Another day and another round of first world/tech problems. :blah:
Ipod/wifi/Firefox... all giving me fits and I have only been awake for an hour. LOL

I am using Chrome again. I hate FF but it has so many of the features that I need/use all of the time that Chrome doesn't have. What can ya do?

So-- Potential good news for Scott and a new car. He switched from looking at Subarus to CRVs. Gary found one that had just been listed and took a look at it with Scott. Price range and mileage are in the perfect range. Guy has been in business for 25 years and he and Gary were able to go over the car together. Gary is bringing it into our mechanic and if it looks to be decent, I think Scott will go for it.

He also finished a paper that was hanging over his head for History and has his topic for his Geo paper so I think those mental hurdles will ease a bit.

Good news for Caitlyn-- she made Dean's List last Fall Semester. :cheer2:

Today I am off to MILs house to do some work for her while she is on vacation.

Felis-- being cautious and aware of your surrounding after being robbed isn't weak at all. it is a natural feeling and one that will be helpful to keep you safe. I am happy that it was only the grandson doing some work.
Was yesterday and calmer and more organized for you?
I think that you are right about the dogs' instincts to tear and rip toys. I am glad it is only toys that they do it to.

Nancy- It is crazy to hear how so many dogs are allergic to things. When i was younger, I don't think I knew of any dogs with allergies. I hope that the blood work gives you answers but only good or easy ones to deal with.

Trudy- Sorry to hear about your dishwasher-- BTDT! Hope that your Gary was able to figure out what was going on. The is disappointing about not making it to the new hike, but I am sure that they will be able to do it again.
Nice to hear that the concert was good too.

Rae- poor you and poor Taz. :( Believe me, I get what you are going through. I never called the vet about W and she seemed to be doing better but I don't know how long it is normal for her to poop like that. (Ick, sorry, TMI!)
Belly rubs to your little guy!
Good luck with the extra workload, you will get it all done, you are so disciplined.
Any word from Bailey?

jean- how was your group meeting? hope that you had a fab time!

xoxo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good morning - yesterday was awesome as my Devils defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-3. They scored a goal when they were down 2 men, the first time in Devils history this had during a regular season game. This so made me smile. No one thought my team could defeat the Leafs. I know that it is only 3 games but my team has been playing this way for the whole of preseason so I think they will continue to play hard. I know they will not win every game but they will make it hard on the other team. And my goalie is playing so well. I went to bed and listened to the Yankees win game 5 and now they are on to the Eastern championship series against the Houston Astros. Made a great buttermilk battered catfish with kale and squash. Surprisingly good fish. The boys devoured the food. Well the power outage fried my DVR and erased all our shows. They cannot get them back. That is so infuriating. But they are sending a new one today. Then the water meter man was going to put in a new meter but LOL we could not find it. I have a room where the water heater, gas meter and I thought the water meter but even following the water lines we could not find it. My DH came home late and left early so I just forgot to ask him where he thinks it is. We will look for it this weekend. So strange that it is not in that room.

Chris glad that Scott is figuring out his papers. Those were the pits if you could not figure out a topic. Congrats to Cait for making the dean's list. That if fab! Enjoy the time at in laws. Time to yourself!

Trudy so sorry you won't make hike for a dentist appt. I think I would have moved the dentist appt LOL. OMgosh that is a bummer about the dishwasher. My girlfriend has one that has a mini area for people that just a few dishes to wash and then a large area when you need regular space and she loves it. But I do hope that your MG can fix it.

Rae so sorry about Taz. It is not fun for him or for you! But at least he will have daycare to play around. Luther on his anti allergy meds is a much happier dog! Yea!

Jean hope the meeting went well! Sorry about the Indians! I really am I thought this would be their year! I know most feel ' those damn Yankees!

Felis hope you and work are proceeding well!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... Holy sleepy head this morning!! I did not wake up until 8am!! I wonder if it is because of the cooler weather? I did wake up twice to go run to the washroom, but fell right back to sleep again, that never happens. So I am sitting now with my first cup of coffee and hoping to actually get something scrapped today? I am having a mental block about starting my calendar pages, so many great photos, but I don't know where to start?? :gaah: why can't I get organized!! I will hit the pool this morning and perhaps that will clear my mind a bit.

