ha. I almost typed August again.
I had semi-productive day yesterday. Paid bills- woo. Got some filing and desk work done. I *tried* to make my appt for my mammo. After being on hold for a half-hour, the recording asks if you want to give a call back number and the scheduling department would get back within the hour. Well. I am still waiting. I have to try again today. I started checking around to see if the flu shot is covered by my insurance (it is) and where to get one in town (several places). Now I need to actually call and make an appt or do a walk-in.
The rest of the afternoon was 100% shot for me. I saw the news about DT and the info he had on COVID back in the very beginning and how he has been lying about it and I about blew a gasket. I don't even want to think about what my BP did yesterday. 200,000 dead, millions infected. Lives upended. I tried to work on a puzzle to get my mind off of it.
I woke up today still incredibly angry. It didn't help that I woke up at 4.30 after having another set of nightmares about being out and no one wearing masks and having the family over and it started to rain and everyone was in my house not wearing masks.
I have to figure out what to make for my ILs birthdays today. If we are celebrating this Sunday, it is too late to try to get something online.
Gratitudes:
-Advil
hugs!
