 5 I want one too, I have the 4 and soon it will be time for an upgrade with my plan, but not sure I can afford one :mmph: better get back to work soon! Or not!! LOL

Meagan - Well no wonder you don't have any time to scrap girl!! You are one very busy lady!! Hope you get it all done and then finally find some time to do some scrapping!! Glad you could join us here in the Chatter forum!!

Well better take care of the growling in my stomach and then head out for my walk, hope to be able to get a page or two done today also. I have two more painting project to work on also. Hope everyone enjoys the day and that it is a creative one! :wave:

Ow I hope you can go on that vacation Chris, that would be great!
We have no plans or money for vacation, I just hope the weather is nice during the summer holiday so we can take the kids to the playground an maybe have a few bike trips with picknick's.

Ow Trudy what a fantastic painting you made on that stool, love it!

Sally and Trudy; Luc and Nik are fine with being seperated, they split the class on tuesday already for a while and I told them it would be everyday after vacation. They are happy they will be in smaller classes, especially Nik has trouble with all the noise in class now. I think it will do him good not to depend on Luc so much anymore and for Luc to be able to go his own way a bit more.
