Oh I had such a nice day yesterday! You will all think I am a total loony but it was a good day.
First, I went to clean and my client owed me some money from last time- so I got paid my regular fee, plus what she owed me and now I have $130 cash in my wallet! Sadly, it is going right to next weeks groceries, but what a good feeling :p

Then, b/c the weather was so nice- about 70*, I worked in the yard for 2 1/2 hours! The acorns are like an inch thick in some spots and still coming down. I have some very fat squirrels too LOL But I worked on trimming back some dead plants, scooped up acorns and raked some leaves.

I am hurting a bit today - but it is soooo worth it!

Today I am off to work at MIL's- and I have to remember to pick up Cait and 2 of her freinds from Student Council after school... must remember children!

Tomorrow is my Spa Day! Yahoooooooo!!

Temptation of Thursday-
Hmmm, I really like to blow off my work at MIL's and get back outside, then take a nice long hot bath.
Oh well.....

Personals!!

Linda W- I did reads about that but I haven't seen any updates. I hope that they find her. it just sounds so terrifying.

Dawn- WTH??? That is so wrong about your ex-boss. Vent away, darlin' you need too! Is there any kind of mediator or advocate that you can contact?
And seriously lady-- how dare you not come in here b/c of negativity?? Would you like it if I stayed away?? (No!! Don't answer that LOL!!!)
You k now we all love you dearly -- happy/sad/angry- doesn't matter.
And you can always leave us with a cute Davy story and we'll all be happy too
xoxoxo

Andrea- ugh-- hope that today is a better day for you. - you sound like me, I can never keep days and times straight. (yes, really-- even tho I know my O-Fam is shocked at that truth )
Glad that you liked the scent- did you laugh at the name? Guilt Free Birthday Cake
Also very happy that the girls liked the soaps- but sorry that Gen wanted to eat it :(
I promise to not send you my "choclate bar soap" looks and smells like a Hershey bar

Clara- how is your little girl today? Hope the fever is all gone. Gosh, I don't think I would be able to find a thermometer in my house either.
Scott is doing much better in this gym class. The deal with his 504 Plan is that he needs to get dressed and try to participate as best he can. He was either not getting dressed, or if he was dressed- he wouldn't even try. He said he was doing the warm-ups but the teacher wouldn't count that as "participating."

Who am I missing?

To everyone who comes in (((((((((squishy eye poppy Clara hugs!)))))

Good morning! Has anyone checked for a full moon? Tuesday night, Sydney wouldn't go into gymnastics...said that she wanted to quit. Yesterday at work, someone who has been there 30 years packed her boxes and said she was done. (Not my employee thank goodness!) Got a call from the principal that Shaun had pushed some kid in line after recess but they weren't putting a permanent record in his file. Good grief!!!

I need a vacation! ;-)

So tonight I have my workout with my personal trainer. Got to get into shape and lose some weight. I'll be back in tonight to tell you how it went.

Sorry Linda- but the full moon was 2 weeks ago- the night I had to take Gary to the ER. I noticed it on the way down, and then by the way the ER was hopping, you could totally tell.

So sorry to hear that things went bonkers for you yesterday. My good day must have sucked it all out from everyone else. Sowwy!

Okay...first an update to the missing VT girl...

She was with two friends, and she said she going to the bathroom and just never came back, ended up outside the arena. She did call her friends, and tell them she wasn't coming back and don't worry about her, she would find her own ride back. Sharon knows one of the friends that was with her, and he is totally beside hiself. The girl went to same HS as Sharon and Traci, but they don't know her as she was a few years behind them. I am really thinking that this is a situation where she was probably really high on something, she was seen outside the arena with after the concert started with 4 people, and she was stumbling, and looked really messed up....just the way things sounded. It's sad, they have called off the ground and air search now. REALLY SAD!! I don't know what they will do now...

Now...Good morning girls!!

I am ready for the weekend...hehehe...I can say this now...

Hi Chris....yay for getting paid!! The last three weeks when people come on Friday to pick up babies, they leave cash...you are right...it feels good!! although so far, DH has spent it up for me....I told him no more, I am saving to get me a new camera!! good grief I need one!! I am hoping for a NIKON D90 might be hoping to big though...but if any of you have suggestions...let me know!! LOL...your fat squirrels make me think of my "dead squirrles" sorry....but if my squirrels had come to your house, they would not have fit down the chimney...buahahahaha!!

