CHEERY O
Hello hello!
I have a big pot of coffee here, ready for anyone who needs an extra cup. Or two. Or twenty.
:coffeedrinker: :coffeedrinker::coffeedrinker:
I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. It was cold and dark, and nope, I didn't want to get up. I had to do my countdown- 5-4-3-2-1-.... and roll! I shudder to think of how much worse it's going to get. I mean, it is technically *still* summer! :bawling:

Did I get everything done that I needed to yesterday? I think so. I finished my Week 1 AJ page and did another LO for a new mini-kit of Foxeysquirrel's.
The highlight of my day was sitting outside watching the animals scarf down birdseed and peanuts. I had just let the dogs out and got scared to death when I noticed Gary sitting on the patio. I had no idea he was out there and got startled. I sat with him for quite a while and snapped a couple pics of the birds but LMBO over the chipmunks:

The cheeks! And they kept going, shoving more food in them until the peanuts couldn't fit all of the way in. My phone's camera is OK but not great, so I dragged my DSLR out of the closet and charged the battery. I would love to get a few more photos of the birds and animals today. It is supposed to be sunny, but ATM, it's very smoky. There is another wildfire on the other side of my town, so the haze is bad. We desperately need rain. I think it has rained only once or twice since July.

That's my big plan for today. The other thing I need to do is prep for the field trip next week.

Have a fantastic day!

Oh, Hi, good *yawn* morning
need coffee
Dog is lucky she's cute. I dont know what she ate but ugh she was up every hour from midnight to 4 a.m. to poo. The down side to being mom, we know when something is right and wake up. Hubs slept through it all. So tired. Today is the first full Wednesday of cooking and everything too. Going to be a long day when I started out tired.
Send coffee!! Oooohhh it beeped. Its done brewing! Off to get coffeee
Have a wonderful day.
Here's some more:

Jaida had a bad tummy yesterday, too. Every once in a while, her stomach just rumbles all day long and the vomiting and diarrhea-- ughhhh. It usually only lasts the one day. Whew! Cracked me up yesterday when I saw Whisky eating Jaida's breakfast. Usually, J eats all of hers quickly and Whisky is the grazer. J will steal W's bowl from her spot with the food in it, drag it next to her bowl, and then finish it off. Since J wasn't eating her breakfast, W must have decided it was fair game. :p
How is your baby girl today? Better? And how about you, were you able to get through your day ok?

The nacho sauce turned out great. I don't know how to describe it but the flavors all come together nicely and it was a good dip for my nachos, I will use it for a buddah bowl tonight and tomorrow will drizzle it over a spaghetti squash/veggie/tvp mix for dinner. The recipe didn't say but I soaked my cashews in hot water for 30 min to soften before blending.
Thank you for the recipe, I saved it to my meal planner! I usually boil the cashews for 5 minutes or so, but will try soaking them instead. I have a recipe for vegan stuffed shells with cashew "ricotta" that I'm making tonight or tomorrow. I'll let you know how that turns out.
Extra pets and belly runs to Taz. My poor man...

Prayers for comfort for Sam and the family.
Thank you!
Practically all of the birds here are molting...they do look like drowning rats and aliens!
They are so silly looking!
I hope that you and Mark have time and good weather this weekend to go on a long ride.
I got a dozen photos of the grandkids first day of school this morning. The older one is starting middle school and she looks so grown up! Time just flies.
Good luck to the grands on the new school year!
Southern Living magazine has this year's Idea House in Charlottesville, so I'm getting a couple friends together to go check out all the things that are too expensive or too upscale for me to have :floorlaugh: :D
You crack me up!
My mom always wants to go "window shopping," which I abhor. Why would I want to wander around a store looking at stuff that I can't buy? But I give you credit for doing that. I amsure that going with friends in the same boat makes it more fun!

Well....the last 3 days have been unexpected...
I'd say! What a scary few days you had. I am glad that it wasn't a heart event, yet still must have been very worrying. Which naturally makes the BP issues worse.
I'm also glad that it wasn't bed bugs, but crazy that you still have the bites bothering you. I hope the bug specialist can figure it out.
Sending you big hugs, please take care of yourself!

Probably no more really long rides for us. With my osteoporosis and his hemorrhoids...sitting on the bike for long periods, even with breaks, hurts, lol! Can you say, OLD! ;)

Morning

Oh I feel yesterday from my head to my toes. All those muscles I haven't used all summer. I have two new 14 yo girls to help this year and oh they were over antic and laughing and acting up. Next week were gonna have to have a calm down talk if it happens again. Just too much crazy. It was so fun and wonderful being back in the kitchen cooking. I had bought onions at Costco where they were $1 a pound (unheard of price). So I diced and bagged them before my one helper arrived. 48 onions. Took me 90 minutes to dice them all and bag 6 onions together. But I have 7 more meals worth of onions and dont have to cut anymore for a bit.

How is your baby girl today? Better? And how about you, were you able to get through your day ok?
She's not okay okay. Midnight she decided yep, gotta poo and again at 1:30. I'm so tired. and my body aches. She's no longer that cute. :floorlaugh:

Today the couch and I will be one. Nothing much happening.

@BrightEyes I hope you get things figured out. That sounds like a scary couple days.

Have a wonderful day!
