Helloooo Gorgeous! Gorgeous-es? Gorgeousi? However, it should be phrased, good morning to all of you. I hope that everyone is having a fantastic day so far.

Me-- welp. Trying not to stress. Not about anything in particular. Just that I need a breaaaakkkkk! I don't know how I managed to do it but I felt like I ran and ran and *ran* all day yesterday and got nothing done. I actually got a lot done but it was one of those days when it took forever and I kept getting interrupted. As soon as I started something, someone would text or I forgot that I needed to do something else that was time-sensitive. I didn't mind getting interrupted by Scott and Sam. They were running errands in town and asked if they could stop by for coffee. I don't care what kind of time schedule I'm on. That's always a welcome thing. :D
I paid my bills, played with rats, did three loads of laundry including all of the bedding, picked up grocery order and pharmacy, submitted my cover letter and resume, yard work, raked leaves so I could scoop the dog :poop: and cooked dinner. And took the dogs out a billion times. They both- mostly W- were whining at me nonstop. They needed attention and I tried to give them as much as I could. But ya know- with all of the running, running, running-- it wasn't enough for them.

Scrapping-- nope. Didn't happen. Maybe today. But doubtful.

I am cleaning for my friend this morning. I should try to get there a little earlier, she isn't working ATM and when she is home it takes me a lot longer. She likes to chat and if I have nothing going on, I don't mind. But I really have to carve out some time for myself today and I don't think that's going to happen.

Scott is coming here to decorate for Halloween but I have to get all of the boxes out of the attic first. If I have time, I want to make pumpkin crunch cake for dessert. There just isn't enough time in the days.

I got this.

@BrightEyes That's so disappointing about the balloons. How many more days do they fly? Any chance that the wind will change direction? *fingers crossed*
The lunch must have been nice- catching up with your friends. That seems odd to me, that the Pharmacy would block off appts spots based on the vaccine. Do they need to do anything different to administer them? Glad that you got the appt for the endoscopy too.

@Cherylndesigns That's a bummer that the jeans didn't fit but how awesome that it doesn't cost anything to return them and get the right size.
I have to call my dad and mom today. My mom had an appr with her nephrologist yesterday and Cait reported back that it went well. (Cait calls them a few times a week when she is driving home and she talks to them more than I do sometimes.) i am a professional worrier too.
I know. You are shocked. Shocked. :hahano:

@Su_Sanne You had a wonderful Autumn day. I bet that the dogs love to run outside in the sunshine too. The summers always go very quickly.
I applied for a job as a Part-Time Environmental Educator at a local Ecology Center. It is to lead small groups on hikes and activities outside. Usually, it is for children on school field trips. Scott (DS) had worked there for several years so he told his old boss about me. so now I am waiting to hear back.

@vickyday That's the truth about roosters, it's not just being loud in the morning. I guess it is more obvious because everything else is so quiet. LOL!
Wow, that Cavelier is still running, that's awesome. My neighbor finally got rid of his old Saturn which was probably around 2000, maybe an earlier model. I hope the nephew drives it safely.
Good thoughts to you and the EHD, that's always a nailbiter even without the *&%# Error messages.

Happy birthday Linda!! Hugs to you @LSlycord :hug4:

That's so nice that Scott and Sam stopped by for a visit! How are they liking their place? It is so cute!
Sounds like you got lots done, even if it was in sporadic bits and pieces here and there, LOL! Some days are just like that! Our Asher wants our attention when we are busy, too! And he also knows when we are getting ready to leave the house and so he stands in the middle of the floor.....in our way, of course.....and watches our every move before hanging his head and looking so forlorn walks to his bed! Just like a pouting kid with fur and 4 legs, LOL!

I got about half of the stuff moved over from one EHD to the other. At 2 a.m. I gave up and went to bed! Back to it today! I am hoping that reformatting it when I am done moving the files will take care of the errors! I lost all of the kits I had for Lynne Anzelc and the last several 2023 52 inspiration files and a few other "freebies" that I'm not worried about at this point! I'll just reorder stuff I lost from Lynne.

Good afternoon lovelies. Quick in and out but I'll try to get back. Adrienne and I are going to the nail salon - she's picking me up at three and I still have to get cleaned up. Not moving very fast today - I feel ok, just not moving fast. LOL I'll feel better when we get done and get our nails all purtyied up. (Is that even a word?) Like gorgeous - plural Chris @faerywings and no, it doesn't surprise me one bit that you're a Professional Worrier too. NOT one teeny tiny bit.

Linda @LSlycord Happy Birthday! Hope you have a wonderfulday.

Vicky @vickyday good job on the EHD. I think my two are in decent shape ATM. They're both pretty big and still have lots of room on them.

Gotta dash - hello and hugs to everybody who comes in here later, too.
XOXO

Quick in and out for me. I need to use your deep breath lady @faerywings. I am feeling overanxious for some reason. Maybe my new advanced age causes more anxiety. And on that note, thanks for the birthday wishes all!

I think I'm getting nervous about the whole heart thing...I have an appointment tomorrow for more bloodwork and for an EKG, then a quick appointment with the cardiologist before Monday's heart cath. And then, just to add to the chaos, Shaun has started having blood in his urine again. So he also has appointments at Mayo tomorrow morning...an appointment for a CT and then with the urologist. Brian will be busy. ;)

Sydney is on her way to Atlanta. She is up there for a convention from this evening until Saturday night. She has been stressed...lots of exams and homework all at once. She isn't happy with her grades...although not one has come in below a B- and one came in over 100%. I think she is just too hard on herself and mainly I think that she gets too tired. Being with people wears her out so I suggested she come home next weekend where she can stay in bed with her dogs all day if she wants to and not feel the need to be nice to anyone.

We had a tornado in our town last night. We kept getting weather alerts waking us up and an E2 (115 mph) about 2 miles from us. Fortunately, no wind damage at all at our place.

Made a great choice on the October Prime Reads with The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritsen. If you still have a Prime Read....I 100% urge you to get it. I'm now waiting impatiently for her sequel.

Ok...I think that catches you up on me. I'll try to get in here more...but it may not be until next week.

Linda @LSlycord sending you and your family lots of hugs. You have so much on your plate right now. Tomorrow sounds like it will be very hectic and the kids both sound stressed out, which is adding to your stress level. Sending you good vibes that all goes smoothly tomorrow and that you'll be ready for Monday. SO glad the tornado didn't do any damange. :hug2::hug2:
