Boooo! It is another rainy day here in NJ. Yesterday was grey and misty in the morning but we had some crazy T-Storms in the afternoon and evening. I was worried about my baby plants but I think they all seemed to do ok, with only one exception and that wasn't the strongest of the plants to begin with.
I stopped at a small plant nursery on my way home from my friend's house and bought two different kinds of cucumber, thyme, and Italian parsley. I was able to get them into the ground and in pots before it rained.
I can't say that I got all that much done other than that. I started a page for a June Challenge, cooked shrimp scampi over linguine for dinner. I had one pan for just the butter/wine/garlic and one for the same for the shrimp and nothing touched each other or Cait wouldn't eat it. I got to play with the rats too. I don't technically have a favorite, but if I *had* to pick one, I think it would be Olivia. She is just so sassy. She is the smallest one, really tiny compared to her sisters, but she has some attitude. Hmm, maybe she reminds me of myself when I was younger. My dad called me the 5-foot girl with the 8-foot mouth.

Today, I am going to try to do some scrapping/Cheery O work, run over to the FP, laundry. I have a stack of old photos that my MIL gave me. Kay is getting me inspired to scan some of them.
It looks to be rainy/misty again, so no yard work for me.

Wishing everyone a very happy day!

Nancy- For real! A tornado warning by you too, really strange weather.
:frusty: What a PITA about the dog license. My town has that law too, that rabies needs to be up to date until Nov 1st. The town's free clinic is always the last weekend in October which was why I was so freaked out about having to take two of the dogs the same day as my ILs anniversary party last year. If I missed the clinic, I would not have been able to get the dogs' licenses until I paid to take them to the vet ($$$$!)
SMH that your DH couldn't believe what you were telling him. Men!
What is Blood and Treasure about? Next week A Handmaid's Tale is back for Season 3 and I am nervous about watching it-- each season it seems like the US is getting closer to Gilead. We also have NOS4A2 set to record.

Trudy- That doesn't sound good that the wildfires have already started, it seems like the season barely ended.
I can't wait to see the painting all finished, you are really knocking them out. Thanks for the anniversary wishes.
I bet that Nancy just wants the Cup to go to Game 7!

Jean- good job getting the article finished and sent off. Congrats on the A1c! That is always good news. Hope that today is warmer for you. The weekend here looks to be nice.

And I need to be off and running. hugs!

good morning - the fog is starting to lift and then sun which will lead to thunderstorms. We had more storms yesterday just as I was heading out to dinner. But by the time we finished the rain had pretty much stopped. Made it home in time to watch the Blues squeak out a win over the Bruins. Trudy asked who I was cheering for I am cheering for two players on the Bruins David Backes and Marcus Johansson but the Blues have never won a cup so I am cheering for the series to go 7 games. I still need my hockey fix. Now that the series is tied at 1 I know I will get at least 2 more games. Most of the time when hockey players are injured the other person says I did not mean to hurt him I was just finishing my check but in this series while I don't think they are trying to really injury the other team I do think both teams are trying to hurt each other so they can not play as effectively. I got two more pages scrapped and now have to upload. Had fun at dinner with my girlfriend and her daughter. Good catching up. Today is a few errands I have to get my license for Luther. So the vet visit was pretty interesting. If I told this sorry. But on Friday my son took Luther and they supposedly gave him shots but did not charge. Turns out they did the shots and they were so shocked that I would tell them that we did not pay that they gave us lots of coupons and discounts. So it did pay to be honest.

Chris so bad of me congrats on the wedding anniversary and congrats to Cait on her grades. That is awesome! Yes I am tired of rain. I got used to Florida weather of always sunshine and not jackets or coats. Glad your plants survived! Good for you and cooking and messing up two pans for one meal. Blood and Treasure is about two former lovers have to get together again to bring down a terrorist. There is action and humor. Seems like a fun show.

Trudy this last game was great but I want lots of games. A sweep would have been terrible for a Final. It will be interesting to see which players are left standing. Bruins have the been their before so I have no doubt that they will bounce back. That is terrible about fires already. Chris and I and the middle of our country would gladly send you the rain.

Jean congrats on the article! and I saw your new drawings. they are beautiful!

Have a great day all!

More gray and wet today. No end in sight either. We may do some shopping later if it isn't storming. Nothing special going on.

Chris, that is so nuts about having the two pans of the same stuff, one plus the good stuff. At least she still does butter. It was a nice dinner for the anniversary for sure. Good thing the plants stood up to the weather. Our neighbor planted some flowers Monday and we needed binoculars to see where some of them went after the rains as they are flat on the ground. Can you believe it is almost June? Just noticed buds on our silky dogwood that always blooms in June, so I guess I have to believe it.

Nancy, I only saw part of the hockey game, but it looked pretty rough out there. Hope they can last for 7 if it goes that far. How nice that your honesty policy got rewards! And Luther got his shots. What does he make of all this rain and stormy weather? Does he get fewer walks? Your pictures from Florida do show all that sunshine so it must be even more frustrating coming home to this weather.

Wishing sunshine for all.

