Good morning to *everyone!!!* I yes, I mean every one of you who reads this. I was skimming some threads on some other forums and I realize how difficult it can be to join in when everyone else knows each other so well. I lurk on those threads and I bet there are some lurkers here as well. So I am throwing the doors open and saying C'mon in!!!
I sometimes think I am a broken record but I also can't say it enough. These threads are not "mine" (although it seems like everyone misbehaves when I am not around ). So if you've been here for years or just registered today, you are welcome here.
*pats the chair next to me*
Sit down, make yourself comfy, and have fun ♥
I was very busy yesterday and was pretty darn proud of myself. I am cruising along with the shawl, I am so grateful that Eva suggested the pattern I am using. I also started prepping a challenge for December. It has been a few years since I hosted a challenge- and I am preparing 2 preview pages. Meanwhile, my November Cheery O scrapping is in the toilet. Ooops.
I have to get some cleaning done here today. There is a possibility I am having more people here on T-Day than I expected. It was going to be just my parents and Sam and Tom. I "officially" invited Sam when she was here on Tuesday b/c I had a feeling that Scott didn't say anything nor that she knew that it was always assumed that she was invited to any family things. When she said that she didn't know what her mom was doing or her sister, Caitlyn suggested that they all come here. Which is absolutely fine. Until my brain catches up with it and I get the urge to clean the house. Which is what happened yesterday afternoon. Ha! Today I am going to scrub the dog nose prints off of the windows and the coffee stains from the stairs. These are things I do a few times a year so I am actually ahead of schedule for Christmas LOL
Speaking of Christmas, Scott has to work Christmas Eve until 6 pm, grrrrrrrrrrrr. He is off on the 25th so that is good but in my kooky fam, Christmas is a 2-day holiday and the 24th is just as important as the 25th. I am sure we'll make it work. It's just disappointing. I am *dreading* telling my mom who hosts Christmas Eve. She is not gonna be happy either.
OK, I think I have blabbered enough for now. Have a wonderful day!
