:bliss: I made it through the two worst months of the year!! And you all did too! We are awesome.

Sadly, our sunny and warmish weather is gone. We are back to rain and snow today and tomorrow. Snow forecasts are all over the place with one saying 4-8 and another 3-6" I hate that it is going to happen on Friday since both kids have to commute that day.

I had a pretty much bomb of a day. My Tindamax Headache was bad. I didn't want to take the new Rx before we took the car to the shop and the one dose did nothing. I took a second dose when I got home from cleaning, and it took the edge off like last time but still not 100%. It is still lingering bit today but it is dealable w/o meds. Whew!

I am so freaked out about the car. We have to decide how much money is worth putting into it but if we don't we sure as heck don't have money to get another. Maybe they will call today and say it is a quick and easy (and INEXPENSIVE) fix. *fingers crossed*
I tried to work on a scrap page for one the March challenges but didn't get much of anything accomplished. I barely scrapped any pages at all it seems.

Gary has an appt with his endocrinologist this morning to get his blood sugar results read from the chip. He doubts he will have any worthwhile info from it since they won't stay inserted into his skin. Each one fell off after 3 days. Ray has her appt with the vet to look at that weird skin tag/growth. Cuz you know-- it has only been a week since I was last at the vet. SMH!

I hope that your day is fantastic and happy!

Darn it, my computer shut itself down and restarted right in the middle of my post. I still cannot figure out why it is doing that.

I am going to have to run through quickly-- sorry about that! :sorry:

Nancy- Yay to your Devils!!! Hope that they keep that momentum going. Stay dry today!

Trudy- sorry that you got rained out of your hike again. How nice of you to corral your neighbor's dogs-- twice!

Rae- :high5: for getting all of that work done! My first dog ate through cords all of the time (she is also the one who ate through sofas LOL) so Gary was able to replace it temporarily and we ordered a new cord.

Jean- I though tof you yesterday when I was out with the dogs. I noticed lots of little birds and then I saw 4 *huge* flocks of geese. heard them too-- they are loud! haha!

Felis- I will be sure to give Cait a hug for inspiring you to like rats more. Did I tell you that her cousin now has 3? LOL
Have a wonderful holiday, looking forward to seeing your LO!

xoxo

good morning - just got off my weekly call with my sister. Such a fun hour. We so make each other laugh. Our kids do things and we are lucky we can laugh. My son is home today some sort of bowel problem. Poor guy not fun. And he loves to share the details which I think are better being told to a doctor lol. Had fun at Panera's except my girlfriend is just getting over a cold and is still coughing so felt bad for her. She daughter and her boyfriend joined us so that was fun. They are still in mourning for the loss of team members from the Rangers. But for once I get to be happy my team is winning more than losing. Tonight and tomorrow a nor'easter is coming with lots of rain, wind and maybe snow. Not looking forward to the wind. It is the worst for taking down power lines. My team is playing the Florida Panthers tonight and then on Friday they play the Carolina Hurricanes. I should have my starting goalie Cory Schneider back for one of these games so that bodes well for my team. Got in a good walk with Luther and when I finish this I will head out with him. He is patiently waiting.

Chris sorry about the headache, they can be so debilitating. I hope you get great news about the car. They cost so much money and it is always so hard to decide when enough is enough and have to find a replacement.

Trudy that is too bad about the rain. Sorry you missed the hike. Looks like Rick Nash is going to fit in nicely with the Bruins and especially now with Bergeron have a broken foot. And yesterday was pretty cool as I was picking up treats for Luther in the parking lot Bryce Salvador (former Captain of the Devils and now the analyst between the benches) was there and I introduced myself and we had a nice conversation. So fun.

Rae congrats on getting the work done and the end of the time sheet in. You rock! I am loving the photos on FB of Taz in the snow.

Jean I am hearing the redwing blackbirds and song birds too. And yes the geese seem to be heading north again. Hard to wrap my head around that this is March already. I am glad to see you are off the Pens cheering squad. They have won enough.

Felis always so fun when you find a good book to read. And yes listening to Chris and Cait rats do make good pets. Enjoy your March 1 holiday!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. I'm happy to see some sunshine today. Yesterday it rained non-stop all day. Taz enjoyed daycare but I don't think he went outside much at all b/c of all the rain. I saw the cutest photo (they take photos throughout the day and share them on their FB page) of him snuggling with one of the staff, giving her a big kiss :) Not sure what was going on with his digestion last night but he woke me up four times to go out last night, so I didn't get a lot of sleep and am going to need lots of coffee today to keep me going.

