Good morning and a happy Thursday to you all!

I survived yesterday.
I got out of bed this morning.
Accomplishments.

I have a new favorite snack. Wanna hear about it?
Scott got me these pretzels last year for Christmas

These are seriously so yummy. Sweet and salty and crunchy. I used to be addicted to chocolate-covered pretzels but these are even better. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the berry ones but oh yes! They are so good.

(I know that you are all thinking why in the world is she rambling on about pretzels. It is better than me venting about --> *points to weather widget* )

I bought J an inflatable donut collar and while she likes it better than the plastic cone of shame, she looked so darn silly in it! Why do dogs not want to walk when they are wearing anything like that? She just stands there swinging her head side to side. She has been really good about not licking at the staples so we take it off if we are watching her. She was good after she had her knee surgery too. would probably be awful, she is a very "licky" dog.
As soon as I got home from cleaning, I took shower and put my pj's and slippers on, Who cares that it was only 2 pm?
Not much is happening today, I have housework to do here and then take W to the vet this afternoon. I have put dinner in the crock pot as soon as I am done here.
And I am going to eat more pretzels. :D

@LSlycord How is Decker doing today? So smart to have the dogs separated. Poor boy has been through a lot, he probably has no idea that he is safe now. Did he sleep any better last night? That looks like the same cone J was wearing. Twins! LOL

@BrightEyes OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! That is amazing news about your DD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *grabs your hands and happy dances with you* How long will she be in the rehab hospital? Hope she is back home as soon as she is ready.

@taxed4ever Hope the dentist visit was a quick cleaning and done. Hope that the fog cleared before you had to drive. That is great news that you and your sisters got together as well. You had a good day. :)

All good thoughts to you with the move. I hope the house sells quickly and that you can find the perfect house in Kamloops. And if not the perfect house, then one that is good enough until the perfect one is available.

Great news about your arm not hurting. That had been going on a really long time.
I have no idea where Cait finds the stuff she finds- she loves to shop for gifts, Scott too. They always find the best stuff!
Poor Tex and Lexi. Just think of how happy they will be when you unpack them this fall. Kind of like Jessie in Toy Story bwahaha!! Tom has a small skeleton hanging on the wall in his room and now calls him Braxton Jr. heehee

Good morning. Well, we seem to be a bit more in a rhythm this morning. Shaun said that Decker didn't pace as much last night and Shaun got some sleep. Shaun gets pretty crabby without sleep. ;) Yesterday our dogs spent most of the day upstairs with Brian and I spent most of mine downstairs with Decker. Last night all 3 dogs sat with us in the family room (on leashes) and watched TV. Actually, the humans watched TV and the dogs ignored each other so that was good. Hoping for more progress today. Have decided to spend the day in my office and keep the dogs with me. I have French doors so the dogs can see each other through the glass so we will see if we can get Hayden so she doesn't bark each time that Decker walks by.

Preparing for a big freeze down here this weekend. I need to make sure that the pool filter runs all night. Otherwise, I think I've got this. :rolleyes:

I think that I have some layouts that can be posted today. I have a daily planner that is now just devoted to digi scrapping. I think I'm getting a little bit more organized with this. It has only taken two months. And I am caught up on my gallery comments for everything but Challenge 6 and Challenge 7 so I'm thinking I'll get that done today.

I'll get some coffee and be back for personals in a minute.

@faerywings that picture of the skeletons...oh my goodness...that's hysterical! You need to do a "non-Halloween" page. LOL And make that light a priority. We get lots of sunshine down here and I really miss it when we don't get it (like this morning!). You need to make time with your lamp a priority. Poor J...that must have been a pretty big accident that you didn't hear...which makes me smile because that is exactly how I am. That's why I am focused only on the dogs now...because I can get pretty oblivious!

@BrightEyes such good, good news about Leslie. I know you are definitely doing a happy dance right now. So glad to hear that things are going better for her each day!

Wow! @taxed4ever that card is beautiful. I know that Heather will love it. You are so creative! Do you still do the sea turtle artwork? Sydney still loves hers.

@bcgal00 if your home is the only one in the area for sale, I bet that the realtor gave you good news for sure. Hope that everything just lines up perfectly...you deserve something to go smoothly.

@Cherylndesigns I laughed about you going back to bed yesterday. I woke up at 4:50 this morning and thought, " If I go back to sleep right away I can still get an hour of sleep." Then, I remembered that I'm not working right now so it really doesn't even matter. LOL

@tanteva hope that today is a good day at work!

For some reason I never realized these threads existed — until last week anyway.

I have to say that I absolutely love how you share your lives and are so supportive … you really make the O feel like a family. I won’t be able to drop in everyday, but is it ok for me to chime in once in awhile?

Morning, gals... back to waking up early again...4:30AM is just too early to be awake. Managed to stay in bed until 5 but didn't go back to sleep. I kept waking up several times during the night. Not sure what is up with that as yesterday was a good day. It ended up being a PJ day... ROFLOL... I was so busy sending messages to DD#2 and to the family that 3 PM rolled around before I realized it and I was still in PJs.

I am still playing catch up on CT stuff. Scrapping the LOs aren't hard... they just seem to flow together as soon as I decide on what photos to use. Making comments is harder as the brain doesn't seem to want to come up with new words for each one. Hopefully that will improve next month. So glad to see Jan is almost over as it has been a really hard month.

@faerywings - it is OKAY to get into your PJs at 2PM after all you did yesterday. :) Thanks for letting me know who is who in the pic... think I have them straight now. Keep using your SADD light. Sounds like you may need it this weekend with the nor'easter heading your way. Hope it won't be too bad for your area.

