Hi everybody! How are you today? I am heavily caffeinated (I will never remember that caffeine is "e before i" - Thank you, spell check!!!) and hopefully not as cranky as I had been the last couple of days. IIRC, the last couple of my Tindamax weeks have been almost instant crankiness, then mood swings, then a day of stability, then all Hell breaks loose. Hopefully today will be calm, and maybe tomorrow *fingers/toes/eyes crossed* there won't be a storm. Last month's last day of the week, I left a note to everyone that warning them of my mood!

I was productive for the most part yesterday instead of having crazy mood swings all day. It sort of feels like very bad PMS mood swings- cycling between anger, irritability and depression and a sense of loss. Add in some serious brain fog and confusion which sends out more anger/depression and there you have it.:fish:
I was food shopping, and kept dropping things, both grocery items and the f-bomb, which I usually don't do. The F-Bomb, that it. I drop things on a very regular basis. heheh!!
Then because I forgot a bunch of things on my list, I had to go all the way back to the beginning, near the bakery, remembered that Gary was wishing for a donut the night before, and almost started to cry as I picked one out. Why?:noidea: Maybe because i felt bad that he married a loony tune? lol

But I survived that, plus the dollar store (Already crazy busy in there, ugh!), then home depot. I even survived my mom coming up for Christmas list details. I think she is a bit mad at me since I am really only asking for a toaster oven, a vegetable peeler, and a microfiber bath mat.

Today I have to work in the kids' bathroom, There is sooooo much mold so today I am going to try and clean that -- with a face mask, for sure. This weekend I am painting it with a mold killing primer. When I am done, Gary is going to recaulk the tub and it should look better and be healthier.

QOTD
What is your favorite breakfast food? Do you like b-fast or hate it?
I hate having to eat early in the mornings, so a granola bar or a small bowl of cereal is about all I can do. However, I LOVE b-fast for dinner- scrambled, eggs, pancakes, hash browns.

Temptation on Thursday:
Knock off a bank, pay my bills, then go somewhere warm!

Morning Chris and the rest of the O fam! I love omelets for breakfast- howver rarely make them for myself! Today- errand day= eye dr again and hair cut & color. Plus throw in a little work stuff that needs to be done and house cleaning. I have been a veg this week after work- perhaps it is all the cold and darkness? I was contemplating heading to Rochester, NY for Thanksgiving, thinking I could drive 6 hours one day there and 6 hours the next back- however with all the snow in Buffalo (not to mention the Thruway is closed) I am not sure my low to the ground car would thank me!!

Phyllis- so true about the "We appreciate your patience, we know that your time is important to you" BS.
Not a Republican? Nope, I would figure you to be more Libertarian, pretty much leave me the heck alone?;)
it's not even Thanksgiving, and already i'm sick of winter.
OMG, I said the exact, word for word, same thing yesterday too! The only "good" and I use that term very loosely, is that the cold weather makes it feel more like Christmas season so the Christmas music, decorations, etc in the stores didn't make me as crazy as they normally would have.
How is your friend holding up in Buffalo?? Holy cripes! 6" already and up to 3 more?? Did you survive the car dealership? So not fun. :(
We have Christmas Eve at my mom's, then we pop over at my BIL's for a bit. Christmas dinner is always here. Usually a free for all. (What else is new? teehee!!!!). My mom brings up some of her leftovers, I do appies, some hot dips (<~that would be me. ha! JK!!!!), some finger foods-- we do it very casual nowadays.
Cookies for dessert. My favorite part!

Trudy- another reason I want to move in with you-- the weather! I swear, there is something wrong when you walk outside in Nov. thinking, its not as bad out here as yesterday and it is 22*! It was 16* same time on Wed.
Are you feeling better? Hope so. And I forgot Broc cheddar soup. And Cait's tortilla soup. Cheese and cream... *happy sighs*

Jean- 10" of snow? And it was still trying to snow more? Ugh!!!!
Is hibernation possible?
Cait asks me this all of the time too. I wish there was!
That soup sounds sooo good, too bad you don't make it and could share the recipe.:)

Ok lOvlies, I am off and running... xoxoxo

laurie-- Good morning! I feel like a slug this time of year too, the short days throw me off, not to mention the cold.
I saw the pics of the stranded cars/tractor trailers on the Thruway. Its crazy! I can't imagine how that is going to get cleaned up, unless they get a really hot spell or have lots of hair dryers... (I am imagining a hair dryer version of the vacuum in Space Balls)
Enjoy your day!

in case you haven't seen Space Balls :p

Chris, good luck on weathering the Tindamax Storm. if i was taking that drug, i wouldn't be able to tell the difference in my mood! :pound: not to laugh at what you're going through. it must be awful. i hope your family knows to be helpful and QUIET!! i sometimes had days when my kids were home when i used to say: imagine there's a large bubble surrounding me about a yard out in all directions. do not enter. your Christmas sounds nice. you don't have to host anything, which in my book is always a plus.

Hi, Laurie. forget about Rochester!!! do you guys have snow on the ground?

Jean, 10"!!! yikes! has it ended for you? we've been lucky. we really haven't gotten anything but a dusting and cold and wind.

Trudy, i just love guys who covet stock pots!! i don't know a single one. maybe my son, but he doesn't have time to cook these days. as always, i envy you the climate of the Pacific Northwest. for me, it seems perfect.