Chris - WTG Caitlyn for making the Deans list!! You must be so very proud of her! Keeping my fingers crossed for Scott that he gets the CRV and that there is no major issues with it! Nice that his mental block with schooling is lifting also! Our dishwasher seems to working just fine again, not sure what the heck is going on with that, but DH only managed to get out the manual and started reading about troubleshooting, but did not actually take anything apart. Guess we will see how it acts in the few days, before doing anything else to it. :noidea: why it is working fine again, but I am glad that it is! :becky:

Nancy - My DH was saying to me last night that he thought you would be so happy with the way your Devils are playing!! It must have been a good game to watch. I was busy making supper and did not watch any of the games. DH doesn't watch as much as he likes, but he keeps track of all the scores and highlights of each game on his computer. Seems that there is always something that needs to be done around here and he doesn't get to spend much time in front of the TV. When he does he just falls asleep in front of it LOL. Glad you enjoyed another great meal, I would not like it as I don't particularly like fish very much. Our neighbour across the street brought over some fresh coho salmon that he had just caught on the weekend and so DH and son and DIL and Isaac enjoyed that very much!! Sadie and I had chicken instead :becky: Too funny that you could not find the water metre, perhaps it is located outside of your house? Ugh that your DVR is toast! Hope that you get your new one right away, but that is sad that you lost all of your shows!

Rae & Felis I will say that I hope you have a good day and that your work load is not too great! I am sure you are both busy with working from home, so lucky that you can do that, I would have loved to have been able to work at home!

Ok off to the pool I go, hopefully it is nice and quiet again today!

I'm very proud of myself, because made To Do list and followed it straight from yesterday, which even gives me time to make one layout. For future I have to buy some templates with ideas for long texts, because I can't figure out how to do that beautiful. Also my text looks blurry when I resize :(. Not much happened here, except that weather is almost summer and all pets are lazy. I would prefer to was out too.

Chris, when they tell you to go for second test of W?! After 15 or 45 days. If is 15 probably that is the time for full recovery. If they are give you the longer period, they think that she will be clear after one pill course of treatment, so she could feel better after week or less. You can try with phone call to your vet. Tell him that you are think that he/she is told you to call after give the pills and describe situation, vet will explain you without another visits which to stress the dog if you are worried unfounded. Congrats to Cait! :clap2:

Nancy, so bad about all these technical issues! Hope they been resolved fast! But is good that you had good game and celebrate it with dinner.

Trudy, hope swimming is brought your inspiration! So good about your sleep, you should check this theory about the cold.

Rae and Jean, hope you have good day with warm weather!

Good morning, ladies. Spent a few hrs this morning on the phone with shaw. tv and phone are not working so lucky I could call on my cell. The tech had me try a bunch of things but nothing worked. He had me looking for the phone modem and it took me 15 min to find it. I knew we had an internet modem but had no idea about the phone one (it was against the wall in the downstairs extra room with a cabinet in front of it. so this wkend we'll have to unload the cabinet and pull it away from the wall so the tech can get at it, who probably won't be here for a week. I'm on standby so they could call at any time if there is an opening sooner and I have to be within 10 minutes of home, for the short notice. So we'll not be going to the trailer this wkend unless we get lucky and they call today or tomorrow, otherwise its sometime next Wed.

I can watch my laptop or the android, thankfully. But what infuriates me is not being able to pvr my shows for a week.

So that's how my morning started. Ugh. Taz was exhausted and didn't wake me to go out last night, so only woke up my usual amount of times. He's still not feeling well (not eating much and was out chewing on the plants/weeds in the garden which he does when feeling sick). So hopefully he is getting it out of his system. Its crazy how chicken/turkey make him so sick yet duck doesn't seem to (they are all fowl right? you'd think they would all bother him).

Chris - tell Cait WTG! So glad to hear Scott may have found a good vehicle.

Trudy - hope the dishwasher continues to work ok and have a good swim today.

Felis - good you were able to follow your schedule.

Nancy - oh no....losing all your pvr shows. I can relate. That happened to me too, our pvr box broke down and they replaced it but I lost all my shows (and I had a lot on there).

I'm getting back to work now. I was super busy to start with and then the whole mess of tv/phone problems this morning so now I'm even farther behind. Definitely not much computer time for me today. Have a great day, everyone.