Chris - fingers crossed about the car repair cost and hope you feel better.

Nancy - enjoy the game and hope the weather isn't too bad.

I'm getting to work now so better grab a coffee and get going. Have a great day, everyone.

I am such a bad grandma and have totally forgot that it is Little Sadie's birthday on Sunday :gaah: How will I ever get anything out to her in time for her special day? We might have to make a day trip to see her?? I will see what DH says and see if he wants to do that drive or not. If not then I might have to go myself! How could I have not remembered?? Anyway that means that now I have to get out there and find something special to give her. I wonder if Amazon would have something that she likes with one day shipping?? I will have to check it out. Going to try to get to the pool again today, perhaps getting there by 9:15 will be a good time, who knows :noidea: Other than that I need to get the challenge tracking thread opened here and do a bit of a write up about all the new challenges. So many different ones to choose from now, I hope everyone will find it inspiring!

Chris - I feel the same way as you and it seems like I haven't done much in the way of scrapping at all lately! But hey we made it through January and February so that's something to me happy about for sure! :bliss: I will keep my fingers crossed that your vehicle repair will be relatively inexpensive, my goodness the cost of a new vehicle would be devastating for you! I hope that your headache is gone today and that you get to enjoy doing something that you like today!

Nancy - How nice that you and your sister get along so well and can have some laughs together! Sorry that your son is not feeling well today, hopefully it isn't anything more than just a virus or something! Yes DH is liking having Rick Nash on the team, but also liking Tommy Winglels too!! It should be an interesting game against the Penquins tonight. Hope that you and Luther got in a nice walk this morning.

Rae - You are so busy and sorry but your shopping Karma did not get to me yesterday, still no luck on finding the jeans and the consignment store did not have any real deals, she is very expensive for used clothing and some items I would not even pay those kind of prices for brand new clothing. I don't know how she sells much. Winners is a much more affordable option for most of us! I did however find a lovely summer top that I can wear when we go to Paris this summer and found that at Winners for under $20. So I did not come away empty handed. I hope that you are not too busy with work today and that you and Taz get to have a nice walk today also!

Jean - How nice to see and hear all the birds! I bet your DH loved his bird survey! Thanks for the info about the full moon, I never think to look and usually am disappointed that I miss seeing the blue moon. Hope you have a lovely day today!

Felis - So nice that you can relate to the character in your books! Yes not sure if I am liking the new style of jeans these days, they are way to short on me and not a good look for someone my age LOL. Hope that you have a fun day of scrapping and not too much in the way of work for you!

Alright if I am to get to the pool I better get going, then online shopping for Sadie, hopefully I will see something that she will enjoy! Have a great Thursday everyone

I'd rather still be sleeping as it is dark, dreary and wet out. But it's over 40, so this is spring. I can't stop yawning and don't want to leave grumpy personals, so I'll just hope to wake up and wish you all a better day.
:sorry:

Good morning girls!
As I mentioned before March 1st is one of our favorite tradition here, Granny March, when we put yarn amulets to our beloveds for health and luck. Dogs are easy, but cats wasn't much excited to join :) .
From yesterday I had some difficulties to figure out when the gallery time is changed, so my layouts comes on a previous date even when in forum is already March. Yesterday I deleted my page few times, so today I just quit, even I preferred they to be for two different days. I hope tonight finally to can download on my computer the photos for the weekly pages and to get back to my scrap schedule. With the O birthday party this month is better to be more active from the beginning of the month. :)

Jean, hope you had good day too! Nothing wrong in the lazy days! Here March 1st was coldest day for this winter, so we all was lazy too!

Aww, Trudy, your view is one time! Such a lovely place! :photo:
Did you found gift for your princess?! I hope your husband wants to comes too, always is better to have a company on a road! But with this awful weather, I can see why he is wondering to drive.

Rae, so bad to not get enough sleep! Hope Taz feels better today and both can get some break!

Nancy, hope the weather is not so bad as they're told, or at least to not have down power lines! Hope your son and friend, both will feels better quick! Take care for yourself too, it's not fun when most people around have colds!

Chris, so sorry about the headache! Outside the meds you put also much stress on yourself which don't helps! I hope both, Gary and Ray appts, will shows all is in the norms! Fingers crossed cars repair to not cost much!
