Happy Star Wars Day!

And Happy Thursday too. Wow, it is cold here, we went down into the 30*s last night. The bulbs I put in the other day should be ok, but if not, the box of 40 bulbs only cost me $5. I had turned the heat off the other day and I am glad that I thought to turn it back on last night.

Gary said that he had a very nice birthday, we all made a small fuss over him in the morning and dinner was good too. Scott got him and me, for Mother's Day, a greenhouse! He was able to get it from work and it has several shelves plus the plastic "tent" over it. He also got some tomato and jalapeno plants that we will repot and put in there as soon as the last frost date hits. It will also be a great place for us to put the seedling I have growing to harden off.

The kids brought Jaida to school yesterday. people will bring their dogs apparently to hang out. Their classes were opposite of each other so while one was in class the other was outside with her. At one point, Cait was in the library and Jaida could see her and she was all excited. Caitlyn blew a kiss to her and J licked the glass where it was from the outside. :pupkiss:

I drove Scott's car to my cleaning gig and OMG, it made me want to plug my ears up. It has something rusted out in the exhaust system and we have been waiting for my dad to bring me his car so Scott can drive mine while his car is in the shop. He got pulled over (verbal warning TG!) for it being so loud, I figure that he is more of a target than an old lady driving it. After that, we will sell my car for however much we can get for it. Does anyone want a 2005 Saturn VUE? LOL

My dad is bringing his car up here on Saturday, so we should be able to get the registration and insurance taken care of on Monday.

Please don't ask me what I am going to do today. You all know the answer to that. Trying to get my life together. Some day, I will!!!!

Wish me luck, since I know I am going to be distracted by our House of Reps trying to repeal Obamacare (again). The vote is supposed to be at 10 am.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Trudy- so sorry that you got rained out of your hike again. Maybe next week will be better. *fingers crossed*
What is micro-blading? I have never heard of that. No matter what you do, you always look amazing. I hope that you are feeling 100% better and that you can get back to swimming and hiking soon.

Rae- how fun for Taz, I can imagine his total body wiggles at daycare. Give him a belly rub for me.:)
Thanks for the understanding of my bone fears. At 4'11" I can't afford to shrink! Or break. I am sure that losing all of that weight will help you back so much too.
I can tell that you are not Italian. I am very "ethnic." In the summer, I have to shave my legs every darn day! I should in the winter but I can't be bothered. I might swipe at them once a week.

Nancy- I hope that you got everything done that you needed to do. You must have been very busy settling back in.

Hugs to all of you who read this! ::grouphug

Good morning - I started yesterday morning but then Luther started to beg for his walk and I just never got back. I got my laundry done and grocery shopping and of course walking Luther and got back into scrapping. I am doing a year long class with Anna Aspnes and finally got to watch the April video. I am still finishing up my trip to AZ before I can start my trip to Florida.

Chris how fun the kids got to bring the dogs to school. College is just so different than high school. Hope you are feeling better. So glad that Gary had a great birthday! But with you and your kids how could it be any less! The green house sounds pretty cool. And yes I am missing my 90 degree days in Florida - these 60 degree days are too cool for me in May. But I must say everything is in bloom and the walking is gorgeous.

Trudy so sorry the hike was rained out. What are you going to paint? A new landscape or a sailing painting. Yes I am so excited to see that the Devils have the number one pick in the draft. It should be fun to see if they can draft some players that will help more Devils win more games.

Rae I bet Taz was a tired puppy. Doggie day care is good for the pups. I will be sending Luther tomorrow as it will be a rainy day all day and I just am not going out and get soaked when it is still cold. Glad you new diet is still so easy and satisfying.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... Well gloriously sunny here today!! Of course its not a hiking day LOL! Well I did end up going on the hike, I txt my SIL and she said it wasn't bad up their way so off I went and I packed my raincoat just in case. So glad that I did the hike, it was a pretty one although not all that long. If the weather had not been so grey and the clouds so low it certainly would have been even more beautiful. Some great look outs of the lake and valley! We did get one downpour of rain about 15 minutes into the hike, so we all stopped and put on our rain gear. It only lasted about 20 minutes and then it was rain free for the rest of the hike. I was home in plenty of time to get ready for my eyebrow appt. It took a couple of hours, but now I have eyebrows again that will never have to be tinted ever again!! So for those that don't know microblading is here is a link... https://www.microbladinglounge.com/...s5ubt9I5nuGJntB0f65kChOoV7UIZ4s-oEaAnGw8P8HAQ I am very happy with the results and go for a touch up in about 5 weeks to just fill in any spots that might have been missed. They will fade in a perhaps 3-4 years and so I might have to go back for a another touch up then, we will see.

Chris - So glad that your Gary had a nice birthday! Like Nancy said, how could he not with such a great family to celebrate with him!! Sure hope that your weather warms up soon!! We are expected to get nice and warm today with lots of sunshine, but it will be humid with all of the rain that we have had, so it will feel even warmer! Hooray!! I hope to get out for a nice walk sometime today! I am feeling much better today, cold is pretty much gone and my energy has returned thank goodness! Yikes Scott's car does not sound like it is doing so good, hope you don't get pulled over

Nancy - Thank you for the nice comments on my 52 Inspirations page! I have been struggling with getting all the pages that I need to get done, hopefully I can work on a couple more today! I hope that you are enjoying the Anna Classes you will be a real pro using her products, not that you aren't already! I haven't decided yet what to paint next, I really would like to do one for my bathroom, so I will have to check around and get some ideas. Hope that you and Luther are having a great day!

I need some coffee, so I will go and get that and then should be getting a face time call from DD today, they looked at two houses yesterday and I am anxious to hear how it all went. They are both right across from the school that Mason will be going to, so that would be awesome. So many bidding wars for housing though so I hope things go well for them! Ok off I go and I will check back here later to catch up.

Good morning, ladies. It's a beautiful sunny day here in BC. I'm going to make sure we get out in the sunshine later. Taz will enjoy going to the park. I've pulled bacon and chicken out of the freezer to make a big salad with greens, eggs, peppers and parmesan/ranch dressing for dinner. Last night I had a salad and hamburger patty/cheese/avocado/mushroom ready for my dinner and was heating up leftover casserole for Darrell when I dropped his on the floor, spilling it all over the place. Ugh. Of course, Taz was in there immediately trying to lick it up LOL. He did manage to grab a bit before I got him out of the way (with his allergies we have to be careful what he eats) but he was fine. I think his main allergy is to chicken, not beef. So Darrell ended up with a tv dinner and we joked about his gourmet meal. I always keep a couple of TV dinners handy for him. I hate them but he doesn't mind.

Chris - sounds like a wonderful family birthday celebration. How awesome about the greenhouse! You are going to love that. Glad to hear you are getting the vehicle this wkend.

Trudy - the microblading sounds great. I have fine thin eyebrows so I'm probably a perfect candidate for it. It's pricey here so it's not something I will jump on right now but will keep it in mind. The first thing I want to do this summer is get my (arm) tattoo . That comes first. Enjoy your chat today and hope they find a great home soon.

Nancy - how awesome that you get the Anna training for a year!

I see a lot of work has come in, so off I go.....have a great day everyone.
