Happy, happy Tuesday! How are the Oooos all doing today? I am good! I slept pretty well last night, I remember that I had a few strange dreams but that means I was asleep. *winks* I bet that being outside in the fresh air helped a lot. It felt amazing to be in the sun. It was still a bit chilly for my liking but we did get to near 60* I was really happy to see that some of the black-eyed Susans made it. They are scraggly ATM but now that they will get some sun they should perk up.
I also uncovered my rosemary, lavender, and sage plants. I was researching when it might be a good time to move them since they are outgrowing the bed that they are in. I always buy herbs as Perrenials (other than basil) and I was surprised that rosemary is only considered to be Perrenial in Zones 7-11. (I am in 6) My rosemary plants usually make it through some but not all winters and I guess I know why. I don't know if this one is going to make it, half of it looks dead and half of it still has flexible stems. I have a cutting that I brought inside over the winter that made it through. So far. *knocks wood* Now I have to decide if I want to move it into the ground or a bigger pot... The sage plant is *huge* and already has new leaves all over. Yay!!!

Great news about the taxes-- they are all done, mine and Gary's are files/mailed. Cait just needs to sign hers and figure out how she is going to pay the bill. She has a checking acct but no checks.

It is raining again today and I have to run errands and catch up on some housework. Have fun today!

@tanteva Hahaha!!! Sorry that your laundry is piled up that much! Hope you put a dent in it at least.

@taxed4ever Snow!!! Argh!! Thank goodness it didn't stick to the ground. That is fab news that your Gary is eating well and losing weight, I know you will keep him on track. :D
Craft rooms are supposed to be messy, it means that you are being creative! LOL! I don't miss having to wear stockings and dresses although being a PreK teacher I didn't have to do that very often in my career. I am much better about the whole Disney sadness now but when the kids were little it was really hard. We would start saving the day after we got back from the last trip. The goal was to go every other year but life had other plans. What can you do? *shrugs and smiles* I hope that someday Heather can bring the boys!

@bcgal00 Did you pick out a new sofa bed?

@Cherylndesigns It has to be so hard to watch and wonder about the kittens- to try and not get attached (ha). You are doing what you can, keeping them warm and in a safe spot, Not much else you can do...
I have a good, if old, photo scanner that does negatives, slides, all of it. I used that when my mom found a bunch of negatives that my grandpa had taken. It is a matter of me finding the mental energy to do it. And then doing it. heh
(this is where I kick myself- all of the days that I was bored and wasted time online I could have been working on this)
The scan program you use sounds really cool- do you have to have a good camera on your cellphone? My phone is olllllllld.

@LSlycord That is a great feeling about being productive!! IKWYM, it was how I felt the other day when I described myself as "useful."
*bites tongue* No. My mom has not made the appt with the pacemaker dr. She has been really sick with a cold and finally felt better yesterday. IMHO, she could have called to make an appt but used this cold to procrastinate.
I love hearing about your plants! We used to grow jalapeno and serrano peppers. We have three blueberry bushes but never get any berries- the birds eat them before they ripen and when we covered them with screens they didn't get enough sun. But they look pretty!

HAGD!! xoxo

Good morning everyone, it is grey and misty here, but at least it's not snowing! I really don't know why I try to plan on doing certain things everyday, it seems like something always happens to keep me from actually completing my tasks LOL. I ran to Staples to get some more laminating pages and finished off sorting and storing my Lavinia Stamps. I put them in a binder with a stamped image on copy paper and laminated those, then placed that inside a cover sheet and placed the co-ordinating stamp on the laminated sheet. Its a great way to keep them all organized. I hardly did any commenting and I never got a page started with the heron rookery photos that I have. I ended up going to the pool, because I wanted to test out swimming without my waterproof mp4 player. The last few times I have gone to the pool I end up with a ton of water in my ears and then my ears are plugged all day long. So thinking that it must be the earplugs not fitting right I did a swim without the music and used my good earplugs instead. Sadly I was plugged up all day again, so the water is getting in through my nose I guess ??? I might have to stop going to the pool, my ears are plugged up and I am afraid I will get a bad infection if I keep this up. I already have tinnitus and this is not helping it at all. WAAAAAA I don't want to give up swimming!! I have tried using a nose plug before, but it freaks me out not being able to breath out of my nose. I guess I will have to start looking at another form of exercise. So I hope to get out for a nice walk today in between periods of rain and tomorrow's forecast has changed to sunshine and warmer temps, so it should be good for my hike on Wednesday. So I am bound and determined to get my page at least started today and to do a lot of commenting in the gallery. I need to get some baking done for DH's breakfasts and that's about all I have for my day today. My goodness I have rambled on and on haven't I LOL!!

