Are we ever going to see the sun? I saw a quick peek of it yesterday, so I know it still exists. More clouds and rain today. Is it any wonder why every joint and muscle aches?:faint2:

I got lots accomplished yesterday. Well, maybe not lots, but I did finish the gifts for Mother's Day, they came out super cute. Its on my to-do for today to take some pics, so I'll share them here.
Today I am cleaning here and then for a client in the afternoon. Babysitting am and pm. Then my butt meets the couch!

'Zilla just showed up so I am going to sign off.

Chris, i'll give your message to the sun. we're supposed to have some today, but only 62 degrees. i have a ton to do around here over the next few days. the d&^%$# edging outside, and my ENTIRE house needs cleaned. not to mention the ironing downstairs. on days like this, i almost can't get myself started because of everything i have to do. oh, well. one step at a time....

morning ladies- my day off- I will try to soak up some sun for you, but it is chilly here and I will need to wear a long sleeve shirt- brrr. I need to mow lawn, finish home blessing and finish many layouts and uploads- I really need to stop procrastinating. I worked 2hr over to finish up paperwork last night- got a pizza hut pizzone for dinner (all bread- blech) and never turned the computer on when I got home. MMG sent me flowers at work y'day- thanking me for a wonderful vacation! Love that man- he is a keeper.
 
good heavens, Laurie! do you know where i can get another one of THOSE (your hubby)???? :noidea::thumb:
 
Morning ladies quick :plane: for me today, I am just so not in the mood to go to work, but it is the last day and then we are off to Nanaimo again to shop for a new suit for hubby and something for me to wear to the Memorial Service. Sorry if I have been sort of MIA here, but I just can't seem to get into being too talkative in the gallery. We are having a large gathering here at our house for Mother's Day, wish my kids could be here too, but sadly its just too damn expensive. They are upset that they can't make it to the service, but when you live far away, you have to realize that you can't get to everything. :hurt:

hugs and prayers for you Trudy- you have to be where you have to be and I think you are spending your time/energy where it needs to be.

Phylis - the funny thing about the flowers, a co-worker came in to interrupt me while I was treating a pt (one that she sees for aquatic therapy) and said-" I don't normally interrupt therapy sessions to show a picture but I just had to share this one" I looked at the photo of flowers on a desk and said "oh your husband sent you flowers- that is great" She then said they weren't hers and who did I think they were- I couldn't guess and then realized they were mine- she took the pic to send to her husband and let him know I get flowers for no special reason!! Guess I should make a layout out of that!
 
Trudy, soSO sorry to hear about your BIL's passing. i will pray that your SIL will find some peace. this is so sad.

here's what's going to be MY Mother's Day: one kid halfway around the world will probably SKYPE me with good wishes. the other one, 5 miles away, will ignore it and me. my husband? ya just never KNOW what his take on Mother's Day will be.... :attention:

Phylis- I have boys- who knows if I will hear from them. I will probably make my dh take me out to brunch somewhere
