Wow, what a day. As always, chaos rules the roost. ;)

I can't remember what I even wrote on Monday, *ponders* no Tuesday was the last day I was here. At any rate, more and more things have broken down, between my printer and then a few things with Scott's new car. His battery died and then a hose broke off of the windshield washer fluid tank. The car dealer has been great and replaced the battery and fixed the tank. In the meantime, we were playing Who Gets Which Car in the morning. All of my fingers and toes are crossed that Scott's car starts without a problem today.

Work was fine and I spent a bit of time outside putting some cobwebs in the trees. It is weird not having a big display outside this year. My next door neighbors on the other hand-- Holy Cow!!! I have to find a way to get pictures at night. They have a UFO "crashed" on their roof with alien skeletons sitting outside of it. Plus- a 9 ft T Rex skeleton on the lawn. His name is Cuddles, but don't be fooled, he had a skeletal human hand in his mouth. They win Halloween this year, hands down. No pun intended.Ha!!!

Today I am off to my Lyme Doctor. I actually am feeling pretty stable the last month or so. The summer was bad, but the last month has been decent.
And yes, I am very excited that I have to go int he basement to dig out my beach chair. So happy that I am off to the shore tomorrow.
I am going to get going so I can do personals from yesterday before we have to leave in a bit. One good thing about early appts with her is that we usually don't have to wait an hour or so to get seen, not like last time when we waited 2 hours.

xoxoxoxo!!!!!!!!!!!

Trudy- How is MIL today? Hope the IV abx has kicked in. That was nice of you to offer your house for SIL.
Were you able to go on your hike or did the storm ending up coming in?
Internet issues were with our router since out wifi was working. Thank goodness, Gary knows his way around so much. I would be slapping duct tape on everything and hoping for the best if not for him. ;)

Nancy- oh your game sounded so exciting, is your DS's voice better today? The Devils are really on a good streak-*knocks wood to not jinx it*
Too funny about the water meter.

Rae- the weather this time f year makes it hard to stay healthy. I have no idea if it is an old wives tale or not, but the fluctuations seem to stir things up. This cold front here has made my allergies wind up a bit and I am hoping that it stays just as allergies.

Felis- that sounds ridiculous about the extra customs fees for your package. I hope that work gets a bit easier today.

Jean- I showed Cait your Painted Face LO and her immediate reaction was how spooky! Like mother like daughter. :D It is a great LO!
What kind of car did you get? Much luck with it! *tosses virtual coins to you*

good morning - got Luther out on two walks and my DH had him out twice but he still had lots of energy LOL. Yes the Yankees won again to take a 3-2 lead but so far the home teams have won all games so the Astros are still have a good chance but the Yankees do seem to be on a roll. My hockey team plays tonight against Ottawa in Ottawa and it should be a good test.

Chris good luck with the Lyme appt. Glad that this month was so good. And tomorrow should be a great day for a day at the beach. Your neighbors' lawn decorations sound awesome. Hope the new car starts and so glad that the dealership is repairing the minor problems. Glad he got a new battery with the start of winter coming.

Trudy hope that your MIL is much better.

Rae OMgosh I hope you feel better soon. Loss of voice is the pits. Hope you get lots of rest! but glad that your EO are helping so much

Felis glad you got your package. Customs is being more diligent with stuff through the mail but not sure why that should cost you seems like it should be part of the Customs service for which they are already paid.

Jean congrats on the new car. I love the smell of a new car. How fun to be able to read German and do more sleuthing.

Have a great day all!

Hello all,
we just came back from a great hiking dog walk. The sky was so beauty and weather my favorite. I even feel a little bit guilty knowing that others have storms and rain. One big part of the day is still a front of me, so I have to do this quick.

Jean, congrats for the new car! Wish to your husband trouble-free driving! I can understand your feelings about your old car, I'm very sentimental person too and never replace anything before totally to stop working.

Nancy, so good that you are have good walk too! Hope your team to have luck at tonight game and you to have fun!

Chris, probably this Lyme appt is kind of boring, but aren't they all important things are?! Fingers crossed for good weather on the beach! Looks like we will switch, because here will be rain. I don't mind at all. :cof3:

Trudy and Rae, hope that the storm pass you girls and you both have a better day today, with better health for you and yours family I mean!

Hugs to all, gotta go!

