Boooo! It is another rainy day here in NJ. Yesterday was grey and misty in the morning but we had some crazy T-Storms in the afternoon and evening. I was worried about my baby plants but I think they all seemed to do ok, with only one exception and that wasn't the strongest of the plants to begin with.
I stopped at a small plant nursery on my way home from my friend's house and bought two different kinds of cucumber, thyme, and Italian parsley. I was able to get them into the ground and in pots before it rained.
I can't say that I got all that much done other than that. I started a page for a June Challenge, cooked shrimp scampi over linguine for dinner. I had one pan for just the butter/wine/garlic and one for the same for the shrimp and nothing touched each other or Cait wouldn't eat it. I got to play with the rats too. I don't technically have a favorite, but if I *had* to pick one, I think it would be Olivia. She is just so sassy. She is the smallest one, really tiny compared to her sisters, but she has some attitude. Hmm, maybe she reminds me of myself when I was younger. My dad called me the 5-foot girl with the 8-foot mouth.
Today, I am going to try to do some scrapping/Cheery O work, run over to the FP, laundry. I have a stack of old photos that my MIL gave me. Kay is getting me inspired to scan some of them.
It looks to be rainy/misty again, so no yard work for me.
Wishing everyone a very happy day!