@LSlycord hope your pool doesn't freeze... being proactive by running the circulating motor is smart.
Glad the dogs are tolerating Decker... and hope he starts feeling safe soon.

@bcgal00 Sending good wishes that the house sells quickly and at the price you would like. Good luck on packing and weeding out stuff. That is always a challenge when getting ready to move. Keeping you and the family in my thoughts.

@Vicki Robinson HI!!! So glad to see you pop in. YES... we would love to have you stop in and chat when you can.

Coffee cup is empty... again. Need to get my shower then do a couple of loads of laundry. CYL

Morning ladies... Ughhh, more fog again today!! Yesterday the fog finally lifted in the afternoon and we got to see that big yellow ball of fire in the sky! Hopefully today we will be able to see it sooner! Dentist appointment went well, pretty pain free. However I need to have a wisdom tooth extracted at the end of March. I know you are all saying... "you still have your wisdom teeth"?? Yes I have two of them left. I had the top and bottom teeth extracted many years ago, the top right one popped right out, but the bottom was a nightmare!! Dentist had to brace himself with his knee on the chair to pull it out, then afterward I got dry socket, let me tell you, you never ever want to have that!! So I said I will get the other ones pulled when pigs fly!!! Of course this was at a time when you did not get to go to the oral surgeon and have it done properly. (you know back in the stone age) ;). Anyway this upper tooth has been driving me crazy, no matter what I eat, something always gets stuck in it. It makes me floss a lot more, but it is very annoying. So my dentist convinced me that the best thing to do was to pull it, the least expensive thing to do also. Hopefully that darn tooth pops right out without any trouble. Anyway... my visit with my sisters went well and we had a lot of laughs over coffee and black forest cake! Yes I was bad and had a piece of yummy cake LOL. I am also hoping to get out today and visit my favourite craft place, just to wander around and look at any new stuff that has come in. We are also thinking of going to see MIL and FIL sometime this weekend, to see if they need anything done. I will spend some time today in my craft room making a birthday for my Gary. His birthday is coming up quickly and I am not ready.

@faerywings - Those pretzel bites look yummy! Glad that Scott found some new flavours to add to your fav's! Nice to get into the shower and jammies after cleaning and you are right, who cares that it wasn't bed time LOL. Hope you get your house all sparkly clean today, I just love a clean house, mine doesn't get too dirty with just the two of us. I have to admit that I get very sad when I have to clean the hand prints and finger marks off of the glass when the kids have all gone back home though. I don't mind a mess when they are all here.

@LSlycord - How are you making out today with the foster dog? It is sad that he is so deaf, but kinda funny that he can't hear your other dog when she barks at him as he walks by! Thanks for the nice compliment on my card for Heather. I do love doing the card making, I haven't made any turtles lately, but want to get started on a painting of a heron soon. I have this huge slab of wood that it will be perfect on. I need to get busy with my painting again now that things are quieter and not so busy. I am glad that your son got a bit more sleep last night, yup people get a bit cranky when they haven't had a good nights rest! Good for you for getting all that commenting done! I am so far behind and need to catch up on that too. Not enough hours in the day right?? I was much more organized and got way more done when I was working full time LOL.

@Vicki Robinson - How fabulous to see you here Vicki! Of course you are so very welcome here in the daily O's like the others have said... The more the merrier! We do feel like we are all family here!

@BrightEyes - 4:30 am is far too early to be up and out of bed!!!! I hope you can sneak in a nap at some point today! Too funny that you didn't notice you were having a PJ day yesterday! How wonderful to hear the great news about your DD doing so well!
Hope you have fun getting your CT stuff done and yes I totally get how you feel about the commenting, don't want to say the same thing to everyone, but no matter what you say its always nice to get any kind of comment on a page right?

@bcgal00 - We will be thinking of all of you as you have your service for Bailey!! I am sure it will be tough for all of you! I am thinking that your house will sell very quickly and I hope you are able to find something just as quickly in Kamloops! It will be good to have a new start and get out of the big city where there are so many memories! Yes, just let me know when you are ready to talk to me, I will be more than happy to pay for any shipping cost, so generous of you to offer this to me! We will discuss it all later when you are ready.

@Cherylndesigns - How did things go with the groomer yesterday?? Hope that you can get your sleep pattern back to where you want it! Sounds like you had a very convoluted day and got all messed up!

@tanteva - Must be something going around, no one including me got a good sleep last night, was there a full moon or something? I can't tell there is too much fog out there to see if the moon is even out LOL.

Still can't see the lake or even down to the bottom of our hill because of the fog. Getting pretty sick of living in the twilight zone!! Better hop in the shower and get some stuff done. Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone! I have been lurking but not posting - nothing new really to report and I've felt like I've been a Debbie Downer and didn't want to spread my bad mood. Not that it's really bad, just not great. I need an attitude adjustment.

Everyone around me seems to be getting covid ... I'm scared it will end up in our house - not because I think we will fair badly, but because a positive test will delay hubby's surgery date at least a month, and I'm ready for him to be healthy again, and for that he needs the surgery. All of us are double vaxxed, except the little one - she's 5 and really itty bitty, so I worry about getting her vaxxed for it just because I don't know what the criteria was for 5 being 'the' age to get it - height, weight, something else? She's the size of a 3.5-4 year old, so I've been delaying on it (also delaying our boosters, because we've had a lot of stuff going on lately!).

I just spent 20 minutes answering everybody and I don't know where it went. (Hitting myself upside the head right now)!!I thought maybe I could find it in drafts, but it's gone!!

I'll try to reconstruct it but it will be later or tomorrow. GRRRRRRR and UGH!!! I hate when that happens.
