In spite of feeling crummy all day, I got a lot accomplished yesterday. I cleaned, paid bills without , laundry, finished scrapping that LO, and made breakfast for dinner. Not bad considering I was dragging my butt.

I am physically feeling better today but my head is in that fuzzy, semi-blank state. I am hoping that the 2 (large) mugs of coffee kick in soon. I am sure that the sunny weather will help. Looks like the next 4 days will be between 70-80*. woo hoo! That also means that I need to get into the attic early so it doesn't get too hot this afternoon. I have to bring down the decorations for the party which is in a little over a week! :faint2: Whatever else I need, I am heading out with my mom tomorrow to pick up.

Caitlyn got a text from an old HS friend yesterday about her old BFF. She was in a bad car accident. She and Caitlyn lost touch since their paths went in very different directions, but Caitlyn has been BFFs with her since they were in 1st or 2nd grade, like sisters and says that she will always love her. She is hopefully leaving the hospital today so that is great news.

I am going to sign up and get some breakfast before I have to go deal with the attic- which is a mess!!

xoxo

Trudy- I am really sorry to hear about Aunt Marion. I am glad that she is no longer suffering but it still must be very difficult. Isn't it odd how that always happens, that the person waits to see everyone and then passes after they leave? I hope that MIL will be ok-- this must be her sister?
Are you feeling better today?
Maybe it was the clematis that I am thinking of. Then again... who knows what I am thinking most days!? :noidea:

So-- I told Caitlyn my joke to you about my order clearing Customs from CA. Within a half hour, I see a Newsweek headline that the US is strengthening northern border strategy among tensions.
WTF???????????????????????????

Did you happen to see DT's quote about NK having wonderful beaches that would be perfect for condos?

This Administration has lost its @^$##$ Mind!!!!
*deep breath*
*more deep breaths*

*never enough deep breaths at this point*

Anyway LOL
Scott will be able to apply for the scholarship next May so you can be sure I will be asking for good vibes then.

Jean- how was your genealogy group? Find a good puzzle to bring home?
Hope you found a fun one to do.

Felis- thunderstorms can be nice to watch but my poor Ray is frantic during them. So happy that your babies aren't scared. Do they get scared by fireworks?
I am still so bummed about Courtney's shop closing too-I adore her designs.

I didn't get to scrap the page of J's smile yet, but I am sure that I will.(someday!)

Rae- did it feel good to get a lot of stuff accomplished at home yesterday? I hope that you did and you were able to enjoy some of that fudge! How long before you know if the IVIG is helping B this time around?

Trudy- I wore sweats her yesterday too. I hope that MIL doesn't keep everything bottled up too much, but it doesn't sound likely that she won't.
Hope that you are feeling much better today!

Morning ladies... I was up early with DH and made him some steel cut oatmeal for his breakfast. It was chilly in the house this morning so we had to bump up the heat, sheesh its not supposed to be this cold in the middle of June!! DH has taken tomorrow off of work as we are going on a Wine Tour with our hiking group. It should be lots of fun, they have hired a bus and we are stopping at four or five different wineries in the valley, having lunch at one of them and we are allowed adult beverages on the bus too. It is so nice that DH will be able to join us, it should be a great time!

Today I will get to the pool again, it was so nice and quiet on Tuesday so hopefully it will be the same today! Then I have to figure out what to pack for our lunch on the wine tour, get to the grocery store and pick up a few things and hopefully get some scrapping done. I am still working on my page for the challenges it will get done eventually LOL.

Chris - I hope that the coffee kicks in for you soon! I hate that fuzzy headed feeling! We are supposed to be getting some really warm sunny weather for the weekend and into next week, so I sure hope that you will be getting the same! As for MIL well she has lived with a lot of regrets her whole life, she hasn't talked to her only living sister in over two years, she has a very wicked tongue when she wants to and won't admit that she hurt her sister very badly with her words. I hope that they can mend their differences or she will have yet another regret in her life. When DD was so very sick in the hospital and I phoned her to tell her about it, the only thing she said to me was " oh well she will get better" Really?? No offer to help, no offer to come out and be with her son and grandkids during that sad time and years later she actually told me that perhaps she should have helped us more. Ya think?? Ya too little to late :gaah: I don't understand her!! So whenever something tragic happens in the family it just stirs up all these old feelings again. :sorry: for dumping on you!
Can you believe that DT is actually going to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize?? Well I guess nothing surprises me anymore :loco: I hope that we can both stay away from the news today and just concentrate on the good things in our lives!!

