Please oh please tell me that I have the date wrong? Halfway through September, really?? Really???? It must be true, because I am freezing. We are only hitting about a high of 70* and you all know that is *cold* for me. I really need to move somewhere warm! :flame:

Today I am off to MIL's- I am helping her get ready for a Fabric Sale. She has so much fabric that she is bringing it all outside, and cutting yards off of the bolts. Sally and anyone else, if you are ever looking for fabric, let me know. I can hook you up with her because if she doesn't have it, no one will. Her basement and sewing room have more fabric than some small shops do. Seriously!

Laurie- thanks for letting me know that it may take years, but he'll understand someday. He came home very cranky but it was hard to tell if it was just being tired, Lyme stuff, or being "anti-new schedule." Teenagers! Boys! *throws hands in the air* I am ready to give up!!
Hope you get some good "create" time in soon.

Krista- if anyone wanted to torture us it would be to take our caffeine away, right?
Poor baby-girl. I think we forget (in general) how tough an adjustment school is on these kids. I'd have a meltdown too moist days if it was socially acceptable for a 42 yo mom to do so.
(and can you please take a day off scrapping so I can catch up on LO comments!!)

Nana- how did you do with the kids, did you make it to the zoo? Seriously, can you adopt me again? And this time, can I move in with you??
I could use some hot weather again too

Sandra- so exciting to see so many "old" faces" here today! I am glad to hear that you are doing ok with your decision.
I am really happy to hear that Will is doing good with it. Baby steps, right?

Vicki- I love your WWW- I could stand looking/feeling like I did 10 years ago. That would be sweet
Have "fun" decluttering. Set that timer and go!

Laurie- it must be so hard to let the kids go. Sounds like your decluttering has been going good! Have you tried FLYlady? She has been a great help for me in the past.

Morning- a rainy day a rainy day and I/we have something new to play (words from a book I used to read- ummm over and over and over to my boys!)

Yes it is going to be a rainy day- but I have new kits to play with, cleaning and work to do.

Chris- I do try flylady- I do not always stick to my routines, and then I get in trouble, but knowing the dark time of year is coming- I know I need to clear the clutter now so that my energy can flow better. It is not as hard for me to let the kids go as it is the parents sometimes- I mentioned to one who will be headed off to school next year that he will not always have weekly therapy and she thought I meant starting next week- yikes! I have two right now- and this was one, that are just my "favs" because the child has clicked with me and will do things for me that they won't for other therapist or sometimes parents- so we go with it and work on generalizing to other environments.

Vicki- what are we decluttering today? I am working on "the bag" in the kitchen- love to have it sorted and empty by the end of the day,

Meg- chicken update?

Krista- Missed you scrapping last night

Clara- how is the unpacking going?

Trudy- how was/is orientation to your new job?

Good morning ladies .... just a quick post for me ... I'm off to work this morning :yawn: It's raining here this morning ... so the girls are in super slow motion ... thinking it's still earlier than it actually is because there is no sun yet.

morning again- Krista- I know how rainy days make everything slower- at work I have no windows, so rarely get to see outside (a part of my job I hate, but can't change) and even without seeing the gloom, I can feel it- must that barometric pressure stuff they talk about!

Nana- no net- I went through that a month ago- UGHHHHHH- I so feel for you!

I have been on a roll this morning with the timer, lots of seasonal and regular cleaning done and 15 min of me time every hour! Now I am getting a pumpkin spice latte recipe and pumpkin bread/cake with chocolate chips printed so I can go make some goodness in my cleaner kitchen! Loving my day off- have to pick up dh in town later- grrr- but he does by me toys!

Good Morning everyone:wave: Gee one day of work and now one day off...not bad so far! Actually, yesterday was spent sitting in front of a computer all day doing training, food safe, work safe, what the company is all about, how to stop shoplifting etc.etc. Real work training starts on Friday. It shouldn't be too bad as I have worked in the Deli before. (four yrs ago at Sobeys) I sometimes wonder if I should have tried to get back into the bank, did that for 16 yrs, but have been away for so long that it would be like starting from scratch again. Oh well we will see how this goes. Everyone is very friendly and its only part time so it should be great!

Chris - I'm with you on the date already!! I can't believe its the middle of the month :shocked: This morning I am really feeling the cold too, its :rain: and it just chills to the bone. Makes it hard to get out of bed!!

Laurie - you are having a productive day already!! I can smell the pumpkin spice from here :hungry: I bet your kitchen smells like heaven!!

Nana - No internet???? Oh NOOOOOO, that is just awful, I'll put on the boxing gloves :boxing: and give you a hand with those bad Verizon guys ok? Don't they know it's like losing our life line when they mess with our connections? I just love the little :rant: guy don't you?

Krista - Hope all your sleepyheads :sleep: get out the door ok this morning and you have a great day at work! Loving all your awesome LO's in the gallery :thumb:

I am going to try to get some scrapping done and then order all my pictures from reunion this year, its time to get organized. Have a great Thursday everyone :wave:

Ohhhh my belly is about to burst- too much pumpkin - latte and coffee cake with chocolate chips- ohhhhh- but so yummy- I see we are under a severe thunderstorm watch till 7pm - guess I better get down to business and turn the computer off!