LindaS...ohh sweetie...sounds like a full moon day!! Sorry it was such a bad day!! Cameran got in trouble too...acutally he's been getting into trouble everyday...Sharon called the teacher and she said he is just too talkative right now but he will grow out of it....said it's typical with boys in Kindergarten. She said not worry about it...but the thing he did yesterday to really get in trouble was they took them to guidance to talk to the guidance councelor and she asked Cameran to move and he just wouldn't move...she had to ask him three times...so his teacher took game time away for three days in a row...and he is grounded from TV and outside today. As a nana...I HATE IT...but as a mother, I know it's the best!! problem for me is, when he's here today, I have to say no to watching TV and going out to play with the neighbor kids...I DON"T LIKE BEING THE BAD GUY!!!!!!!!!!

Ok...I gotta run...I will check back in a while to see who else pops in!!

which reminds me......

WHERE HAS EVERYONE BEEN???? WE MISS YOU!!!:p

hey girlie-Os...

lindaW...I'M HERE!!!! LOL!!!

I just wanted to make my presence known!! heehee~!! Right now, I'm waiting for cora to take a shower so we can do a history lecture. High Middle Ages! Exciting!!!!!!!

Lillian just came up to me and sang me a thankful song!!! YAY!! She was thanking me for all of the "treats" i got her at the grocery store: Belle toothbrush, Dunk 'ems, and Zoo Pals plastic ware. I'm really thrilled I can make my darling 7yo happy with animal-shaped spoons!! hehehehehehe...it is the little things, isn't it??? Ohhh I hope I remember that all day today, too!!

So, Megan is coming over this afternoon to do family portraits for my Thanksgiving cards (in lieu of Christmas cards this year!!). It's rainy and yucky, which means we'll have to be inside with her cool white and black backdrops that she brings. I just hope I have time to cut Mr Gorgeous's hair before...we'll see!! (and so will you if we do a card swap again!!! which I hope we do!!)

Boy, this week has gone by super fast!! Last night my mom came over and we had to talk about this weekend's plans and i was like, omgosh, it's almost Friday!! yay!! Mr gorgeous is taking the day off tomorrow (barring no major crashes with his software at chevron...) and we are going to move our house around!! This is how I get over my shop-o-holic-ness. Move the furniture! The two big things are the TV which is going upstairs (big cultural change in our house, but it'll be great!!) and the baby grand which we just bought for a ridiculously low price from mr gorgeous's grandmother...it's going into our living room. Can't wait!! then we'll have more room to practice as a family band in our music room. so Fun!!!

btw, can i use any more exclamation points????? I guess I am an exciting person!!!! ahahahahah!! :)

okay...time for me to spread the love to YOU!!!!

CHRIS!!! I had a great day yesterday, too!! I had one moment of crankiness that i worked through (i cooked dinner and then ate it and then was sooo happy!! ), but otherwise, it was awesome!! :) I'm glad you had your outside time...that is sooo important for you!

I need to sell a couple of things on ebay so i can get some of your guilt-free birthday cake shower soap or gel or whatever you make with it...it sounds scrumptious!!!

love ya!!

lindaS...{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} to you and yours, babe!! I know you will conquer!! and I totally know what you mean about a full moon!! We all flip out occasionally here in this house, too...usually it involves a lot of yelling and nashing of teeth!!!!!! i love what chris said...big clara squishy eye-popping hugs to you!!!

lindaW, ohhhhh you wonderful nana, you!! sorry you have to be the bad guy, but he'll learn. I always tell my kids, "i'm sooo sorry you made the wrong choice and i have to punish you!" Sometimes i think they think i like punishing them!! LOL!! but no tv always punishes me...but i use that, too!! have a great day, doll!!

Okay...just had to show you girls my babies!!
believe it or not...Savannah is only two weeks younger than Ayden!!

But both of them have those chubby little legs and faces!! hehehehe!!

Godd afternoon everyone. I cannot believe it has taken me sooooooo long to get here today...but I am so glad that today is a squishy eye popping hug day. Those are my FAVORITE! Yay!!

So, the weirdest thing happened to me yesterday. You are all going to officially know that I am the biggest dork in the world and a kleptomaniac on top of that. So...here's my story. Yesterday I had my small group. Because we leave our kids at the church and then go to someones home we take our phones with us. So as I left I grabbed my phone and checked it for messages and realized I grabbed my old phone and thought what an idiot I was so went to the church, got the kids and headed home. About a half a mile from home the pocket where the old phone was started buzzing. This wasn't possible since that phone had been off for a week. So I pulled it out of my pocket and saw a phone I had never seen in my life. So I opened it up and recognized some of the numbers and called the number that had last called. Someone I thought I knew. I told the person who it was and she couldn't figure out who it was even though I told her several times but she told me whose phone I had and so I called her husband and he let me talk to her and we figured out a plan to get her phone returned to her today since I work not far from her house. Apparently I didn't know who I had called originally. I still have no idea how that phone ended up in my pocket. But I did get the girl whose phone I stole a coffee so she said as long as I only steal her phone over night and buy her coffee I can steal her phone all I want. I just can't figure it out. So very weird.

