GOOD VERY EARLY MORNING LADIES!!!!

Well, my little Jaiden spent the night again and alas...she had kept me up all night!!! Little bugger!!!! She passed out on the sofa around 7 pm...she was so tired...I carried her to bed....I went to bed at 11 and around 12 she woke up...I took her a little juice and she layed back down...well, over the next two and half hours, she was up and down and making all kinds of noise....I put her back to bed about 10 times....finally at around 2:30, I put her back and told her if she got up again, I would spank her bottom...I have not heard her again...but guess who has not been to sleep???? YEP...ME!!! OMG...I am going to be dying in a little while!!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF COFFEE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I have taken advantage of the last hour in the gallery!! YAY!!!! because the way things have been here, I have had NO time to get to the gallery....THAT SUCKS TOO!!!!

Chris...so how was Scott's appt?? GREAT I HOPE!!!! and yay for quiet weekends....I NEED ONE OF THOSE, it's been a while for me!!!! There has been some kind of "partyish" thing at my house the last 4 weekends...AACCKKK!!!!! I saw a couple of those scrap pages a little while ago...I will have to go look for the rest of them!!

LindaS...yes...you did spend time in the gallery..thanks for all that love sweetie!!! and WOOOOT for the short work week!!!! OH AND YAY FOR PSE9!!! I don't use PSE...but I hear it's great!!!!

ME...Oh yay...Mom's cooking....bummer...I am doing all the cooking now!! I won't let my Mom do it anymore...it's too hard on her to stand on her feet that much...she gets mad at me every year..but she gets over it....thanks for letting me know about the daycare....it's just frustrating to me...I DO NOT charge her when he isn't here....but that is going to have to change (at least if it's not scheduled)

Trudy....see we are sisters...we love our Honda's!! I have a CRV....I could not imagine driving anything but a Honda!!! But then I did work there for 10 years...so guess I just have it drilled in!! THAT SUCKS about all the snow already!!! I am just praying we do not get 47" again this year!! YIKES that's way too much snow!!!!

Sally...firstly, I will be praying for you and the family about your MG's job!! I know this is hard on you!!!! ((HUGS)) OOOH and you go girl getting all that work done on those advent calendars!!!!! Proud of you!!!!! and LMAO about YOUR CAMPAIGN!!! :rofl:

Oooh Meg....I would probably have moved my stuff back to the proper place and then loudly annouced....DO NOT TOUCH MY STUFF!!! But that is me...and really that would not happen here, because the kitchen is my domain...always has been...no one is allowed to move anything in there!!! and WOW about the shoes....You cut it close....and knowing me...I would have just ended up doing it barefoot...cause I would not stress the night before that way!!! POOR DEAR!!!! You did not say...did you find some??? HAHA!!
Wow...that is terrible about the shop!!! That designer needs to see what she can do to take action against them!!

Laurie....I had to laugh out loud at the "fire 425" story!!! :pound: sorry not laughing at you, but the silly thought that someone might put down to fire someone that far in the future on the calendar so they might not forget to do it!!! But anyways, glad to hear that was not what it was!!!!! Once again, you are my excercising hero!!!

Katrina....YAY for finishing the exam...I am sure you did great!! and I see you figured out how to add a blinkie!!
 
Well, I've sent off quite a few apps to some shops... I got to see the emails between the designer & the owner... I was in shock for a good hour. After the designer threatened major legal action, it looks like most of the stuff has been removed. I ended up immediately deleting EVERYTHING of mine from their server & cart listings. I was going to wait, but after talking to another designer who is also having issues -- I realized I can't risk my stuff getting hijacked by an apparently very unstable person. Plus my MIL was probably going to put a gun to my head if I didn't delete everything ASAP!

I have two appraisals in six hours... still zero sleep... Jeff just now pulled up from work. He had a pretty hellish day at work too. I'm so glad it's our weekend!!!
 
Hi ladies.... not in a very chatty mood today. we got some bad bad news in our family yesterday. I am feeling sick from it. heartbroken.

I am not sure if I am going to throw myself into the O to keep my brain working or I am going to need to hibernate for a while.
Physically- we are all fine. Emotionally, not so much.

Anyway- hope that you are all good.

Nana Linda, I sure hope that you are sleeping now! :-) You are such a good grandmother/mother/daughter. When do you start your cooking. I'm going to skip my nephew's basketball game so that I can grocery shop tonight and probably make some of the pies (pumpkin and chocolate pecan). I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

Meg, glad that you got things out of that shop. And hope you got some sleep!
Meg, I hope that you were able to get some sleep as well. No sleep is HARD!
 
My computer is acting up and it is just a year old. SO I am in the middle of defraging it and really shouldn't be on here. Why do we need 3 copies of our layouts? the pse copy is to fix it, use it as template etc, the low resolution/smaller size is to post in the gallery. Can you print the smaller size or is it better to print the original size? Is that why we keep the third jpeg? It is taking up a lot of space on my computer. I will eventually get a hard drive and won't have to worry about it.
 
Meg how horrible!!! I would send evil nasty letters to her and scare her into stopping! No not really. I sure wish I had an answer for you. I would definitely try to contact the blog owner and then contact the designer herself.

Linda-- oh sleepless nights. Sorry to hear she was up so much. I definitely do not miss those days. But at least you got some time in the galeries! As for calling day care before you drop your child off... I have never sent mine to day care, but duh, of course you would call. Isn't it a rule? Some people!

Sally-- Yay for DH getting 3 jobs!!!! And he gets to be home for Christmas!