Morning ladies... It is sunny and still a bit smokey out there today. I will get to the pool soon and get in my laps. DH has taken today and Friday off of work, so we will get the powerwashing done and then start to stain the fence tomorrow. Hopefully the sunny weather will continue for that! There is only the one side of the fence and the gate that need to be done, so it should not take too long to do it. Yesterday I had fun trying to complete my latest painting. I applied a coat of resin to it and it was going so well, until I tried to remove the tape and then I smushed one corner with my fat thumb :mmph: So now I will have to sand it down and re-apply another coat, I was so mad at myself!! Oh well it is what it is and I sure hope this second coat goes smoothly! Not much else for me to do today, so I might run out to the nursery and find some coleus to plant in a pot for my front porch. It is pretty much shadey all day so they always do well there. Other than that I need to do some behind the scenes stuff here today too.

Chris - Ugh you are still having :rain: that sucks!! So is Heather, although she said there was a bit of a break from it this morning. Poor Hunter, just wants to go outside and play on the deck  Yes the fires are burning in the next province, so far nothing for B.C.
as far as I know. I am sure it won't be long though. I hope you have a good visit with the nice lady at the FP!!

Nancy - The Bruins were not playing their game last night and it sure showed! Sure not liking how the Blues keep tackling our goalie :mmph: Wish they would just play hockey and quit trying to hurt each other!! I know you would love this to go for 7 games, but I hope it will soon be over LOL. So great that you were honest with the Vet!! It does pay off!!

Jean - Sounds like you are getting tired of the wet and soggy weather! Can't say as I blame you! I will try to send some sunshine out your way. Have a good day shopping if that is what you decide to do.

Ok I need to get my swim bag ready and get going with this day! Had a facetime with Heather and Hunter already, poor little man is grumpy today, just wants to go outside and play, but the weather is not cooperating. He wants to play out the front of the house, but because Heather can't chase after him he can only play out on the deck that is gated so he can't get out. That is not what he wants LOL!! Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning, gals. I have been hopping like a cat on a hot tin roof the past couple of days. Trying to get caught up on some CT scrapping that had to be done ASAP. A couple of my designers have some releases this weekend and needed pages. Also making sure I have my June challenge done and ready to go. Seems like it is always a rush at the end of the month and again at the beginning of the next. The challenges do spur the creativity.

Yes, I am still scanning in photos. Took a break for a couple of days and worked with some of them on a few new pages. Have a big bunch of photos from when we lived in Egypt to scan yet. Plus even more of our travel photos to do. Thank goodness we finally bought a digital camera in mid-2006 so already have them on the computer. And I am loving PSE2019 as it makes it easier to clean up some of the 'not so perfect' photos once they are scanned in. I usually do that when I am ready to make a page.

Chris, had to LOL over Cail not wanting any food to touch any other food. But that means you have to use a lot more pans when you are cooking. Glad you got some plants done and that they survived the rains. I am holding off doing mine as the winds are still strong at time. Maybe next week will be better.

Trudy, so sorry that you have redo the finish on that painting. Yep... I have been known to get a fingerprint on a few of mine. So happy your paintings are selling!

Jean, hope the weather clears up for you soon.

DD just called and is on the way over... so CYL

Good morning ladies,
thank you so much for the compliments on my LO here and under it! I'm so embarrassed to scrap myself, as I'm some selfish, self-love person, but the truth is that this is proviso from my sister to allow me to scrap her photos. She is kind of old fashioned and don't use social media for other than her business, so she also isn't much comfortable to let me scrap her pics, but I just love them, she is so pretty! So yeah, that's it I have to show myself, before to can show you her. And I won this gorgeous t-shirt from drawing and love it. The message is positive and fun in the same time, because first it is sooo british (you know about my love to the british rock culture) and second it's prize from company for Pads, so I found it fun.
I'm still feel blue, but in the new month I'll start on clear!

Chris, happy anniversary, and keep this treasure for many more years! Sorry, for the rain! I start feel as we live on tropics, with very hot days and rain at morning or dinner time. Hope this to not disturb your plants! Have fun scan and scrap!

Nancy, nothing surprising for me that you are act like that with the vet! But nice from their side to give you coupons and discounts. Hope to have your series from 7 games! I'm not familiar with the Songland, but I watch the Voice, usually it is not something I'm into it, but one of the singer this year have a really impressive voice and catch my interest. I'm not sure if you have a chance to watch ''Inspector George Gently'', but if you found it I think you will like this series!

Jean, I'm sure your article will be successful, because I know your diligence and attention to detail! Good news about the A1c, looks like you are on right way! Hope the weather to allows you to do some of your purchases!

Trudy, your kids are sooo sweet! I can see the little Hunter in his raincoats to play in puddle. This weather is boring for kids and pets! Ouch, for the fingerprints onto your painting! Sounds as you and Gary will have busy weekend again. It's so cute how you do projects together! Have fun!

Kay, it's wonderful that you are in creative mode and have your scraping mojo high!

This reminds me that I was so bad at commentating in the gallery this month, sorry girls! I saw few of yours wonderful pages, just not mentioned it! Hope to fix that soon!
