Hey there my O-zie-oooos!

Are my East Coast brethren getting ready for "Winter Storm Nemo"??? Really, wth is this naming of winter storms all about? And Nemo??? hahahahh!!Its not very intimidating. LOL

Depending of what weather forecast you listen to, we might be getting anywhere from 3-6" to 12+ People in CT/MA might be getting 24"/Blizzard warnings. Ick.

Not much I can do to get ready here. Thankfully, I know that the generator works, even if the snow blower doesn't. We have shovels and kids. Guess that counts, eh? The kids and I have a hard time though shoveling since we all have Raynauds which means we have very bad circulation in our feet and hands. Cold= Pain. But we'll just have to take turns and grumble under our breathe that Gary should have fixed the snow blower.LOL

Aside from the forecast, I am feeling much better about Scott's future today than I did yesterday. One worry slightly crossed off the list!

Off to work later today, and spackling Caitlyn's two unpainted walls. Off to get paint this afternoon, so we can paint this weekend.

Have a fab day!!!!

Temptation on Thursday
If I call Linda S a gazillion times, and ask her to pick me up and bring me to Maui, do you think she'll do it just to shut me up? :tape:

Chris, sounds like a good weekend to paint, since you guys probably won't be getting out of the house! do you have a lot of driveway to shovel? happily, Hubby thinks of shoveling as exercise, so we don't have a blower, and i hardly ever shovel anymore. "Nemo?" i learned from a Charles Dickens book that Nemo means "no one." so this coming blizzard wishes to remain anonymous. the last one we got was called "Luna," the ditsy chick in the Harry Potter books!

off to the dentist for my checkup. my dentist recently retired, and this young, nervous guy bought his practice. i feel bad for the kid. he seems socially ill-at-ease. not the greatest attribute when you have to work with people. after the dentist, maybe i'll go walk around Tues. Morning and TJ Maxx for a bit before i go back home to do some work. i think i need to clean out all my kitchen cabinets and get rid of some of the stuff i never use.

ok. gotta go build the fire for the day. another thing i get really TIRED of doing during the seemingly endless winter in the Northeast....

enjoy your day. declutter.

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- Hey Phylis- I may hit TJ Max today when I go shopping- I need a cast iron frying pan- sadly I let my old one go-but that was back when they were not popular. So no storm for me. I am fine with that. Today woke up at 444. So my house is becoming amazingly clean- it has needed it. Then off to get groceries. I think I will take my camera and try to capture some photos of ice at the river. I really want to find my kitchen table today- I see the legs, but the top- not so much- could be the housework layout!! Have a marvy day everyone!

A quickie from me here...gotta jump in the shower....I have a meeting at the school at 11 (Jesse's IEP meeting)

I had to teach the little princess in the house a lesson last night....she has gotten horrible about just dumping every single toy out in the floor in her room...you can't even move when she does..she is not playing with them...just messing everything up....she seriously can't get in her bed it's so bad....I warned her twice last week if she kept it up, I was taking the toys......well...guess who doesn't have ONE SINGLE toy in her room now.....the only thing left is the toy bin and her books....She sat on her bed last night just looking at books...after she cried for a while.

I bagged them up and put them in the junk room downstairs....locked them up....

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAN NANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning ladies... It was nice to wake up and not be in total darkness!! Does that mean that spring is coming?? Or is just because I got to sleep in a tad bit later than usual? I keep trying to convince myself that its because spring is on its way!! :noidea:

Chris - Nemo???? Really?? who names these things anyway? Hope you don't get any of the snow that they are predicting! Maybe Gary could get the snowblower fixed today before it all heads your way?? So what colours are you doing the remaining walls in Cait's room?? Hope your work day goes smoothly and you get home before the white stuff hits ya!!

Phylis - The dentist...ugghhh!! But we all gotta go don't we!! My GP is a social introvert also, crazy occupation to be in when you don't like being around people!! She is very nice, but openly admits that she does not like to socialize at all!! Good luck with your de-cluttering today! It really is something that I should be doing also, but not today!!:becky:

Laurie - Good idea to make a page about your invisible table top!! Can't wait to see it!! Enjoy the day!!

Nana Linda - Not MEEEEEAAAAN NANA!! Just teaching a lesson Nana! Even little princesses need to know the rules of the house right? Hope Jesse's meeting goes well! Have a great day my USA sister!!

Well I took my wedding rings in to get the clasps rebuilt yesterday, YIKES 90$!!! Should have them back by tomorrow, but I guess 90$ is better than losing the diamonds and having to replace them right? Not much to do today, go to the bank and a bit of laundry, so hoping to get in another walk outside today, yesterdays walk was chilly, but ohhhh so refreshing, it really clears the cobwebs out!! Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!!

Well I've been busy the last two days working out of town. When not dealing with work, been busy working with insurance adjusters concerning the car accident. The good thing--the guy with the broken neck was discharged. I'm thinking it must have been a stable fracture--good. The bad--the drivers insurance is not communicating about settling the claim for my car. More bad--found out that all personal and property liability--like the guy with the broken neck-falls under my insurance. Yuk! Hope his expenses don't exceed my insurance limits, otherwise I am liable.

Could kill the kid---my kid---he doesn't realize he cannot buy what he wants. Doesn't qualify for a loan and we won't co sign because we don't want to be on the title. I found a deal for him (one of my docs owns an older truck and will sell to me cheap) but the kid said "I won't be caught dead in a Chevy. I want a Ford!" Well--he is on foot! I told Craig to NOT let him drive his car and I'm not going to let him drive my car. See how the little twerp likes walking. I'm done--done looking for a truck for him. Since he thinks I'm dumb--he can do this all on his own. Thanks for listening to me rant and rave!

Had a dinner meeting with my docs last night. We decided to have pizza delivered. The pizza man gets there---"ugh, Terry, do you have any cash?" WTH! These are doctors and they have no money!!! Go figure. Good thing I had $40 on me.

Haven't scrapped in a week. I'm getting grumpy!

Hope all of you in the path of Nemo are ok and don't get dumped on. It's warm here--about 70.

Gotta get to work. Will check in later.

Hate to say it with the winter storm approaching all of you. But it is gorgeous here. I am sitting by the pool and watching the kids swim. Warm and sunny with a breeze. Very grateful today.
