Ugh, it is DARK outside! I brought Cait her 5am coffee, then took the dogs outside and it was pitch dark. I do not like that at all. At least it isn't cold, because I really won't like taking the dogs outside. I'd like to start putting Jaida on the lead to go potty rather than walking her on the leash. She is pretty much housebroken, *knocks wood* so it should work fine.

Yesterday did not go as well as I had planned. Halfway through shopping, I started to feel really shaky and dizzy. By the time I went to checkout, OMG- I haven't felt that weak and out of breath in a long time. I actually had to sit down on the "bag shelf" (No idea what that is actually called LOL) to catch my breath a bit and try to slow my heart rate down. When I stood up to leave, I couldn't really walk. I caved and asked to have someone help me get my things into the car. That sucked :(

I was hoping to do my hydration IV (6-7 hour one) once a week instead of twice. But as soon as I got home, I said to Gary that I needed to be hooked up. That also sucked. :(

But hopefully I will be better today. I still have so much to do it is making
my head spin. Or maybe that is the tachycardia talking.
th

hahahaha!!!!

Today I am walking with Cait, Brendan and the dogs to the bus stop -- first day of Senior Year! I asked her how she was doing, and she said fine. I told her that I had the back to school nightmares for her then. I kept dreaming that my PICC was infected and falling out of my arm. I had to go tot he doctors but I was going to miss her going to school. When I got home, she was driving Scott's car, pulling into the driveway after school.
Talk about subliminal stress! :faint2:

ETA: As we were heading out the door, I remembered another part of my dream. When I was in Jr High, there was a clique of girls who hated me for whatever reason. They would write things on my papers like You're dead. Push me into lockers, threaten to beat me up. In my dream, I saw them in my HS cafeteria, and started yelling at them: I have Late Stage Lyme, and beat breast cancer. If you think you can mess with me, go ahead!!

I hope that all of you have a great day. be sure to check out the challenges- they are awesome (as always!!)

Nancy- Hope that you got your walk in early yesterday- it was humid in the afternoon. At least it has been cooling off at night, so that is helpful.
I do not envy you with packing. When we went to my mom's last month, it was for 5 days, relatively stable temps for the summer, and not much going on. I get so confused that Cait and I ended up over-packing. When do you leave?
I have to stalk your gallery today, sounds amazing. Enjoy the Open, and stay cool!

Claire- Oh how nice to have a day like that-- hair done, lunch with a friend, and a bit of shopping :)

Trudy- my days are always upside down LOL How is that adorable Mason doing?

Jean- oh goodness, vent away!!! And no need to apologize. You need an objective ear (eye, I guess) so you can get it all out. You know me, the Queen of Venting here.;)
I hope that you sister improves. Your niece is a rock star!
Thank you for the compliment on Cait. She took that of herself last year and added the wings. I love it so much I have had to scrap it at least a couple of times.

Sharron, WTG on getting back into the pool!! And whoooo hoooooo!!!! for Clara!!!! Congrats on the Mscrpas CT gig. I CT'd for them for a little while. They were all so nice and the designers are amazing, but I couldn't devote the time there on top of here. But have fun with it!
That meeting was Twilight-Zone-ish. It must have been hard to meet a Morgan the same age as your Morgan
AG has great books on girl issues so I would imagine the videos would be too. Lots of good thoughts on all of that to you.

Trudy- yay for more rain!!!! Sorry that you didn't get much done yesterday but at least it was spent with someone you love. Your stomach issues sound horrible. Feel better sweetie!
MY IL's are on a trip to Scotland right now. Totally jealous. In the last few years, they have been to Ireland, Italy, France. Wish I could travel!

xoxo!!

Oh I just has a quick idea-- Claire is probably having a tough time keeping us straight, as well as any other lurkers, so it might be good for us to do a short bio of sorts?

Chris-- married to Gary, kids are Scott (19) and Caitlyn (17 this month). Scott's GF of three years is Leah and she is like a daughter. Cait's BF of 2 years, Brendan, lives with us because his step father is an a**. (very short version there!) We have two dogs, the loves of my life LOL and two cats who make me crazy even though I love them. We all have Late Stage Lyme Disease which is why I mostly blabber on about my health.

Morning ladies... very cool here this morning only 10 degrees Celsius which is 50 Fahrenheit brrr!! We are hoping that the temps warm up again soon! It usually is nice and warm here in September and we have had lovely Indian Summers here! But then the weather has been kind of crazy all year so who knows??

Chris - Oh dear it sounds like you had a really bad experience shopping!! I sure hope that you are doing better today! Your dreams sound intense also, you really need to stop stressing out over things that you can not control!! Ya right, like thats what I do :becky: guess we can't control what we dream about can we! I like the part about you screaming at those horrible girls in high school. Sorry that you had to be bullied by them, WTH is wrong with people??? I know the list could go on and on!! I wish we could both travel more and if I ever win the Lottery I will take you with me to Scotland and Ireland ok? Mason and Heather are doing well, yesterday I spent a long time on the floor with him (I was in Heather's laptop skyping) we played with his new barn and farm animals and we sang The farmer in the Dell and he would pick out which animal was the next to sing about. So fun, so cute!! We must have sang that darn song 10 times before it finally got old. :becky: I miss them so much! Heather is going in the Mitchell Fair this weekend and setting up a booth for her Peekaboo Beans Clothing that she sells, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that she gets some big sales!!

 to everyone else that pops in I will try to post my bio here later but right now I need to get some breakfast.

What a horrible day, Chris. Hope today is better. Is there any hope for you/yours to ever get completely over this, or once in Late Stage is it something you will have to cope with forever? And those dreams. I copied/pasted your Bully Experience and sent it to my DD.

Last night her husband, Erik, and two of the kids were out walking the puppy, when a cat came dashing across a big field and attacked Luna!!!!!!! ...jumped on her back. Erik finally rescued Luna, but the cat bit and scratched Erik so bad the bleeding wouldn't stop, and they spent the evening in Urgent Care. It is BAD! The doctor said it was a good thing they came in when they did. If he'd waited until morning, he could have lost his thumb. As it is, there will probably be a very ugly scar. They had to give him a tetanus shot, antibiotics and pain meds. Today he will be getting a rabies shot!!!!!!!! Poor guy. Like they needed THIS! I never heard of a cat behaving like that. Makes me gun-shy about sidling up to strange cats any more. And I LOVE cats! As you can imagine, the kids and the dog were all traumatized too. Thank goodness he slept pretty well, and the pain has eased some today.

Trudy, we're enjoying cooler weather too, but it still gets nice. We ate lunch dockside (Ivar's on Lake Washington) yesterday, and are playing golf tomorrow. But I'm with you...looking forward to our usual AWESOME September--my favorite month.

Ah Chris....hugs about your health challenges.
Sharron - congrats on the MScraps gig....woohoo....you'll have so much fun.

I'm back from my cruise and missing Alaska soooo much. I am having fun through looking through my photos (mostly landscape and candids on the ship with family). I enjoyed scrapping a few pages last night and this morning.

Hey Rae! Nice to see your pretty face here. We've taken a cruise to Alaska, but have also visited the interior with friends who live near Anchorage. There is no way to describe the feeling that state gives. Wish everyone could visit. We're seriously considering another couple weeks there next summer. Have fun with the photos.

(& yes, I AM having fun with the CT gig. wink)

Hi girls! I just want to share my first try to make physical scrapbook. I used old magazines. But now have to see how to continue with inside. My first idea was to print some "to do list" and things like this, but printing is very expensive .