So Addie's fever finally broke last night and now she is cranky today. Poor girl. I was so glad she finally started cooling down though. She didn't cool down with tylenol or ibuprofen or nothing and she kept saying strange stuff. Crazy kiddo. She is just nutty sometimes anyway, but she was quite delusional over the past couple of days. It was weird.

I had my meeting with my pastor yesterday yesterday. That went well. he's helping me to find someone to take over my ministry. He totally understood my issue. That I love my ministry and that I wanted to be a part of it but it just wasn't mine to lead. I am more than willing to help with it just not the one to run it. I'm just not a networker and it needs someone who is. So, that was great. Yay.

Well, I guess I should get started on some personal love...

Chris - I am so glad you had a good day. You deserve it. I am pretty sure no one had a bad day just because you had a good day. I'm so glad you like to yard work. I hate it. Not fun for me even a little bit. I still don't get why Scott can't get a gym waiver from PE altogether so that he doesn't even have to take the stupid class. You would think he'd be able to get a medical waiver saying he can't participate or something and should take a non physical class like underwater basket-weaving or the boy equivalent of that. Lame.

LindaS - Full moon, huh? Sounds like a crazy 24 hours. Hopefully everything is back to normal by the time you log back on. No 24 hours of calm after your vacation for you I guess.

LindaW - So, an income of your own to save up for a camera, huh? A Nikon D90? That's awesome. I decided a D90 was more than I needed because I hate video and the concept of editing video was overwhelming to me so I went with the D60 instead and I was soooooo happy with my decision. Plus it was about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. That stinks you have to be the bad guy with Cameran. That shouldn't have to be your job as Nana and it sucks that once in awhile it has to be. My mom hates it when that happens to her too. That pic of the babies is too cute. I want to hold them for a minute. I just have been wanting to hold a baby lately...just for the smell. I do not want a baby and have no intention of having another baby ever...I just need a baby smell fix. I have been needing it since the anniversary of the plane crash. How do I not know anyone right now with a newborn. What the heck. Not fair!!

Sally - Hey lady! I am soooo glad you made your presence known. Furniture moving sounds exciting for you. I hate furniture moving. It means cleaning and I hate cleaning so I just leave everything where it is at. But I love going to other people's houses when they rearrange. So you go for it. I just wish I could visit now and then visit again after the rearrange. Darn it. I love the tv shows where they do all the rearranging and then it all ends up back where it started. Cracks me up. Good luck with the Thanksgiving cards. Are you going to be the Christmas card organizer? I'm guessing no...but I say we nominate...dum...duh...duh...dum...you guessed it...LINDA!!! I was told today that Christmas is 64 days away. That kinda freaks me out just a little bit. I need to start a little bit of planning. I want to keep this year really simple with the kids and everything.

Okay, rambling...have a great day!!!

Clara, too funny about the phone. Sounds like something I would do. Glad that Addie's fever broke...hope she is feeling really good for the weekend.

Linda, I love that picture of the babies. I have to tell you that I don't think I could manage two of them at that age at a time. Guess that's why God gave me mine when they were older. :-)

Linda and Sally, I'm laughing about the TV. Because when I asked Shaun last night what would be a fair punishment he said "I already know what it will be. No TV." I agree...the truth is that it is punishment for me but such is life.

Chris, hope that you make it outside for awhile.

So here are a few additional details about Shaun. I didn't get the phonecall from the principal...the number came across as unavailable and by the time I got it, it had gone to voicemail. So I had the call from the principal on voicemail. After Shaun told me the story of what happened, I suggested that he listen to the recording and make sure that it was true. For some reason, he was just amazed that there was a recording from school. He wanted to know how I got that message from school. He said, "If you can get messages from school about me, my life is ruined!"

Oh and I also had an hour with my personal trainer tonight. She kicked my fanny... But I loved it...and I'm going to be so happy by next year when we are all in Cozumel and I'm 50 pounds lighter. :-)

Oh...and one final funny...Sydney came up and hugged me and told me "Good job working out tonight Mommy. And I'm so glad that you stayed alive!"