@faerywings - It makes me happy that you got to be outside and got in some dirt therapy! It must have been what you needed, so nice that you got a good nights sleep! You must be happy to know that you haven't lost your Black Eyed Susans! Always great to see the plants come back after such a bad winter! I always have good intentions on starting some herbs, but it never happens, not sure just where I would put them LOL. We are considered to be in Zone 8, but the last few years, its been such crazy weather I wonder if that is right anymore? I bet you are glad to have everyone's taxes all finished! Perhaps Cait could get a money order or something to pay for her taxes? It's funny how hardly anyone uses cheques anymore and funny how we both spell cheques differently LOL. We file our taxes online, so there is no paper involved and if we have to pay it just comes right out of our bank accounts. Happily this year we both got a refund!!

Ok DD is calling so I will come back later to finish personals. CYL!!

Good afternoon my lovely OOOOO's.

Getting a slow start today - I've just been messing around and then I turned on the TV! NYC again! It's always something!

Chris @faerywings Adrienne is pushing me to bond with the kitties and I just can't bring myself to. I shared with Ava yesterday that I was worried about their size. They're way too tiny for their age. Stormie is a stray after all and we have no idea where's she's been. I just don't have a good feeling. Hope I'm wrong! The continual crying bothers me, too.

I spent a long time outside yesterday too and pulled a ton of weeds. It felt SO good to be out there. We've had rain, so the weeds came out easily. It's 76 right now and I'm going to go back out shortly.

Chris @faerywings great news that some of your herbs are coming back up!! Some of mine are, too. Everything in our front gardens looks great except one shrub - I don't think it made it. Even the Hydrangeas are coming up - I'm SO happy to see that! The Zebra grass is coming up green at the bottom, too. I love spring!
''
Trudy @taxed4ever so sorry you're having ear problems. That's one reason I could never swim very much - ear problems - I could not put my face or head in the water. I've had Tinnitus too - it's crazy - I wear air pods to sleep with and listen to music while I fall asleep, then it automatically shuts off after a couple of hours.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!!

Hello! I've been hunkered down just working and waiting for my house to sell ... I hate 'limbo' times.

giphy.gif

Despite the fact we may have to move out of the apartment we are in and back into the house, I've been printing and hanging some layouts around the place and having a spring clean (even though it's autumn here!) which always helps when I am stressed. The state of the world is not helping :-(

@faerywings your gardening sounds very productive and your herb garden must be amazing. Congrats on passing the tax hurdle!

@bcgal00 Hope you found a replacement sofa bed you love and you are enjoying the new place :)

@taxed4ever blocked up ears are so annoying, hope you find a solution.

@Cherylndesigns hope the kittens are OK :-(

Lynn @Lynn Grieveson I'm not good at "limbo" either. We were "in limbo" for several months while our new house was being finished. We lived in a little 2 bedroom/1bath brick (old) house. It was hard to get excited about anything because I knew we were moving again. I tried to make it "homey" while we were there, though.

Yes, I'm hoping that the kitties are healthy.

