I need some sleep! Or :cof2:
Most likely I will be doing the latter, not the former.
What a long few days for me. Saturday was the party, on Sunday Cait and I stayed at my ILs and then yesterday was the hearing for Cait's testimony.
Party was nice. IL's was nice. Cait and I headed down for dinner and my niece met up with us. She is going to be 18 next week. Times flies! She and Caitlyn are very close even if they don't get to see each other often. It is one of the great things about social media. Juliet has 3 rats that she brought to dinner too. After meeting Caitlyn's rats, she really loved them. She works at a wildlife rescue and one of the animals needed to be fed a rat but she took it home and ended up keeping it. (Campbells. We are all the same! LOL) Then she got two more after hearing Cait's advice on needing more than one rat since they are social. I enjoyed watching the two girls laugh and talk rat-parenting.
We had to be in Newark at 9 am yesterday. Nancy- would you say that Newark is the largest city in New Jersey?
Trenton (our state capital) might be bigger but I think Newark is larger. It should have taken a half hour to get there in "normal" traffic. No such thing as normal traffic in NJ and when you add in torrential rain and flooding, it took us over an hour to get there. We lucked out since we got there before almost everyone else. A car accident happened in the right lane of the highway literally as we were passing in the middle lane. Anyone behind us was in trouble. I am so happy that my ILs took us in. I would have had a heart attack if I had to drive in that. I am not used to city driving or large highway driving anymore.
There were 4 people testifying before Cait and I was getting worried that they weren't going to get to her at all, especially since even the judge was an hour late. But they were able to finish with her testimony and she doesn't have to go back!!! Whew!!!!!!!! Her subpoena was for Monday and Friday but they are all done with Caitlyn so that was it. Thank goodness!
We didn't get back here until 5 pm and Gary picked up a pizza for dinner. But dammit-- he insists on giving the dogs pizza crust. R and J are fine eating small amounts of people food but that gives W diarrhea. I tell him alk of the time that she has a sensitive stomach. :rollpin: She started whining at 3 am to go outside and I have been awake ever since. I fee lbad for W, you can tell that she has to *go* but I really didn't want to go outside at 3 am. I thought that maybe I would see if there were any money-off deals through the Shop from Home so I could food shop in my pajamas, but there weren't any. So now I need to go food shopping and maybe take Cait to the eye Dr if Gary can't. That is at 3.30 so I can't even come home and take a nap. *grumble grumble*
So yup. I think it will be all:cof2: day long!
