The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Thank goodness for somewhat better sleep last night.Whew! Of course, that meant that I had weird dreams that I was part of the BAU in Criminals Minds, but they were "real" not TV show actors. But as long as i was asleep, i don't care. I hate when I am so tired that I feel physically sick to my stomach.

It looks to be a beautiful last day of May, sunny skies and lower humidity. if I am up to it, I should go out and pull weeds after work. We'll have to see....

As for right now, I am working on another cup of coffee and I am attempting to get my butt moving.....

personals:

Laurie- I am with Phyllis on this one too. I will never, ever understand the "quirks" of technology.
Hope that you all get rain but in just the right amount.

Maureen- happy weed pulling :boink:
As much as vacations are wonderful, it is a good feeling to be back to "normal" again.

Phyllis- it is the "grass is always greener" I swear! I wish I had stick straight hair. I hate being a big ol' poof-head in the summer. :scared: <~ Faery in 90% humidity
Gary has super fine straight hair, always lays flat, looks shiny, only needs a quick comb through and he his done. me -- I fight and struggle and then give up LOL

Hope that the bumps are not poison ivy, I had it sooo bad last summer I couldn't shave my legs. Ewww! apple cider vinegar is supposed to be good. I usually use witch hazel and lavender essential oil to do on to help the itch.

Nana!! Its always soooo good to see you in here!
It means that the kids haven't tied you up too tightly hahahahah!!!
How did you do with the visit with your uncle? That is so hard, and I know how protective you must be of your mom. I have issues (not to the same extent at all thankfully) with my uncle on how he treated my mom after their parents passed.
Hope it was a good moment for you all. I am sure your parents appreciated the effort.

Trudy- argh!! I hate days like that!!!!!!!
No mojo here yet...... Wish I could find plenty to share. And you don't have poson ivy??? Add in one more reason for you to adopt me!!! We are covered in it, and I have gotten it so bad I had to get cortisone shots in my butt. (ouch and TMI)

Anyway, here is hoping that we all have greatdays!!!!

xoxo

ewwww. Chris, just reading about your poison ivy brings back bad memories. i had to take oral cortisone (which shot my blood sugar up to 200 for the duration of the pills....) and i had it for 6 WEEKS! i NEVER want to go through that again. but how do you do yard work without taking the chance?? Trudy, can i live at your house, too? or do you guys get poison oak? in the US, it's poison ivy east of the Rockies and Poison Oak west of the Rockies.

it's actually COLD right now. 48 degrees! "good sleeping weather," as my dad used to call it. yeah. if you CAN sleep. :twitch: does anyone else have a CROW problem? i hate them. i fantasize shooting one between the eyes. they like to begin gathering in my neighborhood around 5:45 a.m., screaming their heads off. and they did it again today.

i have to think of a BIG project to tackle today. maybe a closet clean-out and a trip to Goodwill.

have a Happy Thursday. do what you love.

CHRIS...........bwhahahaha!!! that sounds like crazy dreams I have...I had one the other night we went a trip to NewYork...I was going crazy trying to take photos and my camera wouldn't work...I opened the back and it had food in it and it was ruined!! THE BAU?? I would totally not want to do that....they deal with real crazy people!! and yeah...I think I was tied up...Mike found me and let me loose :pound:

Laurie.....sending you some motivation vibes sweetie....but now I don't have any..cause I didn't have much to start with

Morning ladies... :rain: again today and very chilly!! But my clematis love it and now the pink ones are blooming. Can't get any yard work done in this weather though. Well my day at work ended in me working a 91/2 hr shift as two ladies went home sick. I don't care if they are still sick today, there is no way I'm doing that again. My aching legs and back will not let me.

Chris - So glad that you managed a better sleep last night! With the weather being cooler here I have had a few really good nites sleep! Sounds like an interesting dream you had last night! Did you solve your case?? LOL . Hope you get to play in the garden today!!

Phylis - CROWS!!! Go ahead and shoot them!! Dam things are a nuisance aren't they!! Not too many right where I live I think the eagles scare them away. But we had them in the small town where I grew up not far from here. I think they gather to have a meeting in the mornings and who could ever sleep with all that noise??? I have never come across any poison oak, but that's not to say there isn't any here. I think it grows in drier areas and believe me its far from dry on the West Coast!! You and Chris can come and live with me anytime LOL.

Laurie - Hope you get motivated soon! Sounds like a very busy day for you! Thanks for the reminder about the Touch finale!! I will have to watch that for sure! Life is good isn't it!!

Eva - I remember those days!! Don't miss them!! Good luck with your teenager! It will get better, right about the time they turn 23 or so. :becky:

Nana Linda - :pound: on your dream about the camera!! But I think that is more like a nightmare!! Glad Mike untied you!! I'm glad that you did not have to deal with the visit with your Uncle, I think that you might have enough stress in your life without that!! How cool that you have turtles!! I have never seen one of those here, except perhaps ones in people ponds that they have purchased. Have fun at your ballgame tonight, how nice that you get to have your little Savannah with you again!

Well better get my butt moving, have a great day everyone

good morning all....what a day already...okay not really....i got to the park yesterday and took some cute pictures...now to find a kit to make a layout....i made a post about recommendations...hahaha i'll gladly take them!

Trudy...you probably have Poison Oak and Poison Ivy..just didn't know it..it's looks very pretty...but you have to actually be allergic to it to get it.....

I am not...I played in it tons of times when I was kid and just didn't know until an adult got excited over it..... I am lucky in that regard.

............but...........I still want to come live with you too

You need to put your foot down over that job....maybe it's time to look for another PART TIME job, since they do not seem to know the definition :biggrin1:

Hi Kristy...check Charlize's store...she has some really cutesy stuff...but then so many of the designers here do.....I will look in a bit if I get the time.

Eva - I remember those days!! Don't miss them!! Good luck with your teenager! It will get better, right about the time they turn 23 or so. :becky:

I love all the nice things I learn here at Oscraps - first you tell me menopause can last for 10 years and now this. I think I'm outta here :bolt:

Eva, just assume it NEVER gets better and you'll be OK. my kids were fine until they turned 25....

YOU CAN RUN....................................... BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!!!!!!! :evil2:

Lol, Eva! The rest of you shush - my kids are 1 and 3. I don't want to hear how bad it is going to get. ;)

My life went from crazy, to worse, to just-this-side-of-madness. Apparently I don't know any other way to live. I moved back to my house (that my husband and I designed and had built 3 years ago) and have put it on the market. That was a sad day, but I cannot afford to be sentimental about it. As a single mother, with only a minuscule income, I simply cannot afford it. There is a showing scheduled for tomorrow - any prayers and/or positive thoughts are more than welcome. I realize that houses typically do not sell overnight, but at the same time I know miracles really do happen... Fingers crossed we find a buyer before my money runs out. I would really prefer to sell it, rather than hand it over to the bank. :(

Anyway - as the stress level increased, my mojo disappeared. Imagine that. Finally, last night I was able to be creative for the first time in weeks and it felt good. I'm getting that itch to open PS again and do some more - but first, I have to get this house clean. It is amazing the mess that the 3 of us can make in such a short period of time!

I will try to come back for personals soon.

Awww, Stef, keeping my fingers crossed that your house sells very quickly!! Sorry you are going through such a rough time!!
