I posted on FB that I have been up this morning since 3 am. Clara wishes she could send me some super-strength coffee and I am currently trying to persuade her to drive some up to NJ. Wouldn't that be awesome???

I got woken up at 3 am from a spam text msg. Seriously??? Is there a "Do Not Text List"??
Then I hear the fire trucks and see the flashing light and smell smoke. I actually went out into my driveway to see what was going on (its like 2* out there too what was I thinking?) but I didn't see flames, just lots of smoke, so I guess someone's wood stove/fireplace went a bit overboard. The fire trucks just left my street now. Hope all of my neighbors are ok.

i had a great time with my mom. My kids were in typical form at dinner and had her laughing which just pumps them up even more to be sillier and sillier. You'd think that my kids were toddlers overdosing on sugar!!! Even Gary was up and about and laughing at the kids. That, in my mother's eyes, was worth every penny and every minute she spent on cooking for us. Not that she was counting. Not at all.

(hahhhaha!! Laurie just suggested on my FB post that Clara should bring her coffee around the world, even to Ona. I think we need to build a raft. Who wants to send me Popsicle sticks? Nancy- can you bring some hockey sticks we can use as oars?? :fish2:

I wanna go back to bed. But I can't so I am just going to drink coffee and dream of the day that Clara comes to visit.

Hi Laurie- I loved your idea of having Clara's Coffee Around the World. LOL Today is your day off, right? We'll be by around 2 pm hahahahha!!

Phyllis- I hear ya on the drying out crap. Cait's been having her bloody noses again, too. Hope that the saline keeps you from getting too dry.
We had a seriously crazy snow squall an Tuesday- thought that if it kept coming down, I was leaving my client's house early. Last time it snowed when I was at her house, i slid down the driveway and almost into the road. But then, it just stopped. And I am happy (ish) about the revised snow forecast for tomorrow. Earlier in the week they were saying it might be 7-12 inches, not it is down to 3-4. I would rather have Terry's weather but 2" is better than 7".

All of this talk of your hubbies retiring and having nothing to do made me think and appreciate Gary's boredom and moods so much better. I can't imagine being sick where you can't do much of anything other than surf the net or watch tv. Poor guy

And P- feel better with the bladder infection. I saw that Trudy suggested cranberry tablets. They are supposed to work very well. I gave them to my cat who had chronic and severe UTIs and blockages. Can't hurt to try them.

Terry- did you put the AC on? Not that I *really* want to know hehehehe!!!!! Just send some of that heat up north!!!!
I am sorry to hear about your Dr's SIL.

Go Devils!! Even though I was quite the Ranger's fan back in the 80's..... I can root for them with you.

Jen- the "beach" is a township lake that you need to get member's badges to go to.
So, are the beaches in Canada "open access?" I don't think that any of the beaches down the shore are free. You need a badge or you pay an entrance fee at certain points along the boardwalks. I could be 100% and there are lots of open beaches, whoich I would hope for but I think that is how they get money to maintain the beach and pay the guards and so on. Not that my little town lake is anything like the shore LOL

blergh- gotta run, it is taking longer and longer for my car to warm up in the mornings, so I better to that.

Good morning Chris. That sucks you woke up so early. I hate waking up early and waking up before my early alarm is just devastating for my sleepy mind. Lol.

I like this coffee around the world plan. We could hook us up to big truck (Andrea just sold her big truck...darn) and drive around picking people up. Go to VA to get Nana then NJ for Chris then to NY and then head to OH and keep going from there. I'm getting all excited just thinking about it.

Morning O fam- I had 4 cancels yesterday and was home by 7:30, so no Chipotle's. There is always next week. I am enjoying being up and still in my jammies, workout scheduled for 11:30 live with Eric for dancing and playing and exercising. Between now and then finish my home blessing and play in my basement (cleaning there too!- but if Eric can make exercise play, I can make cleaning play!) Have great days everyone!

It was a really good thing that I got off of the computer earlier to warm my car up this morning. I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start. Must be too cold. So I had to get Gary's car started (thankfully it turned over after a few tries) and scraped all the windows since his heater sucks and then pulled out of the driveway with the muffler scraping along. Both kids were cranky, especially Caitlyn after I told her she couldn't stay after school, that she needed to come home and clean her disaster of a room. Then I drove past the house that was on fire- which puts it all in perspective.

However, as much as it is in "perspective" I am still tired and cranky and wanting to go back to bed. LOL

Why isn't it Friday yet???????????????????????????????????????????

Chris, i was awake for the break between the second and third period of my nightly hockey game at 3:15. happily there was no FIRE in the neighborhood, though. that must have been a hell of a way to wake up! i hope you make it through the day without too much trouble. the car thing must have been SOOO annoying!

well, it's 9 degrees. it snowed again early this morning. i'm DONE with this!! :mmph:

I'll send you all of my snow then Laurie! hehe! I tossed some wrinkly apples out in my backyard the other day and they are still sitting there. I thought for sure some NJ wildlife would have been happy to see them. maybe all of the birds went to visit you.

I am back to say I hate bugs- I got up this am and felt something under my foot as I neared the coffee pot and turned the light on to discover a bug- ewww. Just now I looked down while typing and yes another bug- get over it bugs and leave me alone - please!!

Good am just got finished talking with my sister. Last week I teased her that it was warmer in NJ than in AZ and I guess now I am paying for it as it is so cold in NJ and they are having a heat wave in AZ. LOL

Chris sorry you were up so early - such a shame about the fire in the neighborhood.

Phylis I have NHL center ice TV package and I can watch hockey just about 24/7

Morning ladies... Well I don't know what's going on but I had another great sleep last night! Sorry Chris and Phylis :sorry: I think it might be because things are so much less stressful right now. The tyrant boss is leaving and he is barely at work anymore and tomorrow is his last day!! Christmas stress is over, and finally I feel healthy again! Things are just more tranquil around here. Now if my Mojo would just come back to me I would be one very happy scrapper!!

Chris - Brrrrr, it sounds chilly where you are! For some reason we have not been hit very badly this year with winter? I'm not complaining that's for sure!! It just makes me wonder what kind of summer we are going to have?? Yes all of our beaches are free to go to except if you are visiting a provincial park for camping and such, but any beach around here has public access and is free to to go to. Most of the beaches are maintained by the Municipality, so our tax dollars pay for that.

Clara - don't forget to bring the coffee truck to your Northern friends!!! Although Tim Hortons might chase you out of town LOL. But you could pick me up before you head to Nana's and we could all try to go somewhere a bit warmer and drink our coffee on the beach!

Laurie - Sounds like you are having a nice relaxing day, hope you get your cleaning done and Ughhhhh on the bugs!! I hate bugs!! :fear: Especially spiders :spider: Yuck!!!

Terry - Drive carefully and send some of that heat to Chris and Phylis, it sounds like they are freezing!!

Nana - Cleaning again!! Does it ever end?? I already know the answer to that, NOOOO!! Hopefully you get it all done in record time and can come and join us here again today!! :hug: wish I could give you hand with your housework! Maybe Clara will show up with the coffee and company and you can put your cleaning on hold!! :becky:

Well I am going to try once more to get a layout done today, got one done yesterday, but just can't post it yet. My Mojo is slowly making an appearance again. Looks like the sun is going to come out today, so perhaps another walk is in order! I've got a few painting projects to start also, should have had them done months ago :mmph: Have a great Thursday everyone!! :wave:
