OK. Time has got to slow down a bit! Just a bit until the weekend, then it can slow down a lot.

I had such a nice visit with my BFF yesterday. I hate that we don't get to see each other that much but it is always good when we do.

I have to work on my mom's b-day gift today. I am going to take the photos I have been scanning and make a slideshow out of it. I am looking for free Italian mp3 clips online but haven't had any luck. I guess I will have to keep digging. Then I am working this afternoon and am going to try a new recipoe for dinner tonight. Tofu. Yes, really. I figured I would give it a shot. Its going to be crusted in fresh rosemary and over a bed of spinach. I'll let ya know if it goes over or not.

I was able to figure out what happened with my arrow keys and scrolling. I ended up googling it. F7. Catzilla must have rolled over it and that toggles the scrolling. Remind me of this when she does it again, please.

Hi Laurie- even though you say your exercise routine is not a big deal, it *really* is! The fact they you get up and do it just about every day is amazing and dedicated. Hope you enjoyed your take-out last night, sounds like you deserved it. Have a great day off today.

Phyllis- same thing out here. Started out looking nice, then really damp and cold and grey. Felt like snow! But man, we are supposed to get near 60* on Sunday. My kind of winter.
Did you have a nice visit with your sis and gyros? Coffee makes me a believer in something all powerful and good. hahah!!

Terry!!! How awesome!!!!! What a special trip! How old is you g-dd? And ITA- your hubby will like that extra leg room too. how long of a flight is it from where you are?


Trudy- this is the job that you DD got a few month ago, right? Is she liking it? I think it is a great thing for her. yay!

morning O fam- I wish I could just stay home in my own house and recover from yesterdays work day- too long and too frustrating. But alas, I must go get my hair done- I will like it when it is done, but hate having to sit there. Plus I have to go to the bank, recycle, two grocery stores and hobby lobby and my house still needs cleaning. One of the things that frustrated my yesterday when I picked up dinner was seeing people out enjoying time together doing something normal after work. I don't have normal with my work schedule- tough to go out to dinner or shopping which I had intended to do at 9:30 at night. Okay- rant done- I will make sure I get more paperwork time, and I will start to ask my co-workers to be respectful and take their noise elsewhere if they are talking when I am working and it is not work related.

Now to wake up and get this day rolling- I need to exercise to improve my mood today, that is for sure!

today i get to call the manager of my local Andersen Window company and tell him that his company has sold me a $5,000 piece of crap, and he needs to make me HAPPY. wonder how THAT will go. :croc: (the croc is ME....) why is everything a FIGHT? it is SO rare to buy something in the USA that you can actually be PLEASED with these days.

other than a ton of laundry and ironing and fighting with a window company, dunno what else is going on. i'll just make it up as i go along.

You tell them Phylis!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't live with that stuff....I am the queen of raising cane at poor quality CRAP!!! My most recent go rounds....AMAZON...my Kindle Fire!!We bought it about a year ago....we are on number 5...they have to keep sending us new ones...well...this last one is NEW...they were sending me refurbished ones....I called them on Friday last week and told them I paid for a new one...it was crap...I want a new one to replace it!!! They have the WORST design for their charger!!! It just quits working....Anyway....the guy was a big scared of me I think...he not only sent me a brand new one, he sent it for Saturday delivery :becky:


Okay...I think I may possibly have a concussion. Jaiden was not listening to me yesterday afternoon and blah blah blah, it caused me to hit my head on a rack I have hanging on the wall over my table. It is very sore and tender there still and I feel a bump....I had a headache all night...didn't sleep well because of it and this morning I am very nauseous and a KILLLLLLLLLER HEADACHE and diarrhea... I think it is going to be another day in bed.


Chris...same stuff happens to me with my keyboard..only it's kids....I have to google all the time!!! I have learned more and more about the different things it will do.


Laurie.....the "normal" is a fantasy in our heads. There is NO SUCH THING!!! :becky:


Okay...off to lay back down and see if my killer headache will go away!!!!!!!

Chris--once it hits double digits, I think 1/2 the month is gone. Time just goes by too fast. It's too bad we don't make more time to spend with our good friends. I'm guilty of not spending time too.

Phyllis--Anderson windows are not cheap! I would be mad mad mad. They certainly should make it right. Let us know how it goes.

Nana--hope you really don't have a concussion!

Chris - Glad you had a great visit with your BFF!! I miss my coffee buddy from Saskatchewan, we would chat for hours on end and solve all the world's problems over cup after cup of coffee :tea: Too funny about your F7 key problem, who knew?? :noidea:
My DD's job with the lady that made toys was only a temp job, just to get her some experience and to put more info on her resume, this job that she has now is new one so sure hope that it becomes a permanent one!!

Laurie - You day today sounds like mine yesterday, one lousy day off and all I did was run around like a chicken with its head cut off!!

Just have to tell you that I got some great news yesterday!! The people that own the store that I work at just bought another one in Revelstoke (Interior B.C.) and they are sending the manager from this store to work at that one, YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! The tyrant is going to be gone at the end of the month! There will be a lot of happy people at the workplace now!! :becky: Although he has never been verbally abusive to me, he has been terrible to some of my co-workers and even put a couple of girls on medical stress leave. Why the owners have kept him working for them I will never know :noidea: And yes there have been many complaints about him! Now, just keep your fingers crossed for us that the new Manager actually knows what he/she is doing and is not worse than what we have had!! ray: Have a great day everyone!! :wave:

Well, sadly my hairdresser has started having seizures (pray for her) but it means I can stay home today and run errands tomorrow after work. Loving this option. Just took out a bunch of trash & the house feels so much lighter now toopen the curtains and let the light shine in before this pm clouds.

Well....I slept until 12....then was sick as a dog all afternoon.....Bleh...guess I should have went to the Dr...but my head is too hard for that :rofl:

I still have a headache...but I feel better. I do have a doozie of a bruise on my forehead.
