Yippee! I am not as complain-y as I was yesterday. Still not 100% cheerful but then again, when am I?
My day was fine, nothing majorly good or bad. I'll take that. Dinner was fun with the four of us. I am really gonna miss the banter between the kids. They crack me up, every time. We have one more family dinner tonight. Scott works tomorrow and then we are helping him move on Saturday. He and Sam invited both families over for pizza Saturday night. And--- he was able to switch his hours next week so he can be here for Caitlyn's birthday dinner on Thursday.
Caitlyn (finally) asked Scott to be her Man of Honor last night too. She felt it was the right time-- it is the one-year "pre-versary" countdown to her wedding and one of his last nights here. She ordered a mug from Etsy as a gift. It is a caricature of him in a suit, holding an Oreo and a glass of milk (that is a running joke for them).
Similar to this:
So she has her Man of Honor and her childhood best friend is officiating. I texted her for her birthday on Monday and we were joking that we are gonna be sobbing. Then she made my LMBO-- she said that she married Caitlyn so many times when they were kids, and now she is the one to be giving her away Hahaha!
All good things♥
I am cleaning for my friend this morning and that's about it. I really should start packing, or even just gathering the stuff I need to pack since I'm going to be busy the next few days.
That's about it!
Thanks for listening to me blather on as always
Do I need a comma there?