ME: I wish my mom was helping cook. I miss Thanksgiving with my family. I have a HUGE family. My mom is from a family of 9 and dad is from a family of 5. They've all had at least 2 kids and their kids have now had kids! We used to do thanksgiving at my grandma's old house. All the sisters and my grandma would be in the kitchen cooking, my cousins and I would be upstairs playing, and the guys were always parked in front of the tv. Ah good times!
 
Hi ladies, happy Tuesday!! Not much new going on here. I took my boy for a breakfast treat this morning - bagels at Einstein's. He loves going to the bagel shop, and his preggo mommy is only too happy to indulge - I love my bagels too!

Linda - I have had nights like that!!

Linda - chocolate pecan pie?? Can you share the recipe? Sounds so divine.

Today I am on a mission...a scrapping mission! I have not scrapped in eons and am dying from withdrawl! So I am putting the world on hold to do a layout or two (or fifty!! *lol* I wish!)

Linda - Good Morning Sunshine thanks for having the coffee ready! Had to laugh about Jaiden....reminds me of Nick when he was little. Hope you get to nap sometime today.

Meg - Wow people never cease to amaze me....I cannot believe that people still blatantly do piracy. It's shameful and makes me sick to my stomach!

Katrina - the full size 3600px by 3600px (12"x12") one is the one you need to print from. The 600px x 600px size is only for web use. If you attempt to print this the resolution would be horrible (all blurry). I always delete the 600x600 after I post as well as as convert the .psd file into a .jpeg once I am 100% sure I don't want to make changes. This saves a lot of room :) Good luck with your computer!!

ME!! Awww so glad you had some special time with your little man!! Sounds like fun!

Okay so as of right now....I am in the process of making cupcakes for my son's class tomorrow that look like turkeys!! *lol* I cannot wait to see how they turn out! I hope they don't look silly! Wish me luck!

Now I am off.....scrapping time!!!

Meg - Oh my it's terrible what has happened with your designs, I hope that you get tons of offers from new sites (I know you will!!) Sorry your hubby had a bad shift, that makes for a grumpy man!

Its time for me to run off to work -- but hooray!!! I have a shop offer in my inbox!!! I'm going to wait until this evening or tomorrow before accepting anything, but it feels good to know that I don't suck!

Knowing that this shop wants me definitely lifts my spirits, I got word that my previous shop owner is now spreading smack about me and the other designer, probably in hopes that we wont be welcome in dif shops. Ugh, I'm washing my hands of it!

Eeek, I haven't even brushed my hair and I have to be at work in a few minutes!!
 
AHH!! Today has been such a good day!!!!!!! I can't believe all the good news -- we have so much more to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving! & my best friend is coming on as Director of Marketing for Jeff's business until she gets a real job, LOL, so that takes a lot of stress off me trying to manage everything.

I was at work all day with ZERO calories in my body -- I was running so late all I had time for was half of cup of tea with honey!!! Then when it came time to break for lunch, I had a gall bladder attack.
So my hubby is getting me potato soup (I LOVE the safeway deli potato soup) and some blackberry wine for dessert since it's too cold for any other celebratory drinks, and I'm allergic to regular wine!

My vanilla beans got here today -- and I managed to buy a giant thing of vodka and canning jars yesterday (I couldn't find any anywhere for weeks!) -- so if I'm feeling up to it/have time for it -- I'm going to be making vanilla extract!!!!!!!!!!!!! I might even make some almond extract if I can get Jeff to figure out my food processor, LOL!

My BIL is driving in tonight from Long Beach, earlier than we planned, so it's a nice surprise! We invited him and his girlfriend to go with us to Bass Lake tomorrow to see the snow, so we'll see if they join us.

I'll come back after dinner for personals! I love you ladies SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
 
First of: Chris BIG hugs to you hon! I sure hope you will all be able to deal with whatever it is; wishing you all the strength needed!

Meg congrats many times over! Wow you've had wonderful news! Mind PM-ing me the name of the designer you mean since I am guest CT-ing for one of the designers there? If it is the same one I will immediately seize to do that!

Linda: I sure hope you were able to catch up on your sleep hon!

ME: I think I need to have Thanksgiving dinner at your house if Mom is cooking! Mom's always are amazing cooks LOL

Trudy: I'm so sorry to read your jaw still is not getting any better. I can't imagine what you're going through. Big hugs to you too. And I hope you won't get snowed in!!

LindaS: No personals from you today so I am just wishing you a wonderful day :)

Now I finally have some time to stop in and catch up. We had a horrific week! We had to take a load to Portland, OR which was fine, but on the way back to Laredo, TX we first hit snow on Cabbage (mountains between Pendleton and Baker City on I-84 in OR), then more snow in Idaho, snow in Utah, then they shut the interstates down so we had to wait til daylight before moving on. Jeez I was SOOOO happy when we finally got out of all that white mess! I HATE driving in it. There were so many wrecks especially in Idaho it was just plain scary. Especially car drivers (sorry!) a lot of them anyway, have no clue how to drive in that weather. They are running on eachother's bumpers and speeding as if they're on dry summer roads. And then when they have to hit the brakes, there they go flying into the ditch. I seriously lost count how many I saw go in front of me. :frusty:

So now we're in Laredo where it is in the 80s!! Yay for warm weather! Next we're going to Alachua, FL where it's warm also so I am very thankful for that!! :cheer2: Since freight is very slow this week we're thinking of dropping the load @ Wal-Mart early and go home for 2 days for Thanksgiving since there's no point in sitting in a truck stop instead and it's more fun :D

Also I was accepted in the CT for Studio Q! I am so excited about that! I love her kits so I have been scrapping up a storm with those.
Other than that not much news but I hope you're all doing okay and have a fantastic Thanksgiving my wonderful digi-friends! ::grouphug
