I must sleep. Have to. This is beyond crazy.
I think I will declare today to be a pajama day.

When I signed off here yesterday, I had no idea what my grocery order was going to look like but it was perfect! Everything was there and it was both orders combined into one. Gary went inside to pick them up and I asked him to please tell them how much I appreciated it all. He told me after that they were thanking us, for being so supportive of them. While he was inside, my friend called to ask if we wanted some extra food that the school had delivered and that her kids wouldn't eat so on our way home, she had two bags of cereal, milk, juice, and fruit for me. My kitchen is well-stocked. :)

Since I had the food order go through, I was able to make the dinner I had planned. It was so good! I think that there will be enough leftovers from the past few days that I don't have to cook tonight. Whew. I do not have it in me to do a tone of cooking tonight, especially since tomorrow and Sat will be busy with the Halloween party!:wickedwitch:jedi:yarpirate:rip:::alien

That is all I got today. Hope you are all doing fantastic!

Trudy- sorry that you weren't able to go on your hike because of the rain. My town is the same as yours- mountains and valleys, lakes and all that combine to make very strange weather patterns.
That is a bummer that the sheets were too warm and you didn't sleep so well.
How is Hunter feeling today? Hooe that he doesn't pass the cold along to anyone, maybe it is only allergies? *fingers crossed* Thank you for the encouragement. I hate feeling like this, cranky and unsettled. My mom called yesterday and asked me what I was worried about and all could say was *everything!*
LMK what you think about Departure.

Cheryl- back at you Sweetie-O!
bet it felt awesome seeing Ava in person and she was so sweet to bring you paint chips. That is great that you all picked the same color too. When I painted my LR/DR last year, Gary preferred my second choice but I overruled it seeing as *I* am the one doing all of the painting. hahaha!!
I hope you got some new pics of the house progress. :)

Rae- dreary, yup, that is how it is here. I think the rain is the remnants of Zeta. What a storm season to go through the alphabet and then the Greek alphabet. What do they use next for named storms?
That is both amazing and crummy that you will still be doing physio for so long. I know it has to be a PITA to go all of the time but if it helps keep you relatively pain-free it is a good thing. When I had to stop doing my PT exercises after J took me down, my ankle really acted up and now that I am back working in it, it is feeling a lot better.
How old is Noel? I hope that the vet can find something to help him.
I never made the treats yesterday, I should do them today since I have the sweet potatoes baked already. if you lived closer I would send some to Taz, he is such a cute boy! They are made with sweet potato, oats, and coconut oil so he might actually be able to eat them?

Kay- I am so darn jealous that your power lines are buried. I don't know why they don't do that more here. (I do know-- it has to be expensive for the power companies to redo them that way). I hope that the snow continues to melt quickly so you can get out and about safely.

Cheryl- Yay for Braden's GF!!! That had to be a huge relief ad you must have been thrilled to see the kids!!
Let me know if you need any help getting back into the C-O scene.

Good Morning everyone! It is cloudy and grey outside, but no rain so far. Yesterday was about the same. Funny how Rae got rain, but we did not at least not here where I live. I know the other side of hill 60 it pretty much rained all day long. Crazy weather!! This will be a quick post as I am expecting a call from Heather and Hunter and then I need to get out to pick up a few things for Halloween treat bags. Two more cards to get made for the neighbour kids too. I did manage to get my page done yesterday although I was totally happy with the way it turned out. :mmph: Still working on a couple of Calendar pages too. Same old stuff, day in day out! I suppose we are all feeling the same way these days!

Chris - Sorry you are feeling like a Zombie! That sucks!! Last night I had one of those dreams where you are trying like hell to scream, but no sound comes out. Someone was trying to take me somewhere I did not want to go and I was trying to scream HELP!!! Ugh I hate those kind of dreams! Glad to hear that your grocery order was great and how nice of your friend to give you the extras that her kids would not eat! Nice to have good friends like that! It feels good to have a well stocked kitchen doesn't it!!

Well Heather just txt me to say she will be calling in a couple of minutes so I am off to pour myself a cup of coffee before she does. I will catch up with everyone later!

Good afternoon, all!

Chris, thanks for the offer to help me get back on my feet. I've been working for a long time on my Momma-O November Challenge Post. Whew! I think I've about got it right, thanks to our guru, Ona. We've been talking on FB Messenger and what a wizard that woman is. My only holdup now is that I can't access the private Cheery-O Gallery - my password won't work. Ugh. I think the only thing I need to add to my post is my sample layout. I had to knock a lot of cobwebs out and currently have about 8 Oscraps windows open. BWAHAHA

Hurray for you getting all of your food order + some extras. We ordered all of our groceries in Florida and it was always perfect. We haven't tried here yet - they wouldn't bring them all the way out here, but they do have pickup.

Yes, I was thrilled to see the kids and they're painting the walls today! We're definitely going up there later! Bill (head of construction and our SIL's brother) came down this morning and said the color looked "off". Ava's up there right now looking at it. He said it looked "peachy". Ugh - I don't want "peachy". It's the color we all picked out, though. I wasn't up yet and Chuck told him to go ahead and use it. I yi yi yi yi.

Rain, rain, rain still - it's supposed to stop today.

Hope the Halloween party is a big success and hope everybody has a good day! Hugs

Good morning, ladies (almost afternoon). I spent the morning working a bit and spending a bit of time with Noel (the cat). He has some kind of tumor/growth in his intestines so no further investigations will be done. We might give him some intravenous fluids for a bit to give him some time but we don't know how much time and we have to be careful about doing too much to prolong his time but he may be in pain. So, for now we are giving him his fave treats (a lot of them), spending lots of time snuggling and we'll see how things go.

I'm organizing my office a bit today and work is not too busy so it's a good relaxing day. Not leaving the house except for a short walk with Taz.

Chris - with Taz's sensitivities, I can't give him people food or many dog treats but at least we've found a couple that he likes that don't make him sick so we're thankful for that :)

Trudy - enjoy the family call. We're not doing Halloween this year. Between my back and COVID, we are going to forego it this yr (the first time we've ever done that).

I'd better go, got to get Taz out soon. BFN
