My morning got all discombobulated. Thankfully, Cait doesn't have school and I am working at noon today.

Cait's phone had gotten wet when we were at the shore by a rogue wave. Despite trying to revive it in rice, it never came back on. We got her the same phone on ebay to replace it. A couple of weeks ago, Gary noticed that the screen on the original phone was working again, and Cait was going to take that one back and I was going to upgrade to the second phone. Yesterday, the screen died on that one. I gave her my phone for when she was at work, but I didn't want to mess with the notifications on when she gave it back to me last night. So I didn't know that somehow my alarm got turned off. I did get an unintentional extra hour of sleep though. I guess that is a plus, right?

I cannot believe how how quickly the end of daylight saving time and the shorter days are hitting me already. Just cooking dinner it is so dark and feels so much later than it actually is.

Yesterday, I got my MIL's photos from her trip to Italy in 2009. I have been wanting to do a book for her and this is going to be her and FIL's christmas gift. They picsa are gorgeous. I saw that groupon has an offer for snapfish books. Have any of you used them? I have used shutterfly and artscow, but not snapfish. Any comments on them?

Today I have to get my act together.
(What else is new????hahahaha!!!)
Housework a bit here and then off to "real" work.

QOTD
How do you share LO's? Only online? Prints, or books?
I obviously share mine online but I also print them out at home and have done photo books at gifts. I honestly have never thought about making a book for myself, only as gifts for others.

Temptation on Thursday
Drink lots of coffee and snuggle under my blanket

Oops! I reread my post from yesterday and I totally forgot that I wanted to clean Gary's tub. But in my defense, I was making black bean veggie burgers for dinner and they are an all day project. Soaking and cooking and then mixing them up- really an all day deal. But I made a huge batch and we have plenty leftover for lunches.

Phyllis- I am with you about the election results (although I know we are on opposite sides of the spectrum LOL), I have little hope that any politician can get anything done any more. Watch out, I am going to start ranting about term limits and money out of campaigns and lobbyists and the perpetual cycle of campaigning rather than governing.
I was trying so hard to be quiet about the election and then I got in the car with Cait and started yelling. Then stopped. Started yelling, apologized for yelling. Stopped and started again. Then I blasted green Day's American Idiot to make me feel better.

ITA agree with online shopping. So much easier and better prices and can get more specific stuff. I do feel back for the brick and mortars, and will try to shop local over the malls when I can. I bet your embroidery is perfect. I think we tend to see all of the flaws that no one else does.
Hope you got to rest a bit and are not as itchy today!

Nancy- oh well, that explains why I don't remember shoot outs LOL. I vaguely remember that for the standings it was 2 points for a win and one point for a tie? Is that right?

Phyllis- That is me, in my house. I wander around aimlessly quite often too!

Jean-
It has probably happened to me, but I can't remember!
hahah!! This made me laugh!!! How was your marathon shopping trip?
Caitlyn knows how much I love cannoli. There is a local diner that has cannoli topped pancakes. Sooo good. Anyway- it was definitely cool that she had us order them :)

Ok, my darlings- I am off to the Gallery, then morning housework to do.

xoxoxo!!!!

Goodness, where are our Ozzies? It is rainy today, good to be indoors. Football tonight on TV.

QOTD: I do different things. Definitely share online. Sometimes print a page to give away (8x8 on reg. size card stock). I have done two books as gifts and have another I keep meaning to do. I've printed two for myself from P365 or P12 projects but still haven't printed 2013. Long time ago I did more of a collage that I had printed on T-shirts for family. Oh, and I had some printable (ink-jet) cloth that I printed a page on then quilted to a tote bag.

Chris, I feel the same about the dark so early! (And glad I made you laugh, cracked up DH when I told him what I wrote.) Yesterday shopping with sister we started late, after her appt. and the sun was setting when we came out of the first grocery store. I told DH I would be home by 8:00 to go to dinner (our normal time) but it was 8:01 when I pulled in the driveway. Felt like the middle of the night. Nearly full moon was gorgeous.

Hope everyone has a good day!

lOve the O!
RAiny here too Jean! I just drove to town to pick up hubby- he had to have his work vehicle towed- at least work will pay for the repairs. I am still muddling my way through quick books, scrapping and doing pile clearing- sadly not leaf piles- but paper piles. My goal is by Thanksgiving- without having to put boxes in closets!!
