First off, I am taking a deep breath and sending an enormous amount of love and healthy thoughts to Remi and Rae. I am heartbroken that you are going through this and I wish I could make her better. ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) I know that won't be online while you care for her, but please know that I am thinking of you! Keep us posted if you can.

I feel so terrible that I have good news to share and I am not sure if I should. I know that I have said to others here that we share the good and the bad so here I go. My good news isn't anything all that amazing but I got an appt for the vaccine this morning! Soon after I got mine booked, my brother called me, and after my heart stopped a bit (why would he call me at 7.30 am unless it was bad news?? Yikes), and he has one booked. The same day, same time, mine is at the Ringwood CVS, his is at the Ledgewood one. We are just a few letters off. :p Our parents are going to be thrilled! One of my first thoughts was that in six weeks I can HUG MY MOM!!!!!!!
As soon as I was done, I tried to get one for Caitlyn but the spots were gone. I will keep trying.

My emotions have been *all* over the place in the last couple of hours. Now I am all pooped out.

Much of my day was spent struggling with the taxes for Scott. There is nowhere to put in the Bitcoin sale. He only sold a couple hundred dollars and has the records for it but there isn't a tax form. TurboTax Home doesn't have a place to enter it, and no matter how much I searched online to answers, all I got was that the IRS treats it like the sale of property. A couple of hours later and my brain broke. I am going to keep poking around to see if I can figure any of it out.
I am truly exhausted right now and my brain is buzzing, not in a good way. I am going to end this here and wish all of you a fab day! Hugs!

Kay!!! Wonderful news about the ring! So sorry to hear about the moving issues for your Son-IL. Cute that you ran out in PJs and a sweatshirt to get the package. I am sure he was very appreciative.

@taxed4ever How exciting for Heather, all of my fingers and toes are crossed that she can get a job. I am guessing this is something that she can from home? Good luck deciding what to get for your b-day. My version of PS is old and getting really slow and I looked at CC. It's ridiculous how expensive it is to pay monthly but I imagine it would be worth it.

@Cherylndesigns I belong to my town's FB group and often see pics of bears on porches and decks. One time Gary opened our front door to let the dogs out and there was a cub sitting on the front step, right by his feet! The mama was on the patio a few feet away, sniffing the garbage can. He stepped back into the house, closed the door, said to the dogs that they had to wait LOL Good Cici- making sure that the kids know that no friends means no friends unless up by you. And this is when being a dictator comes in handy ha!!!

@scrap-genie bet the sun felt good yesterday. Did you see the photo of the starling murmuration (yes, I had to look that up!) that is on Social media today? I saw it and thought of you-- it was amazing!
Here is a video of it forming on Yahoo News

Rae- again, I am so sorry and hope that Remi is ok.

@LSlycord It has been so frustrating to find appts. I am in a FB group for NJ that helps find appts and I follow a bot on Twitter that posts when there are openings in NJ. Is there something like that for FL? Although I hear if you donate a lot of $$$ to DeSantis you have a better chance of him setting a pop-up vax center by you. Grrr. I hope that you get it taken care of soon. Andie is adorable!

@nancyr You have been busy getting stuff done, good for you! I just realized that I can my hair cut and colored in 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not had it done since November 2019! (it's bad, really bad...) I am amazed and not in a good way at all about TX and MS either.
Oh man, the soon-to-be-ex sounds like he's a terrible person. I am glad that the kids are holding up ok in spite of him being a ****.

@felis it must be fascinating to live in a country that has such a long history. The US has it too but the people who took it over when they colonized tried to get rid of most of the original people and history. (puts soapbox away quickly)
Hope the weather is still nice for you so you can be out with the kitties!

Good morning ladies... I tossed and turned all night thinking about poor Remi and poor Rae!! Rae and her family have gone through so much these past couple of years!! Come on Universe give this family a break!!!! Sending all of my love and good thoughts to them! Not much happening here with me today, except for going to swim my laps at noon and picking up my grocery order after that. It is our sweet Sadie's 11th birthday today and I will face time with her before she heads out to her swimming practice. They are one busy household so I have to schedule an appt. to talk with them LOL. I was happy to hear that the card I made for her arrived in time. I feel bad that I only sent some money for her birthday, but she really did not know what she wanted for her birthday, except for some clothes for her dolls. Our son told us to just send money and she will have fun spending on things she likes. I can't believe she is eleven years old already. I feel like I am missing out on so much with them! I did get a page started yesterday afternoon and hope that I can complete it today. Usually by the time I finish talking with Heather and Hunter and I get my morning chores done, its time to get to the pool and the rest of the day is over before I know it. Crazy how I got so much more accomplished when I was a working Mom LOL.

