Good morning, good morning, good morning to you!!!!!
*sung in my very best PreK teacher voice*

(please don't let that get stuck in my head all day, now  )

How are all of you? Hope that you are feelin' fine. I am ok, the sun is out, the puppy went potty, and I have had two big mugs of coffee! Life is Good!
Cait and I are off to yoga this morning, and then I am heading to the lake.

The pasta was good, at least I thought so. Brendan went back for seconds, but he always does LOL Here is the link http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/07/creamy-tomato-spinach-pasta/
I have been poking around this website a lot for budget-friendly meals. If you have good websites for the same things, link me up, please.

I have to head out now, so big waves hi and hugs all around!

good morning - another gorgeous day! Yesterday was beautiful. I got in a good bike ride. It was so good. As I was riding along the path was a doe and her fawn. She was not even scared away when I stopped and took photos. These deer are really getting used to people. But I still love seeing them! Watching to Tour de France and my favorite rider Tejay Van Garderen had to withdraw due to illness. He said he just wanted to disappear. Feel bad for him. But he is young and I am sure he will be back stronger. I plan on riding again today.

Chris have a great time at yoga and at the lake. It will be a great day. Did you see the story on the NJ fire. Wow that was some fire. I could not see the smoke nor smell anything thank goodness.

Sharon I am sure those gentlemen love you home cooked meals. I wish I loved cooking but I really do not. Such awesome news about your DGS and his swimming prowess. You think he got it from parents I am thinking you gave some good genes too. Only 52 hours to Catalina. Well I travel about 8 mph on my bike so it would take me 12.5 hrs to go 100 miles which the TdF does in like 3 - 4 hrs. But who cares at least we are out getting exercise! Have fun doing nothing!

Hummie good to see you here again!

aaahhhh....Thursday. My favorite day. No need to get up early. Case in point: I did wake up early, but fell back asleep...TWICE! Nothing on my agenda. DH takes two DGSs to First Tee today, so house to myself for a few hours. Either go out for dinner, or eat left-over salmon. So no dinner stress.

And I wake up to the news that the Artsy challenge has been extended for two more days! Can I possibly make more pages for THAT? Why not?

Chris, hope you have a fabo time at the lake. I'm no good as a source for recipes for you because we eat meat. In fact, I get irritated if I know a vegetarian is coming for dinner, and just expect them to make their own accommodations. sorry. I should send you the column I once wrote about my vegetarian restaurant experience. It was a total hoot. I still laugh when I think about it.

And Nancy, I don't love cooking either, and wish I did. I've taken many wonderful classes trying to make myself love cooking, but none of them took. The irony is that I'm actually a pretty good cook. I like it better when we have company for some reason.

Sounds like a wonderful bike ride yesterday. But remember, the deer may SEEM sweet and tame, but they are wild animals, and deer have been known to attack humans. So stay well back. We have deer, bobcats, coyotes, etc. in our vicinity, but never had bears----------until last week. Neighbors spotted a bear in their back yard (which butts up against a forested area). All these welfare animals are trying to take over! It's not like humans have even made the tiniest dent in the vast wilderness all around us! ooops. Am I sounding political? But there is the most gorgeous new kitty wandering into our yard from time to time. It is bigger than most cats, spotted almost like a leopard, and the body is proportionately longer than any domestic cat I've seen. It is still shy of me, but I'm hoping it will make friends with me eventually.

Well, it's ten o'clock, and I'm still in my nightshirt! Oh well. Think I'll have another cup of coffee while I contemplate another LO for the Artsy Template challenge!

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Hi. The older I get, the harder it is to remember who is who. This may take some time.

That recipe looks awesome. Pinned it. Of course, I have my recipe finds pinned by category. (me) I mostly find recipes either on Pinterest or from blogs I have in my Feedly.

I've been learning to cook for one or two though. We often cook together, hubby and I, but since I like veggies and fruit and a lot more food than him, we have similar, but yet different meals. For instance, I might make a soup base and add meats, then separate into two pots and we each add what we like individually. Or an egg mixture, pour into individual sized glass containers and then add toppings we each like and bake. Yum! Or individualized pizzas. When we first started doing this kind of cooking, I wondered why we didn't cook like this when the boys were young. It would have made things easier for my picky eaters and I would have gotten to eat things I love to eat (veggies!).

Trying to get inspired to make a dog layout (I love my dogs!) for the challenge here, but not feeling well and not feeling inspired. Off to my Pinterest to see if I can find something I might have pinned to inspire me. There are lots of tricks to jumpstart that mojo, huh? Just take two steps and go!
