OMG- I almost had to ask myself what the date was and caught myself as I did so. It is Scott's birthday and *literally* 5 minutes ago, I joked with Gary that at this time 24 years ago (!!!!!!) we were stuck in traffic trying to get to the hospital. :D
My brain is not functioning at full speed. All of 4 us were trying to desperately have conversations last night at dinner with a pretty impressive failure of speaking English. Not even intellectual-level English. We were talking about memes and Spongebob and could barely get coherent sentences out. Bwuhahahah!!!!

Ready to do some shoulder rolls today?
Breathe in, and raise the shoulder to your ears. Stretch them back (shoulders not ears!) and then down, relax them as you breathe in and out. Bring them back up- then back and down. Take one more breath in and then slowly release.

We have a mother pretty and sunny day. The temps are still on the cooler side but that keeps Gary happy ;)

I had a good and relatively busy day yesterday. I got some bills paid, still two more to go, and the dental insurance one is killing me since we can't even use it! I made BFFs card and have the idea of what I want to do for Leah's grad. Shop Rite is all done and I will be able to get it tomorrow. I also spent some time in the yard. It was nice in the sun but when I was in shade I was happy to have layers on.

Today I am going to do some baking-- a cake for Scott and Leah and some homemade bread for dinner. Leah is coming here today so we will celebrate her grad and his b-day together.

That is about it! Wishing everyone a fab day!

Trudy- Poor Mason, it must be so hard on the little ones. Do he and Hunter share a room? I hope that he felt better after some time in his fort. (Wouldn't we all??) That is too bad about the rain, were you able to get out for your walk?
I hope that you are able to get out to see your kids soon.
I love the colors in Avatar too-- was thinking about making some green and blue drinks of some kind :)

Kay- how is the BP doing today? Staying on track without having to adjust the meds?
That is great news about the grace period, but why they don't simply mail the bills earlier makes no sense to me.
Thank you, he did so good! *proud mama*
Tindamax used to trigger headaches in me that were almost as bad as migraines, used to get those too but not in a long time *knocks wood* My family is loud so I felt his pain, his face was not happy. Great to know that yours stopped, not fun!
Tree pollen here is very hug and my eyes are sticking like mad. Hope the winds die down to your allergies calm down too.

Jean- that is such a bummer about the art exhibit being canceled. :( But wow, you sure have been busy! I know that feeling of not getting anything done. but when you look back at all that you did, I hope you see how much you accomplished.
How fun to have a COVID version of your puzzle up game! How long did you wait to help DH out? One of the local bars is doing a virtual trivia night and I passed that on to Cait. I am really impressed with how so many people are adapting.
Your scrap page is beautiful!
Enjoy all of your Zooms today.
Wouldn't it be fun if the Ooos all had theme nights with us!

xoxo

Good Morning ladies... it will be a rainy afternoon here, but so far there are a few patches of blue sky out there. I will have to be quick in here this morning, my sister Wendy and I are off to my sister Pam's for a social distant visit. We will travel in separate vehicles and pack our own lunch and spend some time catching up on things. I will also be able to get some more eggs from my sister. :hungry: Her chickens lay the best eggs!!! She feeds them very well and what a difference it makes in the taste! Yummm!! So no painting will get done today. I am about half way done and it really is turning out great! DH and I will be busy doing a lot more this weekend.

Chris - Thank you so much for the shoulder rolls this morning! It is just what I needed for my poor stiff, achy shoulders and arms. Who knew that pushing a wheel barrow filled with wood could make you so darn sore LOL. :HapBirth: to Scott!! I hope he has a wonderful birthday! Totally understand the brain fog, some nights I feel the same way and can barley carry on a conversation with my Gary. He talks all day long at work, so he can't understand why I have trouble especially after a couple glasses of wine LOL. Hope your homemade bread and birthday cake turn out delicious!!

Kay - Sure hope your allergies are not acting up today! Glad you got the grace period with your bills and hope that your BP is great today also! Hooray for getting what you needed at the store! Thanks for the nice comment on my kitchen re-do on facebook, yup it is keeping me busy!

Jean - My goodness you have been a very busy lady! Too bad about the exhibit being cancelled that is sad!! Isn't it strange when you have been so busy, but feel like nothing got accomplished!! I have some days like that too! Love, Love your scrap page!! So pretty and that Card is just stunning!! You are so talented!! She will love it I am sure!

Ok I better get a lunch packed and get my other morning chores done. Not sure if I will get a face time call today or not, it looks like a beautiful sunny warm day out in Ontario, so hopefully the kids are playing outside! Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon, my dears!
Finally we have wonderful rainy day. I hope this to give me some inspiration to scrap! Previous days temperatures also was nice, so we spend them into the garden, weeding and replanting. I was done too tired and bored to came here and post. Today is the first day of many, when I feels a little bit more inspired. The rain bring calm, and most of the morning we was watching my sister's traveling photos. (I'll scrap some of them sometimes when this will not looks kind of cynical). They are so sad to be separate, and to have canceled all plans they had already scheduled! She was showing us the place where was supposed to be this month.
I miss the feeling to be in love! To fill every free minute with thoughts for something sublime and tempting. I want my midnight thoughts to be about the sunny afternoons and some handsome man, who playing football at the park, in his ridiculous short short shorts. Innocent as a little boy who enjoy the play, the pleasure of movement and the complacence of his own skillful. Sly man who know how everybody will be hypnotized from the movement of his legs, the other men from it accuracy, and the women from this allurement. I wish desire for someone like him to was the fundamental ingredient of my existence!
Not these toneless regular thoughts about one boring daylife. Human brain is a powerful weapon, which unfortunately can be used also for self-harm. When your heart don't have food to give for the brain's night wanderings, the starving brain start to create pictures of fear not of pleasure. And then the insomnia is nothing good! It makes me melancholic and I want to come and talk, but don't have nothing to share, and no reason to repeats things I'm already described better before.