Busy, busy, busy.... Left the house before 9AM and got to the cable company shortly after they opened. I turned in the cable TV boxes and controls so the cable TV cord is officially cut! Still have the internet and phone service. Then over to Home Depot to pick up another lamp kit (socket, cord, and harp) as the one I put on my BR lamp was defective.... it would not click to each of the 3 settings and would take about 6 clicks before it would finally turn off!!! I was afraid to keep it plugged in so have been without 2 lamps in there for over a month. Then a stop at WM to get some reflux meds and found the stackable bins (for the pantry) I have been looking for and found some black sweatpants in my size on sale! It was well worth driving the 60 miles round trip through the high winds and blowing dirt (45 - 50 mph) and cold (barely up to 50*) today. Yes, the cold front has blown in and will be even colder tomorrow! Guess I will be wearing my new sweatpants/top tomorrow!

Running behind as I have some LOs that need to be posted this afternoon. Plus have 2 others that need to be finished and posted soon. So it is another short in and out. Know I am thinking about all of you.

I've been scrapping like crazy the last few days. Being a "free agent" means I have lots of time to make challenges all over the place. Having fun & are super inspired. Learning new tricks.

Trying to decide what I will cook for Easter. Even really IF I should even bother to cook anything special. I mean... it's all about candy anyway. I always found Easter boring anyway. You know me ... I hate all holidays. LOL

Maybe I'll make a cheesecake. If I can find a good recipe.

What do YOU cook for Easter?

Good afternoon, ladies. Got the new sleeper sofa delivered today and Jen's new microwave. The under the counter mount for it will be installed on the wkend. I spent the morning unpacking and organizing clothes. I ordered another coat rack for the dressing room. It's all starting to come together :)

We're getting some used storage shelves today from marketplace for the garage to store surplus costco food supplies.

I still have not found my heating pad. Hopefully I didn't leave it at the hotel. If I don't find it soon I'll order another one.

Put the new bird feeding station in the yard. Hopefully the birds discover it soon.

@faerywings How nice that you got the taxes done. We have til June but don't want to wait that long.
@taxed4ever That sucks about the swimming. Hope you get plugs that work better or find another exercise you enjoy just as much.
@Lynn Grieveson Hope it sells soon. Sending you good vibes and luck.
@BrightEyes Enjoy the new sweatpants. I have yoga pants and sweat pants that I love, from Reitmans and Northern Reflections, I don't know if you get that store there.

I'm getting a coffee and getting back to some unpacking before stopping for dinner.

Ok. Popping in here even though it is really Thursday...oops make that Wednesday. Shaun is on his way to the outpatient procedure...the urologist wanted him checked in at 6 for an 8:30 procedure. Brian is taking him. Sydney asked why he needed to be there so early. I told her that is how the doctor likes it and the doctor is boss. Hopefully they will find something.

@faerywings glad that you are able to see your plants coming back. That is such a good feeling. Do you cook with sage much? I like the flavor but I only use it at Thanksgiving. I should change that. Glad that taxes are done...and I laughed about the checks...my kids are in the same boat.

@taxed4ever that makes me so sad to hear about your swimming. Maybe take a break and then try it again? I know that it makes you happy. But surely we are in the season for walking now.

@Cherylndesigns sounds like a great day to be outside. We are having that kind of weather right now and I love it.

@Lynn Grieveson I loved your picture of the lady in limbo. I need stability. But it seems that as soon as I have stability, I create some limbo because I'm bored. I am a bit unbalanced I think. Now, where is that ROFL emoji when I need it?

@BrightEyes I am in awe of all that you get done! You are my role model!

@tanteva so glad that you are inspired to scrap again. What do I cook for Easter? Ham, deviled eggs, orange jello salad, corn pudding, rolls, strawberry butter, mashed potatoes and gravy and dessert is a chocolate chip cheesecake.

@bcgal00 do you ever stop and think, "In a few weeks, I'll be done with this unpacking and organizing and then, I'll be retired with time on my hands to explore this new area?" Hoping that the birds show up at the feeder soon.

Hugs to all.
