So, what's going on in my world? Too much. but as of this morning, i missed taking the trash cans out to the curb in time for the trashman. Dangit all. In this 100+ degree weather, it sooooooo not going to smell like roses on the side of my house.....

I had to call and confirm Alyx's enrollment today and the woman said, "oh yes, in 5th grade right?" I totally felt like:faint: I mean, intellectually I knew he was going to 5th grade this year, but man, this just made it so real. My baby is growing up!

So what's up with y'all today?

I'm doing some exciting laundry and cooking in the crockpot (roast) and I'm working on a project for this stOre I know.8)

My kids are out of school! Yes! Though, I hope they decide to do college someday. My son, I doubt, but my daughter is thinking seriously about junior college next semester.

It's gonna be hot here too.

Good morning everyone!

WOW I thought it was hot here at 90 degrees - well it is for Vancouver Island - we broke a record for NO rain in July - Not good - over 400 forest fires in British Columbia!

Our rubbish day too - but DH who's back after 2 months abroad - took them out this morning - oh, it's good to have him back - and he makes the best coffee - so many reasons to love the guy

Vicki, enjoy every moment you can with Alyx - because you are so right children grow up far too quickly -

Me, I'm playing catch-up - going to try to get wk 31 of 52 layout done - thanks to a special lady's fab kit will be fun.

So many wonderful layouts in the gallery one doesn't know where to begin spreading love - that I'll do this evening -

My world is a happy place - hubby home, gallery up, forum working, goodies in the shop - what else does one need eh?

Ohhh I know about that trash smell! We did that once and I swore I would never do it again. It was YUCKY!!!

Awwww 5th grade Where did the time go?

Things here are hot and humid - nothing going on here but some redecorating & getting ready for school!

Had to run errands today....trying to get things together to leave this weekend. Did I mention I am over the moon to go on vaca?? Okay you can :tape2: if you want...sorry!!

Okay...I am excited that I am going to be meeting Sally IRL on Friday!! The babies have to go with me...so my Mom is going to ride with me...guess Sal is getting the whole family!! HAHA!!! Well, that's how it is with us!!! She lucky I don't have a VAN....Traci and her kids would probably be riding too!!

Then I am just as excited to be BEACHING with Clara!! Really...what good thing did I do to deserve all this??

Okay....there are some pots and pans calling my name...maybe a microwave..:biggrin: almost 5:30 and still have no idea what's for dinner!!

I agree...the heat is awful! Need to run the kids to the library...but so hot and humid I hate to leave the air conditioned house.