Chris, happy birthday to Scott!:party::tea: I hope the things at the world will settle down and then he will be able to shine in his full potential at this new year! I saw in IG that Leah is happy with her good painting sellings this month, congrats!
I'm relieved to hear the good news about Tat!

Trudy, the airlines here are actually very kind and accurate in offering refunds and vouchers. It's a hard time for them too, especially the small companies, who know when if they are able at all, to get back on profits. I'm laughing on your description of needing weekly trip to cross the country, I don't realize fully the difference in distances in different countries, as here we are able (and I'm did it multiple times) to cross the whole country for a half day. WOW, this will be very challenging, but memorable, so I hope you'll did it!
Have fun on your sisters meeting!

Kay, hope the blood pressure stay in borders! How strange, and very curious, did the weather or stress affect you? Fingers crossed fires to not happens, as nature was too cruel already this year! Oh, these HOA are so ridiculous, you must send back to them refined but arrogant answer, how you are more concentrated to stay away from dangers, instead to risk to go out and bought some stupid weed control spray! LOL.

Jean, so sorry to hear that the alumni exhibition was canceled! People here are so thirsty for that after the lockdown, but for now are allowed only photography exhibitions, as many towns have bridges and special places at the parks for outside exhibitions. Sounds like busy and very interesting week for the genealogists. Have fun!

Nancy, I hope your weather is from kind you'll enjoy! Tonight is the final of 'Hell's kitchen', and I like both finalist, so I'm very excited to watch that.

PS: OK, looks like these guys :tea: drink tea (what?!) , but in my eyes this is a beer cheers, so looks on them as beer cheers when I'm using them. Oh and I thought this for unicorn for a long time :flypig:.

Quick in and out today. Need to get the laundry sorted and done... change sheets and towels... will be a 2 day chore to get them all done.

Just discovered that it might not be my allergies causing my cough. Read on-line that meds for high blood pressure could cause a chronic cough in a small number of patients. Checked it out on WebMD and it is true. Made me think back to my first bad coughing spell - when in the hospital after starting BP med. Coughing off and on all day and is waking me up 2-4 times a night now. Beginning to hate the cough drops but that is the only thing that calms it down enough so I can sleep between coughing spells. No temp and coughing has gone on now for over 2 months so know it is not the dreaded virus. I sent a PM to my doctor asking if it could be the BP Rx. Would be a relief if an RX change would stop the coughing.

Trudy, I am amazed at what a difference the white paint made on your cabinets. WOW... so much brighter than the brown. Know you will be glad when that job is finished.

Chris... was LOL that you almost forgot it was Scott's Birthday... Son#2's birthday is in 3 days - thank for reminding me so I won't forget his.

Felis, I didn't have to go to the store for the weed killer. I had a recipe for a home-made one. Dug out the ingredients yesterday and mixed it up. Put some in a spray bottle and spent time spraying the weeds that afternoon. Will let you know how well it works. It has vinegar, Epson salts, and Dawn dishwashing soap.

Hope all of you have a good day.

good afternoon - Happy Birthday to Scott and congrats to Leah on her graduation!
Have been busy scrapping and enjoy the weather. Actually bright sun today and yesterday there was enough sun that the walks were awesome as the wind has also lessened. Went to a different park today and it is nice that all the parks now have arrows on the paths so that all of go in the same direction. On week days the parks have a lot less people and dogs, I am guessing that kids are in school and people are working. We go around 10 am as that give time for it to warm up a bit. Yesterday I listen to several podcasts that were very interesting. Tonight is a Q&A with another Devil player. He is a very thoughtful and so this should be very interesting.

Chris again have a great day with all the celebrations! I have to say that for a change I have not had the heat on but just my little space heater when needed. Have fun baking. Hope the rat is doing better. I am so amazed what vets can accomplish.

Trudy sorry about the rain. Have fun with the sisters. So sad that you have to go in separate cars - want this distancing to end! That was a cute story about Mason and his fort! Everyone needs a little quiet. Glad you kitchen redo is going so well.

Kay glad your BP has stabilized again. That is interesting about the cough side effect. It is always good though a chore to have clean sheets.

Jean OMgosh you are one busy woman! Glad you are being kept busy! Sorry the art show cancelled. Enjoy the lectures! Glad warming up for you too! Thanks for the comment on white ibis. Love that you unload on us!

Felis glad you are having such nice weather and can work in the garden. You are a romantic at heart that I can tell from what you write.

Gratitudes
