*cue Rolling Stones saxophone music*
I'm just waitin' on the snow, do doo do do dooo yah yah...
I am breathing a sigh of relief, we went from the snow starting overnight last night to mid-morning today and then from 8" now down to 5-6". If that adds up to a little less shoveling and scraping, I will take it. Winter stinks. I am hitting that point where my Seasonal Affective Disorder makes me want to do nothing at all but sleep and eat carbs. OK, honestly that is me on a good day but SAD makes it all-encompassing. I have my therapy light on right now, sat in front of it for a long time yesterday but it is not the same as being outside. I know that I should really *do* something, I utterly incapable of figuring out what to do.
Good news/not-so-good news. I finished the second mitten- yay!!!! I miscounted rows and the second mitten was longer than the first- boo!!!! After all of that time crocheting, I had to rip the entire thing out. *grumbles* I wish I was the kind of person that could sit and relax a bit because sure, crocheting the mitten again *should* count as a project but in my odd mindset, that isn't doing something.
@felis- in my searching from Crocheting information yesterday I found these: Crochet School and Crocheting101. I am thinking that maybe I should go back to basics and figure why I keep making silly mistakes. Maybe these will help you too.
Other than complaining about life in general, I didn't do much of anything yesterday and think I will do the same today. Aren't I a brilliant basket of sunshine? This too shall pass. I just need to get through the next few weeks.
Oh-- one more bit of good news, I was tagging some things in ACDSee and I found two LOs of Christopher that I did in 2020 that didn't get copied into the folder of pages for the album. That makes it 12/20 pages done!
Sending everyone love and hugs!
