Happy Tuesday! Yes, it is the early morning coffee-faery here today.
Up early for the kids' Lyme dr. Long day ahead.... but it hopefully will be lots better than yesterday.
Yesterday i decided that I hate health insurance companies more than just about anything else on Earth.
Gary tried to refill his Rx for his pump supplies. He is Type 1 diabetic and have been on an infusion pump for 12 years. NJ MEdicaid Plan D no longer covers any durable medical equipment- including pump supplies, blood meters and test strips.
So can someone explain to me- how they think a person who is on Medicaid (by definition- low income/low assets) afford to pay for these items THAT KEEP THEM ALIVE!!!?????
Between Gary and I, we must have been on the phone for hours- trying to get through to *someone* who can help.
No luck anywhere.
This is just nuts.
I am seriously losing faith- we have tried so hard all our lives to do the right things, to be good people. And at just about every turn, we have hit roadblocks.
You guys have been hearing me b****-- is it just me, or has it been crazy-difficult?
There has been good- like our dr on Friday seemed very good. That we are able to get some medical assistance-That Gary is almost over the w/d's. That my kids just make my world a better place.
That I have my O-Fam!
Bah.... no reason to bring y'all sucked down with me.
As always my praying friends-- I can always use a good thought, and they are always appreciated.
Not sure if I ever expressed how I feel about God, so to speak, but I do believe in a "Ultimate Energy/Being" -- "The All" so IMHO- all prayers lead the the same place. But if you have a direct line--- please, feel free!!!!
xoxoxoxo
Hi Linda and Sandra and ME!
Sara- yay! GLad that at least the end of the weekend rocked good for you! Family is awesome. Did you have fun shopping?
Kristin, how have you been feeling since the food poisoning?
I am so green with envy on your weather!! Where doo you live? I want so badly to get outside. Woot on your roses, I hear that they are hard to grow! Morning glories- nope- you can't kill them, but be warned that can take over an area quickly -- have something that thay can "twine" on- I use fishing line strung across my porch. And you know to save the seeds at the end of thre season so you can replant next year?
Oh, gotta get the kids up- BRB!
