hey hey hey! Its Thursday! Is that good? No idea! Its just another day I suppose. I am just more shocked at how fast this month is flying by. I know we have said it before, but time really does speed up as you get older.
I also realized that is why older women (mainly me, my experiment with a subject of one LOL) have no clue about fashion cycles. I brought down my Fall clothes from the attic yesterday and realized that all of my favorite tops are 5-8 years old, but in my head, I think that they are still new. Now my DD and her friends can't go from one season to the next without new styles and all that b/c to them, it seems like they have been wearing that forever. It also stands to say that as ya get older you don't give a crap as much either. Comfort trumps all! ound:
I made my french onion soup last night and it was yummy!! Both kids are having friends over for dinner tonight and I am making stuffed shells- ricotta, ham, red onion and breadcrumbs on top. I am not sure if my semi-vegetarian kids will eat these anymore but they used to love them. *shrugs* Oh well, there is always PB&J.
Temptation on Thursday:
Anyone have a good cast iron skillet I can borrow? I;d love to beatmy honey over the head a bit. I know he is feeling miserable, been on IV abx for 2 months and isn't seeing a difference at all and is *very* (VERYVERYVERYVERY!!!!) cranky. He needs a bit of an attitude adjustment and if the skillet doesn't help, maybe I can just beat him a bit more till he stops cranking.
If no one has a skillet a meat tenderizer might do the trick.
