It might be very cloudy outside right now, but man, I am seeing a lot of green! It is like the trees got their leaves all at once.
I was in kind of a mood on and off all day yesterday but I think that I kept it under control.
I dropped Cait and her friend off at school in the morning. Her friend has epilepsy and can't drive so Caitlyn picks her up and drops her off frequently. I decide to go the to dollar store on the other side of the highway so if I need to go to the dollar store near the school I can do that after dropping the friend off. It took me a half hour just to get to the store. I was *so close* and then there must have been an accident between a U-Haul and a bucket truck. The road was shut down both ways so everyone was turning around. I had to snake my way through the back roads to get to the store. When I go there, I blanked on what I needed/wanted to get to make the gifts. But I picked up a few things and I will get started on that this morning and hope that I can pull it off.
When I got home, I had to pay bills which puts me in a worse mood than food shopping. ound:
As I had predicted, I said screw it and I spent 2 hours outside in the afternoon, clearing leaves from another section of the yard and a small rock garden. That helped my brain reset itself. Whew!!!!
Scott seemed to really enjoy his first day at the Ecology Center. It is too bad that it isn't a paying gig. He helped a woman take a group of school kids on a hike, and they checked out plants and mega invertebrates. I think that is what he called them. at any rate, he had a blast being in the woods and the hike leader loved that he knew so much about plants and bugs.
He also told me a bit about his job at the garden center. yes!! He got the job!! I am not surprised since he heard about it from the manager of Eden Farms who set the interview up with the owners. He seems very impressed with this nursery and he will be working in the perennials greenhouse. It is a bit farther than his college and is hoping that he can do 4 10-hour days so he has one day a week to volunteer. And he also wants to squeeze in the 6 hours/week at his college greenhouse.
I am sad that I won't see him again for the next few months. LOL
Today, I am going to try to figure out how I am going to make this painted bottles and pray it doesn't end in a Pinterest Fail.
Cleaning this afternoon and then deal with the ever-annoying "What am I going to Cook for Dinner?" I should make that a game show. heh!!!
Have a spectacular day!!!
