I. Just... can't.....

:faint:
I saw a post on Twitter this morning that the news is like a DDoS attack. If that is not an apt description, I don't know what is.

Instead of me going on about everything that has happened in the last 24 hours (what it only 24 hours ago that Election Results were in???), I am going to fill this thread with pics of dogs and cats doing silly things.

Who is with me?

Nancy- the three NJ races I was interested in (Sherrill, Malinowski and now Kim) all flipped Blue! My district flipped blue 2 years ago so it is looking pretty good for the state to keep at on check- at least relatively speaking. I think the last update I saw was 123 women were elected!
what is going on with the Devils? Thankfully, it is still early in the season so they have time to get their act together.

Trudy- That is not good that you had such a rough time not sleeping. Did it get any easier last night?
yesterday was nice weather in the morning so it was good to get out and walk with W for a bit. Would you believe that since the time change, I am already feeling a difference in my mood and activity level? Cripes.
I LOVE your calendar pages.
I wish I had ideas to help you with the gift for your DS. My dad's 80th is Saturday and I still have no clue what to do for him. :(
Yes, I am happy with the results. I would have loved to see the Senate turn Blue too. By the Dems got a decent amount of governorships, state legislatures, in addition to winning the House. It is a start. :)
OMG-- your MIL! :rollpin: I don't even know what to say!

Rae- that is what we have here on the East Coast this morning. 39* but sunny. I don't like the cold and I know it will only get worse.
I am sorry that your Dr had a family emergency but I am happy that you will have a lighter workload. hehe!! That is funny that B said the craft class was lame, she must be comparing it to time spent with you. ITA that the really positive thing is that she went.
Fingers crossed that you get that money back from the tax filing-- it will be like winning all over again :p
Jean- what????? You might get snow soon???? :lalala:
Ugh about the state races not going well, but Sherrod Brown is a great senator!

good morning - the sun is shining. My DH and son did not get home until 11:30pm last night and so both left late today for work. My DH again had commuter delays. He walked Luther and they met a dog, Pascale and he and Luther had lots of fun running in a park playing chase. Now Luther is just sleeping. But he was up late too so not surprised he is tired LOL. So normally on Wed my girlfriend and I go to Panera's well this Wed she and her daughter invited me to join them for a pedicure. It was so fun! Then we decided to go to a real restaurant and I had a great pasta dinner. They do pedicures once a month so I think I will join them. The women were so nice and they do a great job! Came home and watched hockey.

Chris thanks for posting those cute photos. They do make me smile.

Trudy it is so hard to think of gifts for a 40 year old son. How about an album of his 40 years. It would be great for his kids to see him little and to have his parents memories of these time. Just a thought as you are so good a calendars and scrapping.

Rae that is sad about the death in your Drs. family but I guess it is good to have less work for a while. I think that you are making such a great set up in your living room. I am sure your computer tech will know what to do.

Jean wow I can not believe that you might get snow. I know it is Nov but yikes. We will be having lows near freezing so I guess it is coming.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... brrr it's chilly this morning!!

The Heat Pump has been running all morning, well maybe it will finally put an end to these dam fruit flies!! :gaah: I have never had them in my house for so long before. I don't even have any fruit out on the counter, since we don't eat much fruit anymore only berries. I am sick of the smell of apple cider vinegar too! Ok enough complaining :sorry: Last night I had a much better sleep and so hopefully today I will feel a bit more human. Yesterday I had some success in finding a few things I need for Isaac and Sadie's Christmas gifts, so I feel a bit less stressed about that. I have to go to the dentist this afternoon to get started on getting a new porcelain crown and I am not looking forward to it! Hopefully it won't take too long at the dentist as I have to get to the store and grab a few things for dinner tonight also. Other than that I hope to get some scraping done this morning. I really want to do a page for the 52 Inspirations challenge today! I hope that nothing unexpected comes up this morning!

Chris - Thanks for the great dog and cat photos!! Love them! It made me smile!! So much better than seeing what is happening in the States! Wow your Dad is turning 80! I hope you have some luck finding a great gift for him! I bet just having you there for his birthday would be the best gift of all for him! After all at that age what do they really want or need?? Yes I wish I had a rolling pin for my MIL!! :becky: Thanks for loving my calendar pages, they are coming along quickly for a change, it helps to have lots of great photos and products to work with! Hope your weather continues to be sunny!!

Rae - I had to chuckle over B thinking that the craft class was lame! Sounds like she is continuing to have some improvements and she must have really loved your time together making cards! Wish we could do a trip together to Michaels Craft Store, I have lots I need to get too and will be going with DH this weekend. We are doing a date night either Saturday or Sunday and will take in a Movie with our Scene points. I bet he stays in the car and grabs a nap while I wander aimlessly around Micheals LOL. It's not his fav place to spend time. Glad to hear that you will have a bit of break with your workload! Hopefully you can get some scrapbooking done today!

Jean - OMG not snow already!! Yes I had a much better sleep last night it is amazing how a bad night of sleep ruins the whole day! Glad to hear that you got a page scrapped, I will have to go and check it out!

Alright Heather and Hunter are calling so I better get outta here for a bit and catch you all in a little bit!

Good morning, ladies. It was pretty chilly this morning when Taz and I headed out for our jog at 7:30. I wore lightweight gloves and a vest which was perfect for keeping me warm enough as we ran. Then home for a shower and get ready for my day. My workload will be lighter today so can get some chores done around the house in between working. Might even get another challenge page done too. We're going out with Jen after work today. We haven't seen much of her for a few wks. We alternate going to the facility so she's never there when we go and she's been staying out there for most of the week in student apartment sharing. We'll go for dinner and hang out for a bit.

I am going to organize in my scrap room this afternoon, checking to see what supplies I need and where everything is. I finally found my stamp cleaner yesterday (in my old scrap room in the back of the basement where I didn't realize I still had so many supplies in). I thought I had moved it all into the other room a few yrs ago but I guess not. I sure have a lot of organizing to do. Found my watercolor brushes so B and I can play a bit this wkend. We won't do too much b/c D will be with us and its boring for him but we'll spend a few minutes painting before we switch to playing cards.

Chris - for your dad....a framed photo that C took? Any special appie or dessert you know he loves that you could bring? I think the celebration and family time is much more appreciated than gifts.

Trudy - hope the dentist visit goes well. I'm going to the movies on the wkend too. J is taking me to see A Star Is Born (a birthday treat from her since we didn't celebrate my b-day this year). I can't wait to see it. Enjoy scrapping later and maybe I'll get one done too.

Nancy - sounds like a lovely day, a pedi and your sports.

I'm getting to work now. Have a great day, everyone.
