Good morning, O-Fam! I am still trying to wake up after 2 of my ginormous mugs of coffee. At least I am not freezing this morning like I was yesterday. The warmer temps will reduce my sluggishness. Perhaps. ;)
Cait is tired too, she overslept and because I cannot get a grasp on her new school schedule, I didn't realize it until she came down for her coffee an hour late.

I am also waking up to two sore ankles and what Caitlyn calls my "corpse feet." I am barefoot so you can see my Reynaud's feet in all of their purple and grey glory. My R ankle is still sore from the surgery- the left is thanks to Whisky. (not whiskey, that might have been a better deal!) It stopped raining yesterday so I decided to get the tomatoes planted. I was kneeling with my left leg out so I didn't have to bend my R ankle. W had wrapped the lead around my ankle and then heard/smelled something and took off. The nice thing is after I fell over, she came back to give me kisses and jump on me. I guess she thought I was on the ground to play with her haha!!
I came in after that, was a bit warm in my long work pants so I went to put on shorts and darn it, I had a tick on my leg. &%$*%&!!!!! I was outside for less than a half hour, and I didn't spray myself because I wasn't really planning on being outside at all. Evil, evil creatures.

"Good" news about my mom... I think? She called while I was cleaning and I was kind of dreading having to call her back. She seemed like she was in better spirits and she only complained about my dad a couple of times. Maybe there is hope for them after all these (55 in two weeks!) years. :noidea:

Today is my brother's birthday and I have to give him a call soon. I never got a chance to get my LOs uploaded or to scrap another page. It is dreary today so I will be inside. I have a few errands to run around town and some more cleaning/organizing here. The June bash is in 3 weeks and OMG- I have nothing even slightly planned. Yikes. I swear, I stick my head in the sand over things that need to get done way too often lately. I used to bo so on top of stuff. What the heck happened to me? But I hope to have some time to scrap too.

Wishing everyone a happy day today!! ::grouphug

Nancy- it didn't get that hot up here, but the humidity was high. Hmm, the clouds have burned off and I am seeing some sun. Hope that you are too. I bet that Luther was thrilled to be out for a long walk. My kids took J and W to the dog park for a bit too. They came home wiped out. Dogs-- not kids.
The pizza was a great and yummy ending to the day.

Trudy- how was your hike/walk? It sounds like it would be relaxing and not as hard as the one you did last week (2 weeks ago?). Sorry that you are struggling with your LO, BTDT! I think that if you were pricing your paintings unrealistically, the gallery owner would tell you. She won't get the commission if the paintings don't sell. Don't undersell yourself!

Jean- glad that the sun dried up all of the rain! :spider: How nice that the Mexican restaurant was nice and that you found something to eat. I know how hard it is for my dad who is on a very sodium-restrictive diet. You are still feeling good, no more issues?
You are right--My mom isn't used to being in pain nor dealing with medical issues as she told me yesterday. She went for an ultrasound last night to rule out a cyst behind the knee and she has been to more medical appts in this past week than she probably has gone to in the last 2-3 years combined.

Kay- you are a scrapping machine! Good for you! You were very busy with your errands. I am so jealous every time you talk about your veggie market.:evil2: My supermarkets produce section is horrible- I bought a bunch of cilantro on Monday and the inside pieces had all turned to soggy mush. I had to wash it all to get that crud out, then air dried the rest of it and hope that it lasts until I am ready for it.
It must be nice to not have to worry about drought -- at least at this point in time. Hope it stays that way.

Felis- No! :nono: Post your sea LO now! You will have another before then. Yes, so happy that the rats were good. If you saw me online, it is because I had a *lot* of pages open in the shop and I didn't want to lose them even when I was actually not online. :D
I do that a lot.

hugs!!

good morning - It looks like it will be nice day. It should be in the mid 80s. Yesterday I made it to the grocery store, bank and dinner with my girlfriend. We had such a good dinner. Today is just relax and wait for game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. I will be getting Luther out for a walk at some point. My DH had to give him a bath when they got back as Luther ended up in mud after chasing robins. OH yea speaking of robins there are now babies in the nest in my lilac bush. They are so cute. Now I know why we have robins in the back yard searching for worms. I have had baby wrens once and there are often baby sparrows but this is the first robins. So glad they are here. Hope they use the nest next year too. My DH came home and was trying to open the carton that had his soda and it was giving him a hard time to he took sharp scissors to poke a hole and lol he hit the can and a soda fountain appeared. I had to laugh - he was not happy! But he would have laughed it I had done that.