Ok I need my second cup of coffee and then looking forward to a facetime call from Heather and Hunter. Yesterday DD ordered bunk beds for the boys, so nice that they will be sharing the room together and hopefully have lots of fun with their new beds! We found a great place not far from DD that only sells bunk beds so the prices were great and free delivery too bonus :thumb: Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Beautiful sunny day here with a nice breeze. I'd like to scrap a page, but should be concentrating on getting ready for my sessions at the gen. meeting Saturday. Also errands to run. Well, we'll see. Yesterday's gen. group was fun. Two regulars couldn't come but we had two new people that will probably be back.

Felis, nice that the animals aren't bothered by the thunderstorm and you could all enjoy it. And that you could do some scrapping. It is certainly sad when designers retire.

Rae, hope the IV treatment went well for B and does some good. You sure can use a day to catch up and recharge. And good for Taz to get to doggy day care too.

Chris, it does seem like the world's been turned on its head. It is hard to fathom at all. At least you got lots done yesterday even if. Hope you made it to the attic before heat build up. It is fun watching the birthday coming in the comic strip Garfield. It started on the 12th, one week before his birthday on the 19th. It is such fun for me as that day is also DH's birthday. So I know your birthday isn't then, but it is a nice theme for the coming bash.

Trudy, that wine tasting trip with DH sounds just wonderful. How cool he could take off for it. Vent away about MIL! Sad lady, I'm afraid. So glad I had a nice MIL. Bunk beds for the boys! Neat.

Hi girls,
today was something like family meeting day, but totally unplanned. When I was to the near store I meet my uncle, the fisherman, to ride his bicycle. I'm happy to see him to do some exercises, because before year he has a stroke, and we all was worried, but just a month after the hospital he start to smoke again. So it's at least a little bit relief to see that he try to do something healthy too.
After that aunt came to visit us. She finally is quit the job that makes her feels stres and frustration. Unfortunately none of them three wasn't employed for the job, when she was convinced mom and her best friend to go on interview. But they keep their old jobs, and only aunt is quit her. And her FIL is very vile man who now use this to argue with her. She was very upset. These scandals are always ugly as she is described them. And the worst part is that aunt is separated with her husband, but because they don't have official divorce, she still have to care for this disgusting old man. She was so sad and this wasn't exactly pleasant visit.

Chris, hope your preparation for upcoming party went well. And you also will have nice shopping with your mom! Wish to the Caitlyn's friend to get well soon! This reminds me that my BF has a birthday this week, but I can't even text her, because she change her phone number and she don't want our other BF(we was group of three BFF) to tell me, because last time we argued badly. And so near to her birthday you remind us how short can be life actually, this makes me sorry even more.
It seems that weather finally hear us and you will have your hotness till here is much better after the rains, hooray! Oh yes dogs are scared by fireworks and every car horn, phone or door bell ring makes them to bark as crazy. But they don't have any reactions to thunders even the loudest and music even if is strengthened on max?! We laugh on a trick when we put playlist of Ed Sheeran from the phone and watch do they will react to the song that we also use as a ringtone, if it's comes early at the list they can recognize it and start barking, but they didn't if it's later. :lalala::p

Trudy, it sounds me as your MIL react as male, will do what you're asking him but don't expect to offer it alone. . Such a fun for the kids to have these bunk beds! And even better with that good deal that they found! My sister will be so envious for this Wine Tour, she really likes this kind of adventures! Have a fun!

Jean, I hope that these new members will decided to join! Is it better for one group to become bigger or this will make it more noisy?! I'll left comment on your pages tomorrow (I hope to have time finally), but love this painting effect on the page with daffodils!

I was hoping to see Rae her today and Nancy really miss me, do you think she will come back at Monday?