@faerywings - Chris isn't it just so sad about poor Remi! Who would have thought that azalea leaves were that toxic! I had no clue! I am so happy for you though that you got your appointment for your vaccine and your brother did also! It will be at least another month before I will get mine. Thanks for the good thoughts for Heather and yes it will be a job that she can do from home, she probably won't get anything for a bit yet as travel is still pretty frowned upon for us Canadians. Hopefully soon though! Sure hope that you get Scott's taxes figured out! Is there a phone number you can call for some help with this?? Ya I know, who wants to sit on the phone for hours!! No one has given me any thoughts on my post about the Photoshop issues, so I will have to start searching around the internet perhaps for some help. Still not sure I really need a new computer, this one has been so awesome, but is getting slower and does not like it when I use Bridge to view my scrapping supplies.

@LSlycord - I am doing the happy dance with you and so glad that you got your vaccine appointment!

@nancyr - You have been busy! How nice to be getting your hair done and not having to get it coloured! I am getting to that point also where I am thinking I should just let it go grey, too scared to just yet though LOL. It sure would be a lot less expensive! That is crazy that TX and MS are lifting all restrictions!! How many more people will have to die in the States?? Yes my Gary and I were watching the game last night, not much cheering going on, oh well maybe next game they will do better! I hate shoot outs!!

@scrap-genie - How nice to have the sunshine! Sure makes a body feel better! Hope you got your February project completed!

@bcgal00 - Sending you lots of hugs and well wishes! I can't tell you how sorry I am that you are going through yet another heartbreak!! ((((hugs))))!!

@Cherylndesigns - I sure hope that bear doesn't put his big ole face in your window either!! I saw a post yesterday of someone reporting a garbage can in their backyard that did not belong to them, looked like a bear dragged it away and then gave up trying to get it opened. Looks like it was modified by the owner and no one was getting into this garbage bin LOL

@felis - Wow you really do have a lot of holidays!! Too bad they weren't days off from work also! Thanks for the info on the Instagram link! Hope that you are having a lovely day/evening!

Ok I am off to get my bed made and empty the dishwasher, should be getting a call soon from Heather, so that always brightens my day! Have a good Thursday everyone!

Good morning ladies. @faerywings Chris...such good news about the vaccine.

I’ll keep this short. I’m not online much. I take Remi to the animal hospital each morning at 9, they test, give IV fluids and meds to help with the dangerously high fever, vomiting, lethargy, etc. I pick her up at 4:30 to bring her home and give her body a rest as the vet says her little body needs some time off the IV each day. I stay with her all night, lay on the floor with her as she chews a toy and then starts to get tired and fades so she is in her crate by my side and then at bedtime the crate goes on the side table next to me so I can put my fingers thru the crate for comfort. They now think it isn’t the azalea bush toxin as that shouldn’t cause such a dangerous fever. They don’t suspect Parvo. They don’t know yet why her body is shutting down. They think the next few days will either give some answers or she will pass.

So, I’ll be offline for awhile if things get worse or if they improve I’ll come let you know. I’m exhausted, heartbroken and just can’t deal with life right now. Thx for all your prayers and good thoughts. BFN

Rae, my heart is breaking for you and Remi.... I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

I was off and running this morning. Drove over to the base to pickup meds and groceries. Said more than a few words when I got to the gate to see it was closed. So backtracked a couple of miles to get to the main gate that was open. Only stood in line about a couple of minutes to pick up the meds. And the commissary had very few customers and most of us were senior citizens wearing masks and keeping distance from each other. Saw several older men shuffling around and looking lost as they moved through the aisles... made me think of how my hubby would have been if I was gone. Home and groceries put away by noon. The storm is moving in - snowing on the mountain and the wind is picking up now - so glad I got my trip done this morning.

Yes, Chris... I am sure I looked funny in a long sweatshirt that reached down to the middle of my thighs with PJ pants on Tuesday evening. Glad there was a porch light on so was easy to see the package. I got it sent off to DSon-in-law early yesterday morning and he will have it by tomorrow. CONGRATS on getting your appointment for the vaccine. Also congrats to Linda for getting her appt for hers. I get my 2nd shot on Thursday - so am planning on taking the rest of the week/weekend to recover.

Wow... the wind is really blowing... lights flickered so going to sign off.

Good evening my lovely friends. I'm all over the place with my emotions too after reading about your trials and tribulations. Isn't this what it's all about? To be able to share in our joy and our sorrow. Rae, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Chris, great news about the vaccine.

Our first night (as me being Cici The Dictator) went without a hitch! I don't think I told you that we also had their mini Golden Doodle, Lila. She has never slept over, but loves being here and she was a champ last night. Never had a minute's trouble and today I took both of them for a long walk. Daisy is "a runner" so she has to stay on her long leash. Lila isn't, so she gets to trot along beside us. Daisy keeps looking at me like "why can't I run like Lila?" I tell her it's because she would be gone down the hill. I got a few decent pictures of the two of them today, but need to edit them. I hope I can scrap them.

It was nearly 70 here today, windy, but definitely feels like spring.

I posted my "unclean" birthday challenge last night and haven't gotten scolded yet, so I hope it's okay. I still need to add the header and clean it up. The header isn't even posted yet, so I did the best I could. At least, it's started.