Chris glad that the talk with your mom was good. Happy Birthday to your brother. I am sure you will get all accomplished for your June bash! Glad that you did not get too hurt with Whisky went for a run. Luther comes back too when my DH falls. Congrats on getting the tomatoes in the ground! Nothing like Jersey grown fresh tomatoes.

Trudy you walk sounds so nice. I hope you got lots of photos and saw some good birds. I love the last painting and I agree with Chris don't undersell yourself.

Kay you are a busy bee! Scrapping and errands! Hope the thunder did not progress to a full storm.

Jean this makes me smile, you forgot someone else was doing the presentation. I have forgotten appointments so I know the feeling. Glad you found some to eat at the restaurant and that it was good.

Felis yes my baby robins are so cute. My DH goes past them every day and he has not noticed them. You should post your page.

Have a great day all!

The sun was out when I posted yesterday, but we had lots more rain later. It is so wet out and today we'll have fog I guess. I seem to be grumpy this morning, hope that burns off. Get a regular mammo this afternoon which is never fun. Am also working again with attorney for the cousin's estate. Not really fun either.

Felis, yes, go ahead and post that LO! Gives you more reason to get another done. To tell the truth, I'd forgotten about the program I was supposed to do in Feb. Well, maybe in the fall. Thanks for reminding me.

Chris, guess W gave you a chance to even up the ankles? Hope they feel better quick. Sorry about the tick, your yard must be a haven for them making your dirt therapy a tricky thing. Hope your mom is making headway on dealing with the knee.

Kay, you were one busy lady yesterday, so no wonder you warmed up. Be nice if you could keep that feeling.

Trudy, hope the hike was fun. Go Bruins tonight!

Nancy, know you'll be watching hockey tonight as well.

Morning, gals. Last night I turned the light off at 9PM as I fell asleep reading my book. But... I couldn't go to sleep for some reason once the light was off. Finally got up and got back on line and played around with another scrap page then popped in here for a quick check on new posts. Finally got back in bed and read for another hour. Slept in until almost 8AM.

Chris, I love having a veggie market close - about 3 miles from the house. Yes, the prices are usually better than the grocery store. So sorry your bunch of cilantro was mushy in the center. Hope the outer part will stay fresh until you can use it. Sorry that Whiskey caused you to fall and injured your ankle. We don't have ticks in our area unless you get around the river. Would hate to have to deal with them all the time. Glad to hear your Mom was in a better mood when you called her.

Nancy, the storm didn't last long... but then had another one come along just as I went to put the trash/recycle bins out on the curb. Had sun shining but it was spitting rain from a cloud right over my neighborhood. So glad you have Robins in the yard... how neat to have a nest with babies in it. Had to LOL over your DH and his drink spraying all over!!!

Jean, I need to call my Primary Care doc to get a referral for my mammo. It has been a year. Always hate to have them but with 2 daughters who have had breast cancer - I know it is a needed test. Hate dealing with lawyers and handling estate matters so don't envy you that chore.

Yesterday was DD#1's 43rd anniversary but poor thing came down with the creeping crud on Monday. Need to call and see if she is feeling better today. She and Grandson-in-law were the last 2 of the family get it. I think that I may be over my bouts with it... fingers crossed! Guess I overdid it a bit yesterday as my back started talking to me after I got home from all my errands. Did too much lifting of heavy bags. It is still sore this morning, so will have to baby it abit and take some meds for it.