Nancy, are your shoes frozen to the ground during one of your walks?? hope all's well.

today i'm heading off to the framers again. one of my DD's Christmas gift photos is an odd size and i can't find a frame to fit it. then my own Christmas present is a copy of a watercolor i bought for myself, and i told Hubby that the framing could be my Christmas gift. so he heaved a sigh of relief....

QOTD: bacon and a bowl of chopped up hot hardboiled eggs. yum.

have a lovely day. wish for SUNSHINE!! :becky:

good morning - I missed yesterday but I read and finished the next Outlander book. I am not waiting to read the next one until I go on vacation in Dec. They are just fun to read. I like the characters. It was too cold both days to walk especially with the wind. I did cook dinner so that was good so now I don't have to cook to night. My hockey team sucks so glad they are not playing tonight. I got a wonderful surprise my page "Dawn" was selected as a GSO.

Chris so sorry about your abx regime. I hope your son gets his mouth feeling better! Keeping your gums healthy is so necessary.

Phylis glad you are not getting too much snow. We are missing out on the snow too as you said just cold and wind.

Laurie hope the eye dr appt went well. Nothing wrong with taking it easy. Laurie you are heading in to the snow zone if you head north.

Jean 10 inches of snow that is more than enough.

Trudy have you made it back to swimming yet? And it is good to see that you are feeling better.

QOTD - I do not like soup so I never make soup. I do like stews and chills.

QOTD - I love breakfast - I love pancakes, waffles, omelets french toast everything really. But now a days it is usually done only on weekends or for dinners. And there should be bacon.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... A very smokey day out here today as everyone is burning the leaves and shouldn't be  what is the matter with people?? They plaster it all over that an open burning ban is on and the air quality is dangerous because of the cooler temps and the fact that there is no wind to speak off. By the looks of it outside, not one person has stopped burning. I would love to give them all a quick kick in the pants!!!

Ok I will go get another cup of coffee now and settle down LOL.

Chris - I can't imagine what you go through with all the mood swings and such!! I hope your family gives you a break and doesn't expect too much from you these days!! If your mother is looking to get more for you for Christmas, perhaps a little hint that your computer stuff is all acting crazy would be in order? Although I know you do not want to burden your sweet parents with an expensive gift, sometimes it makes them feel better too!! I was so happy when we got Heather her new laptop, it benefited us because we got to skype everyday with her and Mason! Win, Win for everyone!! Just a thought.

Laurie - Are you crazy?? Why would you want to go to where all that snow and horrible weather is?? Have a Thanksgiving with your loved ones on another day, when its not going to risk taking your life in your hands!!

Phylis - How nice that you bought yourself a beautiful gift!! Ha, Ha on your hubby breathing a sigh of relief about the framing. Why is it men never know what to get us?? I don't know about you but I drop hints about what I would love to have all the time!! I am sure that all he hears is Blah, Blah, Blah!! My DH is off the hook this Christmas too as we are going somewhere warm in January hopefully so that is our gift to each other. Hooray!! It sure makes it easy!!

Nancy - Good for you for getting through another Outlander book, I am anxiously waiting for Diana Gabeldon to hurry up and get the next one written LOL. I am having a hard time reading anything else!! Sorry your Devils suck, but so do our Bruins and now they have lost another Defensemen!! I think we can forget about them doing anything exciting this season!
No swimming yet, but will start again on Monday, I just feel like my breath is not good right I can't seem to breathe deeply and I am worried that I would pass out if I tried to swim laps right now. The heavy smoke filled air outside is not helping matters at all either.

QOTD - My most favourite breakfast meal would have to be Eggs Benedict!! A close second is Waffles with strawberries yummy!!!

Ok everyone I have some pics to get onto a layout today and then I really need to get going on my calendar, I have no motivation to get that job done, so send me some mojo please!!!! Have a great day all

Have to say that 10 inches of snow compacted down to much less and the light snow since hasn't had an impact (yet). Walks and parking lots are pretty icy though and I'm terrified of falling. Good thing I go places with DH who gives me an arm to hold onto.

QOTD: I love all the breakfast foods mentioned, but I eat either oatmeal or bite-sized shredded wheat. Not exciting!

Chris, so nice you may have a stable day. Especially if cleaning the kid's bathroom! Your Christmas does sound fun.

Phylis, good for you for getting your Christmas present and the way you want it.

Nancy, so glad to hear you didn't freeze on a walk. Nice not to have snow and not having to make dinner tonight.

Trudy, I'm amazed people are still burning leaves! I remember that from childhood, but it's been a long time since folks here have done it. But then I now live in the city and it wouldn't be safe with our little lots. Glad you're still improving and sure hope you're ready to swim on Monday.

My hair is done- darker- I rushed home afterwards to get any packages before my husband- one would be a dead giveaway- it arrived and it safely tucked away- I had 3 of Jim Boeheim's new Bleeding Orange book autographed at a book signing and they arrived today. Can't wait to see how surprised they all look - husband and sons when they get them! Okay off to clean and cook and perhaps scrap some. Oh and I won't go north if there is snow- I may even stay home and just enjoy my 5 days off- unless my son comes and I will still stay home and enjoy!!
