The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hey there, how are the O-zies today? I am exhausted. I didn't sleep so great and when I did, I had some *strange* dreams. I remembered them when I first woke up but not anymore. I remember thinking that was was pretty darn ridiculous and one made me sad. I would love to know what the ridiculous one was about. ;)

How was your day yesterday? I got quite a few things done, including some bills, some housework and yardwork, as well as a LO started. That just needs some finishing touches. It didn't rain until late afternoon so I was able to get outside for a bit. After dinner, we played Mario Party and woah, I am *terrible* at video games. But it was fun to hang with the family Not to mention I am old-- I am allowed to be bad at video games

Today is... Thursday.
Yup. Thursday is about all I got.
I have no plans. I need to check in with my BFF, I haven't talked or texted her in a while.
Other than that, I have a few CT things I have to do, and that is about it!

Gratitudes:
-that I am not faced with deciding on whether to send my kids to a K-12 school, I don't envy those parents
-seeing Gary snuggling with J in his sleep (sooooo cute!!!)
-that my governor is really on top of the virus as best as he can be, cases have ticked up a bit and we have a new order to wear masks outside when it is not possible to social distance.

wishing everyone a truly wonderful day!

Trudy- how was the hike? I hope that it helped ground you a bit after the terrible news about Storm. Poor Isaac. Poor family. That is crazy that she was about the same age as J. I am glad that they had a family day at the beach, I can't imagine how empty the house must feel. :(
2020 truly sucks.
I love your gratitude!

Hi Felis-!

Cheryl- how is your family doing?

*waving hi to al of you!*

Hi good afternoon - I just got back from my morning walk. It is a sauna out there but I had a nice breeze. My DH has already taken Luther out for a more than 2 hour walk so he is out in front of the AC. Yesterday except when the storms came through was fun pampering Luther as it was his 5th birthday! I cant believe we have had him that long! Poor guy really does not like those storms so when they were done we made sure he had lots of treats. We tried to take him in the morning to a park but it was just too hot and muggy. I have been so much fun reading more Virgin River series. She has 20 books and I am not even half way through. LOL But I do have to ration them because I will be sad when they are over. Most books do not make me laugh but these do, I mean really laugh. So I have not been watching much TV or scrapping. I watch morning news, lunch up and evening news and last news but I don't feel overwhelmed. In my city, we had just 3 new cases of the viruses. That makes me happy. We have to wear masks outdoors if we cant social distance. Well on my walk I saw just 3 people. But boy did I see lots of wildlife. First a fawn with no parent in site but he or she seemed fine. The later on I saw the stag with 4 doe. Quite a harem. I was going to get close and then I decided I did not want to make the news - "LOCAL WOMAN HURT BY CHARGING STAG TRYING TO GET A CLOSE UP PHOTO". I have seen those headlines from too many times. Saw a rabbit and chipmunk and lots of birds. Not having so many people can be pretty nice. Made a nice dinner - just hamburgers but with a new sauce instead of just ketchup and mustard. Tonight is another new recipe dinner. Should be fun. My DH is wondering what will happen to his university's international students if ICE really tries to deport them for not being able to take classes on campus. But Harvard and MIT have court cases to keep this from happening. Yesterday the news came out on tentative hockey restart dates. Looks like July 25 will be exhibition and last date for a Stanley Cup final will be Oct 2. Then in Nov. training camps will start and the new season will start Dec 1 and it will be a full season. I am glad this will be happening in Canada as I think they can keep the players safer than in the US. The Draft will be Oct 6. So I will see who the Devils select.

Chris glad you can just enjoy a low key day! I too have had weird dreams. But I like dreaming. The SCOTUS gave Trump another set back up it will be awhile before it will make any difference. But glad to know that most of the Court does not believe the President is above the law. What did you think of the lines at Motor Vehicles? Seems like they would have figured out then would need more hours to clear the back logs. Motor Vehicle never seems to run smoothly. So glad that I do have stuff coming up that needs to be done in person!

Trudy hope you had a great hike!

Waving to all

Good morning it has been raining off and on but at least now I won't have to water the plants in the back. Today is our sweet Hunter's third birthday :HapBirth: Hunter!!! Sure wish we could be together for his special day! I had a very nice hike yesterday and although the drive was a bit long it was worth it. We hiked to two different lakes Spectacle Lake and then to Oliphant Lake, both very pretty and quiet I think we only passed by two other people on the entire hike. It is too bad that we all have to come in our own vehicles, but we are not permitted to car pool yet and probably won't be until much later on. It was nice to visit with everyone again! We had nineteen of us on the hike. Saw one deer and numerous birds and slugs LOL. I had a lovely face time with the kids, Isaac is still pretty upset about Storm as is his Mom, Storm was her dog and you can tell it has broken her heart to lose her! The kids are doing as well as can be expected! I truly believe that it is good to talk about her and that it helps with the grieving! Isaac said he keeps thinking he sees her all time, but then realizes that its just a blanket or pillow or something on the floor. Poor guy!! Today I am doing my online grocery shopping and I hope to get a page started for one of the challenges. I have been busy making some cards to have on hand and have been having fun with that!

Chris - It sure is quiet in here lately, hopefully everyone is doing well and keeping busy! I saw you posted your layout from the last theme night, so I need to get to the gallery for a better look! Hope you get to catch up with your BFF today and that you get inspired to do some more scrapping! Not nice when you do not get a good sleep or the night is filled with crazy dreams! Hopefully you will sleep better tonight! I suck at video games too, but still its fun to do, especially with family!

Felis - thank you for your kind words about poor Storm! We will all miss her very, very much!!

Ok I am off to make the bed and get into the shower, I have already had a face time with Heather and the boys and hope to have another later in the day when he opens his gifts from us! Have a lovely day everyone! I hope today brings something special to you all!

Hi Nancy we cross posted this morning! Hope the extreme heat and humidity goes away for you all soon!! Glad you decided not to make the evening news about getting attacked by the deer LOL. Happy Birthday to your sweet Luther!!

Hello all. I've been enjoying reading all of your posts. Thought I'd check in and report that the family is much improved. My oldest granddaughter, however, has NO sense of taste OR smell. My husband read that that is one of the rare side effects, so we're hoping hers doesn't last too long.

Gratitude: I had a retinal scan yesterday (I have to have them every 3 month of so) and the specialist said everything looked great! She was very happy! It's always a relief to get a good report.

I went out in public for the first time yesterday, since March 13th. Yikes! Had to wear a mask to get in the Eye Center and they took our temperatures before we could even go in. I took some selfies of course and you'll probably see one on a LO.
