Hello hello!
I have a big pot of coffee here, ready for anyone who needs an extra cup. Or two. Or twenty.

I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. It was cold and dark, and nope, I didn't want to get up. I had to do my countdown- 5-4-3-2-1-.... and roll! I shudder to think of how much worse it's going to get. I mean, it is technically *still* summer!
Did I get everything done that I needed to yesterday? I think so. I finished my Week 1 AJ page and did another LO for a new mini-kit of Foxeysquirrel's.
The highlight of my day was sitting outside watching the animals scarf down birdseed and peanuts. I had just let the dogs out and got scared to death when I noticed Gary sitting on the patio. I had no idea he was out there and got startled. I sat with him for quite a while and snapped a couple pics of the birds but LMBO over the chipmunks:

The cheeks! And they kept going, shoving more food in them until the peanuts couldn't fit all of the way in. My phone's camera is OK but not great, so I dragged my DSLR out of the closet and charged the battery. I would love to get a few more photos of the birds and animals today. It is supposed to be sunny, but ATM, it's very smoky. There is another wildfire on the other side of my town, so the haze is bad. We desperately need rain. I think it has rained only once or twice since July.
That's my big plan for today. The other thing I need to do is prep for the field trip next week.
Have a fantastic day!
