Oops! I almost posted the wrongs day. I thought it was Wed. for a second. But nope- It is thursday and one day closer to the weekend.:)
Yesterday was a snow day- and I seem to waste so much time..... I scrapped 2 pages, cleaned out my linen closet, did some laundry and shoveled the cars out. but it feels like I got nothing "real" done.

Today I am off to work for MIL. yay for grocery money LOL

I have to post this quickly, because the car and driveway are going to need a bit of extra help this morning so i can get out.

right back at ya!! I have had no coffee but think I need some. I don't know how to work the coffee pot and think today is the day to figure it out. Unfortunately we no longer live in WA and my dad no longer works at Starbucks, so Derek has resorted to crappy coffee. Yuck!!

I am going to try and get stuff done today. I am so bad at that. We'll see how that goes.

Chris - Sounds like you got a ton of stuff done yesterday. Way more than I did. Have fun making your grocery money today.

Linda - slow down on the coffee lady and share some with me. :D Have a fantastic day!!
 
Morning! I have a huge cup from mcDs, but it's still a bit hot! I need my coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

So I just have to tell you girls that if I had not had my iPad and the free hospital wifi for the last 16 hours, I would be basket case! I did sleep a teensy bit...but a nap is in my forecast for today! And then maybe tonight a little quilting! Momma needs her fabric fix...

Ohhhhhhhhh and when they come out with pscs5 for the iPad, I'm selling a kid and getting it! Think of all the pages I could have done!!

Good morning ladies. I'm feeling pretty bleh this morning which is strange because I finally got some sleep. But I kept waking up with these really sharp pains. I'm glad I get to see the doctor today, I have a lot of questions.

Chris - How is all the crazy snow?

Linda - WOWZERS! You need to get some of that energy out!

Clara - I have a Keurig. It's the most amazing thing ever invented. Saves so much coffee. The one I have was about $170, my dad bought it and I kind of adopted it. (That's usually how it works :becky: ) I would say invest in one of those, they are amazing!

Sally - I'm glad it's not appendicitis that would of been bad =/ but kidney stones aren't fun either. I hope he feels better soon!!
 
Sally- glad to hear that soon you will be headed home

Nana- so much coffee- I can get that feeling with my rescue inhaler- not that I want to- but occasionally it happens

Clara- hope you get your stuff done that you want

Chris- good luck with the driveway- ds shoveled mine yesterday before his gf picked him up to go back to school

The car still sits in the driveway, I am hoping we get resolution on it soon so it can be repaired. I'm off to get my hair done- finally - I postponed it 2 weeks and ended up in pony tail land- ughhhhh. Getting groceries after that and sewing a pair of curtains today- guess I best get moving- oh and before the weekend is out- I need to scrap- need to- need to.
 
Woke up with more gall bladder stuff today, but I seem to be doing better. Now I'm having sinus migraines since it hasn't rained in awhile so the air is super dee dooper awful!

I was going to do some work today for my MIL's org, that requires me to be on Jeff's computer in the office we share... but my stupid BIL's dog who lives with us has PEED all over in there and the smell wont go away. This is all just in the last 24 hours grrr. She started with peeing on my purses, and now she's peeing on chairs and everything. Jeff cleaned it up, but I still can't handle the smell, and I hate the smell mixed with cleaner.

Sorry. TMI.

So, Riley and I are sitting in the living room cuddling under blankies and getting some more of my designing work done. Right now I'm one kit short of being done for the month.
 
Hello ladies. Long but very good day today. Mom had a PET scan today.lungs are completely clear. A very small bit of residual cancer in one node. Putting her on a chemotherapy drug with minimal side effects. Optimistic that this will get rid of the rest! It was long but I so enjoyed my time with her today! Feeling happy here!

Meg....You poor dear...you need to go to a dr to get yourself checked over good!!! You are being TOOOOO SICK sweetie!!! TRY BAKING SODA in the room with the pee smell!!! If it's carpet especially!!! just sprinkle it all over and let it sit for a few hours then vaccum up.

Laurie...sounds like a busy busy day!!! Oh but getting your hair done will feel so good!!! Hate to hear about the car!!! Hope that gets resolved quickly, and CHEAP!!!

Kayleigh....hope the Dr answers all the questions.....it will all be over soon my dear....there will be days you wish you could put her back!!! But ALLLLL WORTH THE WAIT!!! :)

Sally.....glad to hear Q is doing okay and you guys are home tonight!!! Hope his recovery continues and he passes this stone quickly....Poor little guy!!! Lots of ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

Clara.....well sure you can have some of my coffee....I don't get to get out to Starbucks often...so I have to make my own....I use Cracker Barrell (buy a bag every time we eat there) or Dunkin Donuts....which they sell in the grocery store now.

CHRIS......WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOTHING REAL DONE???? SOUNDS LIKE IT WAS A LOT TO ME!!! You are just too hard on yourself girl!!! NANA SAYS STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So how was your day today?? you must have been busy...have not seen you back today.
 
Ok so quick update from me, the doctor went in to do the stripping of the membranes and was having a hard time doing it, he finished and I went to the bathroom and when I came back he told me that I have a "weird" cervix. The way he explained it is that a normal cervix is smooth and firm but mine is all rubbery and he couldn't really get in there all the way.. he told me not to worry about it but ofcourse I am. Ever since he finished though I've been in a lot of pain. I'm trying to get some extra rest so I'll check back in the morning.

I am so excited for you and your mom. That is amazing. A PET scan shows so much too. I'll bet you can breathe for the first time since this all started. Yay for you.

Kayleigh - don't be concerned if the doctor told you not to be. All of our bodies are different, especially when it comes to babies and child birth. When it comes to birthing doctors will generally tell you when there is something to be concerned about. Keep resting...hopefully he irritated that cervix into action. Good luck lady.