Morning ladies... we are forecasted to get :rain: today, but so far I see lots of blue skies! We sure could use the moisture though! Well I started this post about an hour ago and have since facetimed with Heather and Hunter and then hopped into the shower. So I sure hope I don't lose this post LOL. Yesterdays hike was very nice, very different though as it was a good long walk. The fit bit told me that we did 13,600 steps so approx. 7 miles. The rain held off until the hike was over so that was nice! Although we did not get too much of a rain :mmph: Oh well maybe later today?? Oh and silly me I went and forgot to take my phone with me, so no photos from this hike :gaah: sometimes I am so absent minded!! We really did not see much in the way of birds, a few turkey vultures and some red winged blackbirds, but not much else. Today I get my haircut and colour, it will feel so much better to have that done! I also have to put in an order for Isaac's birthday gift and an order for myself on Amazon of a few things. Also I need to place a Norwex order for myself and my sisters. Sheesh another busy day! Guess I better get on with it and get these things done!

Chris - Happy Birthday to your brother!! I hope you have better luck with getting your layouts done and posted than I have been having LOL. Glad to hear that you are seeing some blue sky this morning, hope that the humidity is not too high for you today! Oh and happy to hear that your Mother is in better spirits today too! That is too bad that your feet are so cold and purple and stiff too!! Hope you can warm your toes up!

Nancy - Your dinners with your girlfriend always sound so nice! You are so lucky to have such a good friend! So sweet to have the new baby robins and funny that your DH does not notice them. OMG I would have laughed at the soda fountain too :pound: and yup he would have laughed at you if it had happened to you!! Hope you and Luther have a great afternoon!

Felis - Please post your layout now and not later!! I am anxious to see it too! Oh and I found out from my sister that Chevy Stevens does not have any other books in Bulgarian and she doesn't remember ever having any published there, but says perhaps that they bought the rights to just that one book. That is too bad! I was really hoping that I could send you a couple more. Would you understand an audio book done in English?? Let me know!

Kay - You are one busy scrapper!! I bet you are loving it though! Thanks for the nice compliment on my painting, yes I will try to not underestimate the value of my art! Glad to hear that your storm did not last too long. How nice that you got to sleep in until 8am!

Jean - Sorry you are feeling grumpy this morning! Hopefully the fog and your grumpy mood both dissipate soon!! Yes, looking forward to the game tonight! Go Bruins!!

Well I better get these orders placed, but not until I upload my layout that I finally got finished. Have a great day everyone!

Hello ladies!
Such a lovely day! Afternoon coffee with dear friend in way for special day celebration! And a couple of hours only for me and Biggie. He is such a sweetie, but I wasn't realise how less active is he in this season. We again finished cuddle and watching the rain. Then the others came home and life start spin as an usual.
OK, you all tempted me, so I'll try to link the used kits and post my page later these days. I think it's more for summer mood, but already saw few vacation kits at the store, so let's do it.

Chris, Happy Birthday to your brother! I'm remembered your dog's name exactly from whiskey, and Bailey from Baileys. I miss Rae by the way! Good that you aren't hurt too serious! Do you have saying as us: ''kiss it to heal'' ?! Ouch about the tick!

Trudy, I'm disappointed, but not surprised, the publishers here do this all the time. Never mind, it's exciting enough that your sister is talk with her about that and now she knows that she have fans here. Oh, an audiobook is a great idea! I'll have to search about them with sure! I don't think I'll have difficulty, because I listen interviews all the time, and even tried podcasts when they was trendy. Which book impressed you most?
Haha, I forget my phone way too often, most pockets aren't comfortable for it in. Now you're have additional reason to make this trail again! Hope you was able to find birthday gift for Isaac!

Jean , sorry to see you grumpy, but there is just day as this! I hope you'll feels much better when all errands are done! Not fun but important, with sure.

Kay, hope your back is better now! Don't overload yourself, girl! Fast recovery to your kids too!

Nancy, LOL so fun for your husband just to walk by and not notice the baby robins! But bad for you to laugh and ashamed him for the soda case! :nono::tongue1:
