Happy Thursday to everyone! How are you all? I am doing A-OK. 2 big mugs of coffee in me and I am ready for my day. Well, maybe I am exaggerating a bit. I am closer to G-OK, not A and I am about 71.3% ready to start my day.

My brain is feeling a bit clearer than it was yesterday morning. I was having such a hard time concentrating on anything that I was trying to do. But I got out of the house, dropped my almost-overdue library books off, cleaned, then was able to get a few things weeded and some seeds planted in the yard. I am really far behind with the morning glories being planted by the fence between my yard and my neighbors. Better late than never. Once they get started you can't stop them.

After I did all of that, I wanted to finish the scrap page that I had been working on a couple of days ago. My battery back up had fritzed out and even though I save anything I am working one over and over in PS, it somehow managed to corrupt the file. Instead of having a psd file with photos and layers and text, it was a flat psd file that was black and red. I had to start the entire LO from scratch and I couldn't remember how I did it. But I think I got it sort of close to what I had before. But I wasn't able to work on anything "new." Maybe next week? :noidea:

Caitlin's dermatologist appt was canceled. The Dr had an emergency and needed to reschedule for next week. She isn't happy about that at all. It gives me time to steam clean today but I have to get more of Floyd's meds from the vet first. The party is in 2 days and I am not even close to having anything ready. My brother is a doll and I feel bad that I don't tell him often enough how I appreciate him. He was at the warehouse yesterday picking up some things that I need for the party but was calling and texting me after 7 pm which is when my brain has shut down for the night. I need to email him today to say thank you.

Yikes. I think that I pooped myself out by typing all of this. I need more coffee! :cof3:

hugs!

Felis- Sorry to hear that your weather is so hot. It was pretty hot here in the afternoon but it is cold and drizzly again today. I love being barefoot but I neglect my feet when they are all bundled in socks for months and then I need to throw polish on my toes at the last minute. Hope that you were able to get all of the things on your to-do list finished and that you had time to scrap too.

It was a sweet, romantic day for us. Gary is a cutie.
We have terrible soil here, lots of rocks and poor drainage. We have a couple of raised beds and a large planter. We also put things like the herbs in pots so I can move them around the patio to get enough sun. I will give Floyd hugs from you today too.

Nancy- the day started cloudy and cool, but once the sun came out it was perfect. Are you loving the hockey games? How did Luther do at the vet? That reminds me when I am at my ve,t I need to make an appt for Ray- she needs a check-up and vaccinations. Poor thing is getting so old but still plugging along. Yesterday she was kind of prancing along with the other 2 silly girls.

OMG about the hot pepper! Poor hubby!
Moms never stop worrying, do they?

Trudy- sorry to hear that your weather is so strange too. I can't seem to regulate myself. I am so done with computers- isn't it weird that my post showed up again twice? I have no idea what is happening anymore. When PS got screwed up it also got rid of my actions that I had loaded, but not my styles. I spent so long yesterday trying to find which action I use for my resize for web. I have several of them but really only like one. I will never figure any of this out :loco:

Rae- did the driver update work on your tablet?

That is fantastic news about B being able to make tea!!! I know that sounds like such a simple thing, but it must make her feel like she can do something for herself. Makes me happy!! Give her a hug from me!
Poor Taz-- J is the same way, she thinks it is so much fun going for a ride but then when we get to the vet, so is -- No WAY!!! She used to be really good about the vet until she had her knee surgery. Harley- she loved going to the vet almost until the very end. Give him a belly run too!

Enjoy your days! xo

Hello ladies,
 I waving you hi from 19th century. We have some trouble with the local antenna and don't had web and also cell phone signal whole night and this morning too. My sister was so frustrated, but me not so much. Instead of the modern people my cell phone always remains forgotten at home. How see me with this things in my little pocket to run around my kittens :bump2: . But I missed to can't see what happens here. The good news is that I have two pages almost ready and hope to can finish them and post it tonight. It will be almost on the end of the time.

Nancy, did you found the airline that you needed? Hahaha, how bad for your husband and the hot pepper, good that you re find yours on time! In my family only dad like spicy, but he really like it so will ate it with pleasure. We read about the yesterdays game of Grigor and we are happy for his win, hope it was interesting to watch it! 4hrs is too long for me even if I liked the game. Which reminds me I have to finish season of Riverdale tonight, I'm so exciting! Can I ask you is it have some meaning or game of words at this name 'Jughead' ?! I feels like I'm miss something about this at translation.

Trudy, hope you had fun on your hike and I'm waiting to hear more details about it.

Rae, you are so right for the needs to push yourself to continue doing the regular things now, even with weak or no motivation! If you allow to the normal life tasks to falls out of the board, will be more difficult to take them back on a boat with all complications that happens around you now :fish2:. I'm so happy to hear for B's improvement! As her family for you probably it looks like they happened too slow, but be patient, today she can make her own tea, and next year at this time will have her own cafeteria, or whatever she want :thumb: !

Jean :hello: !

Chris, you are finished so much things yesterday, bravo! I'm so mad about cancellation of Caitlin's appt! Is her skin better? This is so irresponsible from the doctors side. Are you have opinion to go to another one or your health system doesn't allow changes?
Hmm, yes we all saw you have some issues with your computer, your post continue to be post double, but it isn't a big deal. It's far behind than the frustration from losing almost ready scrap page. How nice from the side of your brother to help about the party, deserve one lovely text message thanks! I think it's time to invite more members of your family to join at the organisation ;) . Sorry if I sounds like reproaching mother, but my dear, you should learn to ask for help!
Definitely give to Floyd hugs and kisses from me. To the puppies too!

Ok, girls is very hot afternoon here, so I send you all this awful hotness, let's have for everybody! :cof3:

Good morning everyone! I am up a bit earlier this morning and will be packing my suitcase today for my 6 days with the grands. We will meet my son in Nanaimo tonight for dinner and then continue on to Courtenay and say goodbye to DH. He will come up on Saturday and spend the weekend with us and meet me in Nanaimo again on Wednesday evening. It will be a busy week for us with lots of driving, but thats ok we might not get to do this ever again  Yesterday's hike was pleasant enough, just more of a good walk than a hike as it was all on level ground around the Cowichan Estuary. It was very chilly and very windy, but we still had a very nice time. Nancy and Jean would have loved it as It is habitat for up to 230 bird species. There were lots of Herons, Canada Geese and Swans with their young and saw a couple of Osprey and lots of turkey vultures flying overhead. So many little songbirds singing to us along the way. Here is a link if you would like to read a bit more about it.
http://www.cowichanestuary.com/ There is a very interesting video to watch if you are at all curious about this estuary.

Chris - It is very strange that yet again your post is showing up twice, but no one else's is LOL I think that you have some kind of gremlin messing around with your computer! You had a very productive day yesterday and I am glad to hear that your brain is not quite so foggy today! You should have been with me on our hike the wind would have blown all those cobwebs away :becky: I have done that many times where I go to save a scrap page and it gets saved as a flat image without the layers, so frustrating :frusty: I hope you manage to get more scrapping done in the next few days! Darn that is too bad about Cait's appt. it is disappointing to say the least for her! Why can't they arrange for her to see a different dr? Instead of making her wait :wait1:

Felis - Sorry to hear that you are still having issues with your internet and cell phone coverage! Oh well it sounds like its not bothering you in the least! You got some scrapping done too so that is always a good thing! Hope you are able to escape the heat of the afternoon and that it cools down for you in the evening to make sleeping easier!

Nancy - we are most likely cross posting again this morning, hope your DH's mouth is over the hot pepper incident! Sounds like you had a very busy day yesterday, hope you got everything accomplished and you found some cheap flights!

Rae - I am so happy to hear that B is able to make her own tea, I bet that she will have great improvements in the coming months! I know it seems to take forever, but even now just yesterday Heather was telling me that she can hold Hunter while standing up in the kitchen and getting lunch/supper ready, where she could never do that before. The brain is a very mysterious thing and it still amazes me that she continues to get better after 18 years! Holy Crap!! Has it really been 18 years?? So keep the faith my friend, all things are possible!

Hi Jean! I hope you are enjoying nicer temps today!

Off to the shower and then get myself another coffee before I drag the suitcase out from the crawl space and get packing up my clothes. What to take? The weather is so crazy, hot one day then cool the next, guess I better pack a little of everything. Have a great day ladies!

Good morning, ladies. Just got my June 52 Inspirations Challenge ready for tomorrow. Whew. Just at the last minute LOL. That seems to be my life lately. I'm too busy or tired to do anything and then I'm scrambling to get things done on time. Sure hope my life quiets down at some point.

Unfortunately, the insurance co. turned down Jens' request for the better, safer IV pulse treatment drug that she had applied for. She is still going to try over the next few wks (before the next round of the drug starts up). It causes infertility and other things and isn't as effective. Unfortunately, the other drug is thousands of dollars so none of us have the money for that privately. Even with partial coverage, it is going to cost Jen thousands of dollars.

Chris - sorry to hear C's appt was cancelled. How frustrating for her. Hope you figure out what your wonky computer is doing. I'm sure all the plans for the party will come together and work out great (it always does, doesn't it?). Glad your brother is helping. I think the wacom tablet is going to work again. I uninstalled it and then started over. But it is an old model so maybe it'll stop working again but it worked last night when I tried it. Fingers crossed. Don't want to have to buy another one right now.

Felis - glad the electronics problem hasn't bothered you much. Glad you got some time to scrap.

Trudy - enjoy your family time for the next week. I too would have loved the habitat. It makes me feel better when you tell me about all of H's progress over time. Yes, pack a bit of everything. Our weather is so unpredictable.

Nancy & Jean and everyone else - hope all is well.

I'm getting to work now. We'll be heading up to the hospital this afternoon so need to be sure to get all my work done before I go. Have a great day everyone.

Yesterday fringe effects of Alberto brought clouds and wind and a little less heat which was nice. Last night we even had those cool breezes. I said I'd scrap the wonderful owl puzzle that we did and here it is: https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=394340&title=relax-with-owls&cat=all. Thanks, Trudy, for your super comment.

Chris, you did get a lot done but the thing with the computer is too bad. I think even worse than losing the LO is some of your actions. And having your second post repeat is even stranger in my browser as the emojis about Gary are different in them. Wish Cait's appt weren't canceled but dr emergencies always bump the rest of us. Hugs to you as well as Floyd!

Felis, good for you for getting scrapping done! Having the internet down would have me crazy, but not for the phone as we don't have a smart phone at all. Hope Chris takes your advice about asking for help. I know nothing about Riverdale, but Jughead is someone from the comics (even older than me!) He is in Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jughead_Jones

Trudy, I'm positive I'd enjoy your hike area from yesterday. What beautiful photos on their site and a wonderful conservation story. It will be a busy weekend with the grands that I know you'll enjoy.

Rae, darn, what crummy news on the drugs. Sure hope the next try to get the change approved works. At least the Wacom tablet is cooperating for now, especially for getting the challenge done on time. Good for you!

Nancy hope you enjoyed the hockey and have been watching tennis.