It took us almost an hour to drive to where I had high speed internet to download files, today. What a PITA this is. I can't believe how much time I spend - between driving to wifi and putting up with SLOW connection from my hotspot. I will probably have a few hours of free time when we finally get our high speed internet.

Group hug and waving hi to all.

Hello girls!

OMG, I absolutely wasn't read about Remi! I get back and edited my post as it was foolish joyful! Rae, stay strong dear, I hope they will can save her! You have my thoughts and healing vibes! It's really so sad and scary!

I'm back and I'll be more concentrated at O, as I'm excited for the upcoming party! Yes it was a long row of holidays, the weather cooperates and everything turns so well, that I thought yesterday that I'm feeling completely happy for first time after September. If I have to be honest that's scared me! It's like after March 2020 we all learned to live on tension. But now live run to get back to normal, there is few new concerts announced, bars and restaurants are reopened. Now I'm praying to get back to full working week! On a theory, LOL, as on practice I'm so lazy these days and the spring fatigue hits me with full size. Today I spend the mostly day gardening, but next few days will have rain and I plan it to take it easy and get back to my hobbies. I wasn't able to crochet, but I'm very excited to see Cheryl's elephant! @Cherylndesigns :)

Now I'll combine few day notes.

Chris, you are hero, darling, to know how and to have energy to deal with these taxes! I'm always surprised how your government allows this to be made without specific education.

Trudy, Happy birthday to Sadie! Fingers crossed for Heather to get that job! I'm absolutely not surprised that your hubby have a new project about the fireplace! I love your style, it's always so classy! Hope you will find something to fit!

Linda, I watched so fun videos after your idea for dogs translation. Thanks for share it! I learned something new!

Kay, it's so good to find back sentimental jewelry!

Nancy, our president is also against masks wearing. Most people consider them as a form of taken out our freedom and agreement with the plan of capitalists to put the society to live in poverty. But then people are been rude with my mom because she was wear mask outside on the Liberation celebration, and that's angry me a lot! I can accept to rebel against form of control, I support that, but be kind with people who are scared to put themself in risck! Gosh! I need this face with taped mouth emoji!
I'm so sorry for your son's troubles! Her ex is jerk and deserve she to play hard and take all his money! Is that possible at your law system?! I hope so!

Cheryl, Congrats for Braden! And I just love this post I saw on IG! What a lovely family!

good evening -
Rae still sending prayers for you and Remi!

OMgosh spring is coming! Today on my walk with Luther I saw my first flowers - little yellow flowers. Don't know what they are but hey they are blooming flowers! I nearly had a heart attack on my walk with Luther. Luther does not like little white dogs. There are two houses that have them and they bark at Luther and he barks back. Well as we were nearing one of the houses a young boy came out walking the two dogs. He was walking them across the street. I just slowed Luther down to give plenty of space. Well those two dogs were barking and one broke away and came straight for Luther. OMgosh there was nothing I could do. I could not run. They were barking and growling. Felt so bad for the poor kid. He picks up the one dog and comes over to get his other dog. Of course as this was happening a car slows down. I was sure they were going to blame Luther but he was just defending. No blood was drawn. Once he got the leash he could just pull his dog away. Luther and I just continued the walk. But it took awhile for my heart rate to slow down. Now watching my Devils play the Rangers. These are the worst to watch as they are the rival team. Just got off an hour talk with my oldest. He is so happy. Work is good. Also got great news as my DH came home and said he got his appointment for his vaccine. His first shot is tomorrow. Makes me a happy camper.

@faerywings Chris congrats to you and your brother on getting the vaccine appointments! The 6 weeks will fly by. You should be happy to share this good news. The more that get the vaccine the more appointments will become available for the next groups.

@taxed4ever Happy birthday to Sadie. The time just flies. Have fun trying to decide what you want for your birthday. I am always loving a new computer. I know it will have the new operating system and plenty of space.

@BrightEyes Kay I hope the storm does not dump snow but a least in March it should disappear fast. Glad the trip to get meds and groceries went well!

@LSlycord Linda congrats on the appointment! I love hearing that so many are getting appointments.

@Cherylndesigns congrats on making one night as the dictator. Lila sounds so cute! I always am amazed at those that can walk 2 dogs at once. I find one more than enough LOL.

@felis Thanks so much for the kind words about my son's situation. She has done all she can and has gotten all she can so now with pandemic it is really a waiting game to get in to even see a judge. It will happen.

Waving to all!

Oh yes I've been in torture with this lack of wifi. My hotspot gets me online but that's about all! I had to drive to download some files today and it took me one hour! I spend so much time without wifi. It was fun walking the dogs today. I have to keep Daisy on a leash, but Lila runs along beside us. They're best friends already. Those kids know who the boss is. LOL They check in or stop in and come over to eat. We have food - that gets them every time. Hahaha

@nancyr yes The Dictator still rules!! I cracked up today when I got texts from the kids on the "Dictator Group Text". They know they better behave and that I have ears like a hawk. I can hear my grandson's truck anywhere on the property. Hahaha
