The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
OMG, is it really Thursday already?? No no no! My BFF and I were "complaining" about how fast this summer is going. Too fast! And the one small issue that I have with the summers is that I feel like I am never home or when I am home, I am not inside, which leaves piles of crap everywhere waiting for me to deal with it.

Guess what? More of the same today. Cleaning, then the lake with Caitlyn and my mom. (Rough isn't it??). But I just feel like ther eisn't enough time in the day. I shouldn't complain at all, right? Its all good!!:D

It was super nice to hang with my BFF yesterday. But we didn't get a chance to talk about books- we are both readers and have to discuss everything that we read. She just finished Gone Girl and I am starting it today, so we'll have to discuss that one to death next time I see her. Have any of you read that one?

Other than that, not much going on here. Hope that you all enjoy the day!!

Temptation on Thursday
I really really want to take a vacation- down the shore for a couple of days would be heaven!!

Donna- so happy to hear that the temps are coming down for you, We didn't even put the a/c on yesterday- it was really nice!
Hope you are enjoying every day too, even if you are busy :)

Phyllis- I totally ruined my good mood of being with my BFF by going to ugh-- walmart on my way home. Why is it that we hate people so much?? :pound: That store seems to bring the intolerance out of my something fierce.

what a crappy day for you. I feel like many days I need to have a warning sign over my head too. I am sorry to hear that it was a sad anniversary. Hope the weed wacking got some of the "crud" out of your system.

Hi trudy! So happy that you weather is finally summer!!

Gotta head out of here, get ready for the day....
love and hugs!!!

morning O fam- I woke up at 430 on my day off, after staying up late last night- oh well, walk is in, quiet time, working on second load of laundry- yup it is thursday- I have a list of errands 6 long so far, not counting what I am doing at home. The sun is shining- I had coffee on the deck and hear cows mooing- felt like I was back in CNY! I broached the idea of working less hours over 3 days with my boss. She is not opposed, but rarely allows anyone to have friday as a permanent day off. I will work on her- the reason I told her I wanted more time off was to actually be able to spend time with my husband- and that time is fridays. Not sure I can swing the finances either, but maybe. Have great days everyone!!

A rough life indeed Chris!! I wish we had a lake close to us to go to....we have one on either side of us...about an hour away!!

My Mom had Jaiden for the past two days...she came and got her Tuesday around lunch time and I picked her up last night after church...but that gave me two days of a bit of piece...the boys played downstairs...using every piece of imagination in their heads...thank goodness... I got all my laundry finished and my kitchen organized again....after throwing every single piece of food away last week...and we got ants while were gone (I still haven't figured out why...I left NO dishes out, food, wiped the counters down really well...but the suckers were all over the counter and sink). I can't stand any kind of bugs in my house....so I sprayed for 5 days in a row to make sure they DO NOT COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of bugs...this one not so bad...look who visited us in the living room on the carpet last night

We have no idea how this guy got in the house...unusual!!!

I hear ya Laurie...I was up until 1 am...for some reason....and Jesse woke me at 6 am...UUGGHH!! Have a great day off!!

i still think there's a market niche for a place where women can meet (literally or digitally) in the middle of the night to chat! Laurie, your experience sounds SO much like what happens to me. up at some preposterously early hour, even if i try to engineer a later waking-up point by staying up until all hours.

Chris, how's the poison ivy? gee. every time i read that you're going to the lake, i wish i could have one by my house. it sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Nana, i hear you with the bugs. our prob is spiders and centipedes. i bought these little sticky traps on Amazon and have them sitting around everywhere. ICK!! the things i catch! mostly centipedes. i think i'm getting ahead of the spiders. at least i hope so. HA! until we start bringing in fire wood when the weather gets cold. there are always a few "passengers" on the wood....

today is a "waiting day." expecting a delivery, and they said "between 9 and 1. nothing like taking the middle right out of your day so you can't do anything away from the house BEFORE they come, and you don't have much time to much AFTER they come. so. a quick run to the grocery store may be all of it today. and some laundry. i'm starting to worry about the well, since i can't even remember the last time it rained here.

have a happy. do something you love.

Morning everyone.. must be that kind of day where we are all up super early!! I woke at 4am tossed and turned until 5, got up made coffee and here I am  would be nice to crawl back into bed!! One more sleep and my DH will be here  I can't wait to see her!

Chris - You are right the summer goes by way to quickly, but it sounds like you are having those lazy, hazy days of summer!! Now that DH will be here I am sure we will be spending lots of time at the Lake, we are super lucky and have a private beach to go to at the In-laws. Such a beautiful spot and we are getting worried as to what is going to happen to it when they decide they can no longer take care of it. Enjoy your time at the beach!!

Laurie - Hope your boss will let you have your Fridays!! Sure would be nice to be able to work less hrs! Enjoy your day off and hope your list of things to do gets done!!

Nana Linda - I hate bugs too!! Especially spiders :scared: We don't have that kind of bug here, is it a praying mantis? So sorry you had to throw out so much food! Does your insurance cover any of the cost of that for you? Hope you get to sneak in a nap sometime today! Looks like you found some time to do some scrapping, I always love to see your beautiful pages in the gallery! Enjoy your day my friend!!

I am out to the kitchen to grab another cup of coffee and browse the gallery then off to work. Have a lovely day everyone!!

Hi Phylis... we must be on the same schedule, seems we cross post a lot! Sorry you have to wait around for the delivery guy, but perhaps you can scrap while you wait?

Trudy...yes he is a praying mantis...we have them everywhere....sort of unusal to get in the house..except if you carry your house plants in and out all the time...I don't do that...this one was a baby...he looked like a tiny green stick at first...but I got down and looked a little closer..then let my macro lens get the details :becky:

After his photoshoot, he was scooped up and put back outdoors. You never want to kill one of these...they are completely harmless to people..don't bother you in any way..and they eat all kinds of other pesky insects...including mosquitoes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our deductible on the food is $500...once we reach the $500 I will turn in all the receipts..just can't afford to go buy that much food at one time...

I know you are over the moon for your daughter to come visit!!

Yes...Phylis...we need to start the early morning risers club and chat...middle the night that is.... We have spiders in the winter too....I buy that Ortho Home Defense at Lowes...about $15 for a gallon...has a sprayer on it...it's very safe to spray anywhere...I spray all the base lines of the inside (doors and windows too) and then go out and spray the entire base line of the house and sidewalks and driveway when I start seeing anything..usually three or four days in a row too....don't see anything for months after that. I hate those waiting days....PIA!!! GIVE ME A TIME...CALL ME AND I WILL MEET YOU BACK HOME!!!