Good morning, ladies. It was a long night, I was up coughing and sneezing and blowing my nose all night. My voice is husky and scratchy but I can talk a bit now. I am continuing to use the EO's b/c I figure they might be helping a bit and they certainly won't hurt me, so whatever I can do to feel better, I'll try it.

Seems like the other girl is behind in her work so I'm doing 3/4 of it now. I miss not having much time to scrap but the increased pay is a good thing. I feel like I'm not being a very good CT member so will have to see how that goes and if I'll need to step back from that too. I won't rush into a decision though, I'll give it some time and see how my schedule works out.

Chris - I'm having electronic issues too. My car now has a trouble light on the dash and Darrell will have to run a diagnostics on it to see what might be going on. It started yesterday. With our torrential downpour, understandably he didn't want to go out yesterday to check it out so maybe tonight he can. So for now I can't drive too far from home, knowing that at any time the car could break down. So, hopefully tomorrow you will have a lovely time with your mom and forget all the hassles at home. Sorry to hear of Scott's car problems too.

Nancy - enjoy the game tonight. I know what you mean about increased energy. Taz is at that stage now too. He goes to daycare where he plays for 10 hrs and then wants to come home to play with me and go out for walks...wth???? doggie daycare is supposed to tire him out LOL. It used to but not anymore. He loves going so its worth it to get him out socializing but he no longer comes home and sleeps afterwards.

Felis - glad you had good weather for your hike. We're looking at lots of rain for the next week so no long hikes for Taz and me right now. Fingers crossed it clears up at some point so I can get some fall photos. I have a feeling our fall colors are not going to be great. Too dry in the summer and now too wet. Oh well, can't change the weather LOL. It is what it is.

Trudy, Jean and everyone else....hope all is well.

I'm getting to work for a bit and then popping over to Sears to see what kind of sale starts today. I'm lucky that I'm 5 minutes away so its easy to pop over quickly.

Have a great day, everyone.

Morning ladies, I will be :plane: in and out of here quickly today. Just had a FaceTime with DD and Hunter, so cute! But poor DD is sick with a really bad sore throat and will be taking lots of naps today when she can. I feel so helpless not being able to be there to help her out! Hopefully no one else gets whatever she has! She will get her FIL to take her to the Dr. tomorrow if she is not feeling any better by then. MIL will be in hospital for a few more days, seems the infection has gone into her kidneys and they are quite concerned about it. So I am having FIL for dinner and told him to stay the night instead of traveling back and forth to the hospital from home about a 40 min drive. He took SIL Linda and I out for lunch yesterday and then we all went up to visit MIL for a bit. When I met SIL at the hospital earlier MIL was fast asleep so we waited outside in the hallway and chatted until FIL arrived. He is pretty lost without her, but it makes us upset the all he keeps talking about is where his next meal will come from :gaah: really thats what you are concerned about your stomach!!! Anyway I won't go there. :tape: It absolutely poured all day yesterday and looks to be the same again today as system #3 moves in. I am off to the pool today, but first hitting the grocery store for some stewing beef for supper for DH and FIL tonight. I will have a left over Keto meal from the other day. I will try to catch up with personals when I get back home. so waving :hello: to everyone for now and hope you have a great day!

We've got another beautiful day but DH thinks he still is going to have to cut grass this afternoon. Isn't it well into October? Oh well, maybe I just don't remember the grass growing later. Thinking it is fall I'm making chili tonight for Thursday night football watching.

Chris, was Lyme Dr. able to see you without a long wait? Everything good there? Glad your internet was back and not a big problem, but the rest of the tech issues must be making you all crazy. Would love to see pix of neighbor's Halloween decor as it sounds great. Thanks for asking about the car. It will be another Honda Accord. This time it comes with heated seats. I never knew about them until you mentioned them and everyone said they're nice. Have a great day at the shore tomorrow!

Nancy, good luck with the hockey game tonight. Luther must be feeling super to still have so much energy. So that's the good side of it. Hope you have enough energy to keep up.

Felis, how nice your walk must have been. So if it rains now at least you got a good hike in. Hope the rest of the day went well.

Rae, you sure do sound under the weather!! Stil, if you are able to get out to the sale at Sears neither you nor the car can be that bad off I guess. Wishing all kinds of healing to you.

Trudy, ouch, sounds nasty for MIL. That could be bad at any age, but especially when we're older. Don't fret too much over FIL and his focus on food. He probably can't deal with her being so sick and so deals with what is easy by comparison. He'll appreciate that stew I'm sure. He's lucky you're looking out for him.
